Guild Finder TBC & Forever
Guild Finder is a World of Warcraft addon that makes guild recruitment and guild life smoother for both officers and players. It brings a complete in-game guild listing and application system, so guilds and players can find each other without external tools or random whispers.
It also includes a Guild space: your guild’s events, sign-ups, loot, character pages and guild bank, shared between the game and the website.
Works on WoW Classic TBC Anniversary and WoW Forever.

Features
Built into the Guild & Communities window
Guild Finder appears as a new tab in the Guild & Communities window, right below Blizzard’s own tabs. Search, listing, applications and officer tools open directly inside the window, just like the Roster view.
Players without a guild can still use the minimap button or the /grpf command.
Find a guild
Browse listed guilds and filter them by:
- Language
- Activity: Questing, Dungeons, Raids, PvP, Role Playing (RP)
- Role needed: Tank, Healer, Damage
- Guild size: Small, Medium, Large, based on active members
Sort results by name or by active member count, then apply in one click.
Guild listing (officers)
Officers can list their guild with its languages, activities, roles needed and play style. The number of active members (online in the last 14 days) is calculated automatically from the guild roster.
Officers can remove the guild from the list at any time.
In-game applications
Players send structured applications including:
- Their roles, pre-filtered by class
- Preferred activities
- Availability: weekdays and/or weekend
- A motivation message
- Race, class and date
Application management
Any guild member with the right to invite can:
- View, accept or reject applications
- Notify applicants automatically by whisper
- Send guild invites
- Track application status, synced between all recruiters of the guild
Guild space: the game and the website, together
Type /grpf space to open your guild’s private space, shared with the website:
- Events and sign-ups: see upcoming raids and dungeons and sign up right in game (present, late, maybe, bench, absent, role, comment).
- Automatic sync with the Windows companion, on every logout or
/reload: characters, gear and enchants, stats, talents, professions and recipes, bags and bank, and the WoW Forever guild bank. - On the website: character pages filled in from the game (gear with Wowhead tooltips, stats like the in-game character sheet, 3D character, talent trees drawn like in game), loot by boss with DKP, EPGP or loot council, a “who can make what?” crafters list, and the guild bank shown tab by tab.
- Picture tutorial in game (
/grpf tuto), and what’s new shown after each update (/grpf news). - You choose what you share: bags and bank sharing can be turned off at any time.
Invisible communication
Guild Finder shares listings and applications through hidden addon messages: nothing appears in your chat. Listings stay available as long as one member of the guild with the addon logs in regularly. With the companion app, guilds stay visible even when none of their members are online.
Modern interface
A clean interface inspired by retail WoW, with native dropdown menus, scrollable lists and guild cards.

Why use Guild Finder?
Guilds often struggle to reach the right players, and players often struggle to find a guild that matches how they want to play. Guild Finder bridges that gap with an intuitive interface that feels native to WoW, and then keeps the guild organized once everyone has joined.
It’s built for guilds and players who want:
- Better visibility
- Better organization
- Better recruitment
- Less spam and fewer random whispers
Lightweight and non-intrusive
Guild Finder is designed to be:
- Efficient and low-overhead
- Respectful of Blizzard’s interface: it adds its tab without changing how the Guild & Communities window works
- Usable alongside your other UI addons
The companion app is optional: without it, guild search, listings and applications work entirely in game.
Guild Finder does not modify gameplay or automate any action: every invite and decision is made by you.
