What's new

Version 0.2.0 - 2026-07-28 Guild Ledger rework

  • Simplifies the final .167 order status card to the current state, useful guidance and relevant expiry only. Compact Players rows now render specializations once as Profession: Short spec, while full localized specialization names and aliases remain available to search and tooltips.

  • Expands the product name to Guild Craft Browser throughout the .166 welcome title, body, primary action, profession reminder and release news.

  • Adds the .165 release onboarding: an account-wide 0.2.0 welcome shown only in a safe city/rest context, session-only deferral, a persistent per-character crafting-profession refresh checklist, and a throttled chat reminder. Opening GCB acknowledges the announcement; preference resets do not erase onboarding progress or domain data.

  • Fixes the .164 enUS language-purity gaps in dynamically sourced UI copy, including the Players specialization filter, advanced sharing navigation, order/recipe actions, empty comment counters and the activity-list header. The i18n gate now validates indirect BrowserWindow labels in addition to direct translation calls and popup fixtures.

  • Adds the .163 owner-authority epoch cutover. It preserves local characters, orders, comments, drafts, settings, favorites, logs and purge watermarks while clearing remote Players/profession/spec/cooldown truth. Remote Fachdata can return only behind a checksum-bound epoch-2 GCB-use proof; hello, comments and receipts never create that authority. Re-entry after a rollback scrubs legacy data again, while social message interoperability remains independent.

  • Polishes the .162 in-game feedback slice: fixes the order-detail icon inset, compacts the chronological comment timeline without reply controls, reduces the composer height, separates Players filters/headers/rows, removes alt/old from compact profession rows, and keeps the header brand fixed to Guild Craft Browser.

  • Rebuilt the main window as the Guild Ledger with Find, Orders, Players and More, a fixed logical 1000x600 canvas, no free resizing, shared 0.78-1.20 scaling and temporary screen fit that never rewrites the saved preference.

  • Focused the empty Find view on search and responsive two-to-four-column profession cards, moved release news into More, removed the redundant Search label that overlapped the header at minimum width and removed the global status footer from every main view.

  • Matched the count-free Other professions action to the muted profession cards with a real desaturated WoW icon, expanded the timeline composer to 80 pixels and clarified that passive popups wait for both participants, a capital city or rest area and a safe situation while chat stays visible.

  • Added deterministic order auto-selection, a stronger selected-row state, recipe-first empty actions and a material pane that only occupies space when the current cart contains materials.

  • Rebalanced the public timeline with compact lifecycle rows, complete comment cards, stable reading position, a new-message affordance and a composer that grows from four to six lines before scrolling internally.

  • Increased all reusable result rows, category filters and row favorites to at least 26 pixels, softened source badges, grouped Player details by identity, professions/specs and cooldown freshness, and added real disabled-button presentation.

  • Used the existing Player-row separator without an extra empty pixel so the default window shows eight full 26-pixel Player rows while preserving the complete detail-panel height.

  • Reworked More into a responsive settings center with a two-column overview, dedicated localized news, secondary diagnostics, selected toggle states and a separately placed destructive reset.

  • Completed the source-only UX audit with localized singular/plural counters and message failures, readable secondary text, larger primary targets, quieter nested frames, explicit action verbs and three labelled Player detail groups even at the supported compact window size.

  • Kept Board and Players selections bound to stable order/player identities across refreshes, insertions and re-sorting. Foreign Board detail clicks no longer clear an existing local material selection, and Board reagent costs resolve through the selected order recipe.

  • Unified compact age and cooldown formats and replaced raw diagnostic enum tokens such as transport, decision and outcome codes with localized labels.

  • Added global two-visible-character Find search with real guild results ahead of catalog fallbacks while keeping the empty profession overview and load-on-demand Seed modules quiet.

  • Restricted all newly created orders to selected recipes. Existing legacy free-text orders remain readable but cannot be created through the UI or slash commands.

  • Added a public chronological order timeline with lifecycle events, comments, one-level reply references, exact timestamps, author-only retraction tombstones, delivery state and the latest three activities in order details.

  • Added per-character, per-order local drafts that never sync, survive blocked posting and clear only after successful local message creation. Comments are limited to 280 visible characters, 50 per order and deterministic rate limits.

  • Added author-only, checksum-bound message manifests, payload requests, atomic chunks and guild acknowledgements with persistent retry, 24-hour warning, out-of-order recovery and deterministic replica convergence.

  • Added separate checksum-bound participant receipts for received and seen, with seen emitted only by a relevant participant while the full timeline is visible at its newest end. Aggregate states never invent names or old-client confirmations.

  • Bounded message retry to initial delivery, roughly 5 seconds, 30 seconds, 2 minutes and 10 minutes, then a dormant state that wakes only for a suitable peer, safe convergence or explicit user retry. The Timeline offers Retry only for the author's own dormant or warned comment.

  • Made message admission atomic so a rejected import cannot evict an existing cross-order message, outbox row or read cursor. Added an author-specific fast append index while retaining full deterministic reconciliation for genuinely out-of-order imports.

  • Coalesced message anti-entropy offers per guild peer, moved request pruning behind its one-second gate and replaced repeated timeline copy/sort work with cheap per-order revisions. Typing still persists drafts synchronously.

  • Added curated display, notification, capture, sharing and diagnostic settings. Character profiles own popup, minimap and automatic-capture preferences; display and granular recipe/cooldown/order sharing remain global. Preference reset never removes domain data.

  • Kept relevant order events in chat, limited passive order and completion popups to safe/rest areas and kept comments chat-only with per-order mute.

  • Hardened recipe and Board sharing switches so disabled domains emit no queued or new outbound domain payload while inbound data remains readable.

  • Added a reversible ten-folder candidate rotation: a new preview can replace an existing preview while preserving the immediate prior runtime and its older rollback chain.

  • Reworked TBC profession specializations into one canonical ID registry for Alchemy, Blacksmithing, Engineering, Leatherworking and Tailoring, including the two-level Weaponsmith hierarchy.

  • Added explicit known, none and unknown states with evidence, confidence, authority, observation time, specialization revision and profession revision. Direct player-spell APIs can confirm a result; spellbook-name fallback stays heuristic, and recipes or cooldowns never become confirmed specialization evidence.

  • Added fail-closed handling for contradictory Blacksmith branches, incomplete scans, specialization changes, stale data, legacy SavedVariables and out-of-order owner updates.

  • Added the compact owner-only V2Z guild summary with canonical IDs, strict guild/owner/compatibility/checksum validation, a 240-byte limit and no cache relay. Offline alts intentionally publish only after logging into that alt.

  • Added compact specialization labels to the existing Players profession column, full status/evidence/freshness details in tooltips and detail views, and consistent labels in catalog, recipe and Board surfaces.

  • Replaced the unsupported Unicode confirmation checkmark with the font-safe compact marker OK, preventing square fallback glyphs in WoW fonts.

  • Players search now finds profession-only players by player name, specialization name, stable key, canonical ID and DE/EN aliases such as Transmutation, Goblin, Drachenschuppen and Axtschmied, even when no cooldown is present. Specializations do not change crafting eligibility, ranking or order acceptance.

  • Expanded Players into a full-width directory of proven GCB users. All contains only local characters and foreign Name-Realm identities with a GCB-use proof no older than seven days; roster-only, cache-only and legacy-only identities never create a row.

  • Added compact All, Online, Professions, Specs and Cooldowns filters, a dedicated Players search state and deterministic ordering with local characters first, then online state, original activity and name.

  • Tightened the Players Online filter to require a complete roster match that is currently online plus a direct active GCB owner signal. Roster-only, cache-only, legacy-only and offline identities no longer qualify.

  • Fixed the Specs filter row projection so it displays the profession that actually owns the known specialization instead of an unrelated first profession such as Cooking. Cooking-only characters remain excluded.

  • Player rows now retain every authoritative profession and specialization segment on the one canonical identity row. Matching segments lead and +N is used only for real width overflow; Mouseover and the detail panel retain the complete profile, profession, specialization, cooldown, evidence, authority and freshness context.

  • Directory projections are isolated from SavedVariables and their shared cache. Cross-realm identities remain separate even with empty legacy realm fields, and the higher-authority character source atomically owns its key, professions and cooldown bucket independent of table iteration order.

  • Added compact checksum-bound GCB-use proofs. Proven guild peers may relay the unchanged original proof as an attestation, but reception or relay time can never refresh the seven-day window, online state, professions, specs or cooldowns.

  • Foreign identities leave Players entirely after seven days without a fresh original GCB-use proof. Historical domain data remains internal and diagnostic-only until the existing day-14 purge.

  • At exact day 14, foreign character, profession, sync, cache and cooldown buckets are removed together. Local characters are never auto-deleted, and timestamp-less legacy data receives one persistent 14-day grace period.

  • Reworked retention activity lookup into one canonical linear owner index per operation, reused it across Players and persistent Sync cleanup, removed the redundant per-row owner lookup and reduced the Players safety poll from one to five seconds. Unchanged polls now hit the bounded directory projection cache before snapshot, copy, filter and sort work; cooldown-clear refreshes are debounced.

  • Persistent Sync cleanup no longer runs immediately after database initialization. Automatic retention waits through combat and login convergence, retries queue-busy periods after 30 seconds and bounds only that queue deferral to ten minutes.

  • Added canonical, collision-free 14-day replay tombstones and fail-closed owner/scope gates for direct V2, legacy and cache-holder imports. Cleanup snapshots each canonical identity before mutation so legacy .153 clocks cannot disappear halfway through one purge.

  • Players presents roster observation, original GCB-use proof and profession scan freshness separately. Periodic cleanup invalidates catalog, Board and Players projections only when removals occurred.

  • Added deterministic specialization, player-directory, Guild-Ledger, receipt/retry/proof, message-convergence, sharing and UI regression suites. The complete offline addon gate passes with 119/119 hardening tests, Lua 5.1, 1528 i18n mappings, a fail-closed 196-local BrowserWindow budget and all Message/Trade/UI/Installer/safety checks.

  • Hardened the local preview switch into one verified transaction for the main addon and all nine Seed modules. Candidate installation now fails closed while WoW is running, serializes concurrent switches, preserves the complete previous runtime, checks exact SHA-256 readback and offers a one-command rollback without touching SavedVariables or other game data.
