New features

Edit your guild page in game (officers)

• New “Web page & Discord” button in the Declare tab, to set up your guild’s page on the website without leaving the game:
  • the guild presentation (500 characters);
  • the Discord invite link, visible to everyone or only to accepted applicants;
  • up to 3 questions asked to applicants on the website;
  • Discord notifications: paste a webhook address and every new application is announced in your channel. A button turns them off.
• Discord links and webhook addresses are checked as soon as you save: invalid or suspicious addresses are refused right away.
• Your settings are sent to the website when you log out or type /reload, through Guild Finder Companion.
• If the page is also edited on the website, the most recent version always wins, both ways.

Application history (officers)

• New “History” button in the Applications tab: rejected and invited applicants, with the date, class, roles and message.
• The history includes decisions made in game, including by other officers, and decisions made on the website.
• The addon keeps it for 180 days, while the website only keeps its own for 30 days.

Officer notes (officers)

• A “Notes” button on every application that came from the website, current ones and those in the history.
• Read the notes left by your officers, or write your own (500 characters). They are shared with your officers on the website.
• Notes written on the website show up in game after the next sync, and yours are sent when you log out or type /reload.

Guild details

• Click a guild in the search to open its full listing:
  • from the addon: faction, languages, activities, roles wanted, members, play style and last update;
  • “On the website” section: recent activity, play days and hours, Discord link, presentation and questions asked to applicants. Only the information that has been filled in is shown.
• The “Website page” and “Discord” buttons give you the link to copy.
• The “Apply” button opens the application form for that guild.
• A Discord link reserved for accepted applicants is never shown to other players.

Misc

• All new features are translated into the addon’s 7 languages.
• Website-related features require Guild Finder Companion 1.3.0. With an older version, the addon works normally but this information isn’t synced with the website.

Guild Finder Companion – 1.3.0

• Mandatory updates: a new version is installed automatically on launch, before any sync. It’s also checked every 6 hours.
• No more log file: the Companion no longer writes a log, and the old one is deleted.
• Moved to the new server guildfinder.alwaysdata.net.
• Syncs the guild page edited in game, the application history, officer notes and the website information shown in the addon.
