Description
A private, guild-only auction house for WoW Classic Era. Guildmates list items and gold, browse, buy, and post want-to-buy orders — a shared market every guildmate's addon keeps in sync — plus a Market Watch module that looks up real auction-house prices and shares them over the guild channel. There is no server, no website, and no external service: everything travels over WoW's hidden guild addon channel, so the market is confined to your guild and nothing ever leaves it.
Features
- Shared order book — list items or gold; every guildmate sees the same synced market instantly.
- Assisted trade settlement — buying flips an order to pending; open a normal trade with the seller and the item/gold auto-fills, then the completed deal is recorded. (Blizzard's API never moves your gold or items on its own — you confirm every trade.)
- Want-to-buy orders — post "want item X for Y" so sellers can see demand, not just supply.
- Gold or barter pricing — price in gold, or set a free-text barter price (e.g. "2x Black Lotus").
- Ratings & reviews — rate your trading partner after a completed deal; peer reputation is the trust layer of a closed market.
- Market Watch price lookup — look up a fair reference price for any item from anywhere; the guildmate with the freshest cached scan answers, and a reference price shows right in the sell and browse views.
How It Works
A true server-authoritative auction house is impossible as an addon — Blizzard won't let addons move gold or items for you. Guild Found AH does the only thing that actually works:
- a shared order book every guildmate's addon keeps in sync (eventual consistency over the guild channel);
- assisted manual settlement — when you and a guildmate open a trade window, the addon auto-fills the item/gold and records the deal;
- Market Watch — at an auction house, run a full scan; from anywhere, look up an item and the guildmate with the freshest cached price answers first.
No server. No website. Nothing leaves your guild.
Usage
Open the window with the minimap button or a slash command, list an item, and your guildmates see it instantly. Settle face-to-face — the addon does the fiddly part.
