    Update schema version to 3 and implement migration logic for unlamported events. Add full replay since constant for compatibility with older peers. Enhance heartbeat synchronization by including event count in peer registration and heartbeat messages. Introduce functions to count death events and records, and improve event handling in sync engine for better data integrity during catch-up processes.
