Guild Armory - Handbook

Description (English)

A plugin for Guild Armory – requires Guild Armory 0.1.56 or newer. It adds a Handbook tab under Guild (or /handbook): the place for everything a new member asks first – your rules, loot system, raid tactics, the Discord link.

A notice board

• Every page is a parchment note with a red pin on a cork board in a wooden frame: its title and first lines at a glance, a click opens it in full
• Notes marked "Important" turn yellow and hang in front – and appear on the Guild Armory dashboard under News as a golden card that opens the note

Link buttons

• Your website, Discord, logs, sign-up sheets and more hang above the board as tags – Discord links in Discord blue
• WoW cannot open a browser, so a click shows the address ready to copy

An editor like Word

• Officers write notes in a large editor with a ribbon: Undo and Redo, styles for each line (Title, Heading, Normal, Strong, Bullets, Numbered, Note box), text colours including the class colours, left or centred
• Insert pictures, link buttons, dividing lines, raid markers, items (shift-click them), guild members' names in class colour – and templates for rules, a tactic and a newcomers' guide
• The page appears live next to the text, exactly as the guild will read it. Up to 6000 characters per page; shortcuts like Ctrl+Z, Ctrl+Y and Ctrl+S

Pictures

• Put .tga or .blp files into Interface\AddOns\GuildArmory_Handbook\Pictures\ and insert them with the picture button
• The first picture of a note hangs small on its card
• Only a line of text goes to the guild, so everyone needs the same files in their Pictures folder; the game sees new files after a restart

For the whole guild

• Officers edit the handbook in game; who may edit is set by guild rank, and the guild master decides
• Everyone in the guild gets the newest version automatically – no website, no account
• Every guild writes its own: the plugin comes empty

Try it first

• /handbook demo lays sample notes on the board – only on your screen, never saved or sent; the same command ends it

Ein Plugin für Guild Armory – braucht Guild Armory 0.1.56 oder neuer. Es bringt den Reiter Handbuch unter Gilde (oder /handbook): den Ort für alles, was ein neues Mitglied zuerst fragt – eure Regeln, das Lootsystem, Raidtaktiken, den Discord-Link.

Ein schwarzes Brett

• Jede Seite ist ein Pergamentzettel mit roter Nadel an einer Korkwand im Holzrahmen: Titel und erste Zeilen auf einen Blick, ein Klick öffnet ihn ganz
• Als „Wichtig“ markierte Zettel werden gelb und hängen vorn – und erscheinen auf der Übersicht von Guild Armory unter News als goldene Karte, die den Zettel öffnet

Link-Knöpfe

• Eure Website, Discord, Logs, Anmeldelisten und mehr hängen als Anhänger über dem Brett – Discord-Links in Discord-Blau
• WoW kann keinen Browser öffnen: Ein Klick zeigt die Adresse zum Kopieren

Ein Editor wie Word

• Offiziere schreiben Zettel in einem großen Editor mit Menüband: Rückgängig und Wiederholen, Formatvorlagen je Zeile (Titel, Überschrift, Normal, Fett, Aufzählung, Nummeriert, Hinweiskasten), Textfarben samt Klassenfarben, links oder zentriert
• Einfügen: Bilder, Link-Knöpfe, Trennlinien, Raidmarkierungen, Gegenstände (per Umschalt-Klick), Namen von Gildenmitgliedern in Klassenfarbe – und Vorlagen für Regeln, eine Taktik und einen Neulings-Guide
• Die Seite erscheint live neben dem Text, genau so, wie die Gilde sie liest. Bis 6000 Zeichen je Seite; Tastenkürzel wie Strg+Z, Strg+Y und Strg+S

Bilder

• .tga- oder .blp-Dateien in Interface\AddOns\GuildArmory_Handbook\Pictures\ legen und mit dem Bild-Knopf einfügen
• Das erste Bild eines Zettels hängt klein auf seiner Karte
• An die Gilde geht nur eine Textzeile – alle brauchen dieselben Dateien im Ordner Pictures; das Spiel sieht neue Dateien nach einem Neustart

Für die ganze Gilde

• Offiziere bearbeiten das Handbuch im Spiel; wer darf, richtet sich nach dem Gildenrang, und der Gildenmeister entscheidet
• Alle in der Gilde bekommen automatisch den neuesten Stand – keine Website, kein Account
• Jede Gilde schreibt ihr eigenes: Das Plugin kommt leer

Erst ausprobieren

• /handbook demo legt Beispielzettel ans Brett – nur auf deinem Bildschirm, nie gespeichert oder gesendet; derselbe Befehl beendet es
