Guides Forever adds a top ruler and a left ruler while Edit Mode is open, so you can line up frames by screen pixels. Drag out of a ruler to place a guide. Guides stay where you put them, including across reloads, and they sit on the same screen pixel when you change the UI scale.
The Guides panel sits beside the Edit Mode window.
- Enable turns the addon on or off.
- Rulers and Guides show or hide each layer.
- Magnetic snaps a guide to the nearest major ruler mark when you drag it close.
- Screen counts pixels from the top-left, with Y increasing downward.
- Center counts pixels from the middle of the UI, with Y increasing upward. Positions left of or below center are negative.
- Color sets the guide color.
Switching between Screen and Center only changes the numbers you see. The guides do not move.
Drag a guide to reposition it. A readout follows the cursor. Drag a guide back onto its ruler to remove it. Right-click a guide to edit its coordinate or delete it. Double-click a guide to type a coordinate, then press Enter to place it or Escape to cancel.
