Guidelime
A WoW Classic addon for leveling guides with automatic progress updates
What does it do?
Guides are shown as a list of steps where the progress is updated automatically as much as possible (quests picked up / completed, quest items looted / mobs killed, etc). Only for some steps completion has to be confirmed manually (such as resupplying, getting new skills, etc). Locations referenced in the guide are shown on the map and minimap. Also there is an arrow pointing in the direction of the next step.
The addon comes with an editor so even if your favorite guide is not included in the available guides which can be installed as separate modules (see https://github.com/max-ri/Guidelime/wiki/GuideList), it is very easy to create your own guides or to import a guide.
For more information: see https://github.com/max-ri/Guidelime
How do I open the window again after I closed it accidentally?
Type /lime or go to Interface Options, AddOns, Guidelime, Options and click on show window.

Thanks for reporting. Will be fixed soon. Sorry for having to wait so long for an update.
Well I have the arrow working, but when downloading with Twitch, the download doesn't work properly. You can't find Guidelime on the Twitch app. It is only on th website.
The arrow is not showing up on my screen. I am playing Classic - does that have something to do with it?
Hi,
I installed addon guildlime and then the a guide https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/guidelime_ahmp
But this guide is a 12-20 darkshore/ashenvale on the other continent.. since I roled a Dwarf, does this means i can just level around Ironforge till 12 and then pop myself in the boat to Auberdine ?
Im asking/wondering if this was a nightelf guide.. But guide addon description only ays "It contains a complete 1-60 Alliance guide created by ahmp." so i guess i can still use it the way I mentioned ?
Thanks,
Budha
Hi, I'm not sure what's causing the interaction between the two addons and it's difficult to reproduce - but when Guidelime and GatherMate2 are both enabled the tracking for various professions causes the golden node indicators on the mini map to completely disappear randomly or not appear at all.
Guidelime has stopped working randomly for me, I hadn't updated any other addons or anything I just logged in and it stopped showing even after deleting and reinstalling the addons multiple times both in the twich app and in the Interface files themselves. Any ideas as to why this may be happening?
you think you'd include where to install the fu$$@#@#$ guidelists......literally can't find it anywhere. Like do you people think or?
In reply to webcamdave:
it's literally in the description.... like can you read or......?
I'm using the addon for an hunter alt, currently lv 34, since some time/levels the arrow disappeared and the auto-accept and completion feature stopped working
(the quest list seems to be working fine though) - i remember a similar thing happening with AAP.
Hello,Guidelime is not compatible with Leatrix Plus (Enhance quest log function).
Please see the response from the author of Leatrix Plus.

In reply to swetlover:
Thanks for your message. This has been fixed in the newest version 1.038.
When neither show suggested quest levels nor show quest ids is enabled the quest log will remain untouched, so there is no interfering with other addons.
Also for dungeon / raid / elite quests D/R/+ now is added to the quest levels.
Displaying information in the quest log is a new feature of Guidelime and also still work in progress. Expect to see more here in upcoming updates. (Everything optional of course so that other addons may still be used.)
In reply to rickrob:
Thank you very much for the quick fix.
So I picked the "45-47 Tanaris, Hinterlands" guide.. Did a couple of steps..
"Grind in Zul'Farrak till level 48"
MIND..... BLOWN...! This guide is so amazing! It even goes out of its way to give you this additional step right after doing a few objectives!
And wait.. THERE'S MORE!
When I scroll down I see a pile of quests/steps to do. Just WOW! They should have named it "45-48"!
Seriously though. Could you re-do the 45-47 guide? Because telling someone to grind 3 levels and then having them do a bunch of quests afterwards is ridiculous.
Previous guides were alright but this one.. I just don't know if the person that wrote this went "F*ck it, I give up" and started writing weird stuff in it but it's quite bizarre.
In reply to Forge_User_63822494:
I am not the author of that guide.
Maybe it is simply a typo and it should be grind until level 46. Would make a bit more sense i think. But i am only guessing since i am not the author.
I am forwarding this to TUGs.
Hi, good addon, thank's for this =)
i have just a idea to submit for optimise travel... it's possible tu draw a line on map to define the next travel/obj. i think it's usefull when have other addons drawing other infos on the map... ;)
