Guild Functions v1.9.50
What's new
MissionAccomplished 1.9.50
Coordinated release for WoW Classic Era 1.15.9, Interface 11509.
Noctis Guides
- Adds 14 arrival checkmarks to reviewed avoidance travel through the Ashenvale/Barrens border, Dreadmist Peak to Ratchet, optional Wailing Caverns travel and the Uldum mountain path. The wing shows the recent arrival, current checkpoint and next checkpoint; guide details retain the full list. These checks record actual arrivals on the current navigation visit. They do not promise that a patrol cannot be present, and quest interactions and final destinations retain their own completion checks.
- Elite, rare and rare-elite world-map/minimap pins now use the observed creature's own coordinates and update with observed creature movement. Moving the player alone does not move the marker. When Classic Era cannot provide the creature's location, no pin is shown; independent threat and discovery notices remain available. Tooltips identify the last known creature position. The compact 12-pixel glyphs, shared rare-elite marker and subtle 18-pixel halo remain.
- Fixes route catch-up being blocked by an optional turn-in whose covering quest conditions are confirmed inapplicable. Confirmed later quest progress can resume the route while required work, held quests, unknown eligibility, pending accepts and safety checkpoints retain their protections. No quest completion or manual acknowledgement is fabricated.
- Shows the immediate travel action first in the wing, with the eventual step goal underneath. For example, travel to the Musquash Root bank errand leads with the flight or portal instruction before the bank goal. The objective returns to the headline when travel ends.
Companion packages
All thirteen packages are version-aligned. The other twelve packages retain their existing functional runtime behavior from 1.9.49. Classic Era compatibility, dependency relations, owned artwork, map settings and quest-progress protections are preserved.
Verification
The full Guides suite passed 10,192 test executions and 212 route-document assertions across Elune and PUC Lua 5.1, with zero failures. The full run overlapped the final wing changes; complete affected presentation suites were rerun afterward, adding 522 successful test executions. All 143 Guides runtime files compiled on both runtimes. Existing whole-addon lint and formatting findings remain at their documented baseline with no added occurrences.
Authorized in-game reloads recovered the affected Ashenvale route from step 98 to step 104 and preserved step 104 on the next reload. The actual wing showed the current flight instruction above the bank goal. Read-only comparisons preserved all 13 native quest entries/objectives, HUD state, selected settings and the existing 22-entry diagnostic history; only the native played-time counter refreshed. The bank errand remains pending. All temporary diagnostic helpers were removed.
Temporary renderer checks covered the compact safety list and creature-pin rendering, movement and cleanup. Genuine safety waypoint arrivals, real hostile creature-coordinate availability and movement, first marker creation during ordinary combat, and the flight/portal/bank transition remain pending normal-play checks. Synthetic previews do not certify those situations. In particular, ordinary hostile creature coordinates may be unavailable in Classic Era; missing coordinates produce no location pin.
Local evidence and the remaining location checklist are recorded under reports/safety-creature-fix-20261005, reports/route-catchup-20261005 and reports/ship-safety-route-fixes-20261005.
