Addon Summary
I'm still working on it, but its in a testable state for officers/GM's
I put this addon together to help support my guild and make raid nights feel calmer, fairer, and much easier for everyone involved.
At its heart, it’s a structured, queue-based loot distribution system for raids and organised groups — based on a refurbished, modern take on the classic Suicide Kings idea:
KSK – KonferSK Suicide Kings (updated for modern WoW).
When a boss is defeated, players use the addon to declare their loot intent by choosing one of four options:
-
Need
-
Greed
-
Transmog
-
Pass
From there, the addon resolves each item using clear, predefined rules. respects queue order, and helps ensure a fair rotation across the entire raid.
How loot is resolved
-
Need awards the item to the highest-queued eligible player who can equip it.
-
If nobody selects Need, Greed and Transmog are resolved via rolls.
-
Pass (or fully unclaimed items) sends the item to the guild bank for disenchanting or selling.
Queue positions are maintained automatically and updated after each win, so the system stays consistent without officers having to constantly micromanage it.
Important note about WoW UI limitations
Because World of Warcraft uses protected UI rules, the addon cannot click Blizzard loot buttons on a player’s behalf. Instead, it acts as the authoritative decision system:
-
It clearly displays the winner
-
Locks the result to prevent confusion or disputes
-
Announces outcomes to the raid
-
Requires the loot master to assign the item accordingly
What the addon is designed to do
This system is built to:
-
Reduce and prevent loot disputes
-
Keep outcomes transparent and predictable
-
Encourage fair participation and rotation
-
Give officers and raid leaders clear tools for enforcement
Above all, it relies on accurate player input and consistent rule-following — and if everyone uses it properly, it creates a loot experience that feels steady, trusted, and genuinely fair.
