I got tired of this addon always saying it had an update and so switched to another... however now the CurseForge app displays a error after telling me this has been been deleted and its STILL installed.
Now that Twitch client is uninstalled since its not working, the Curse/Overwolf client is also saying it does not want to update this. Trying to do so gives you an error "An error has occurred. Please check your connection and try again." message.
Latest update installs 4 versions and make the client keep requesting to update. Have uninstalled and reinstalled and specifically selected the version to install and the 4 latest versions are listed as "Installed". Same thing occurs when selecting any of the 4 latest versions, all four versions install confusing the twitch app on version installed.
This is still happening, four versions are installed dated 9/25/19, 1/15/20, 8/13/20, 10/13/20. it does remove the gryphons for me but the twitch app insists that there is a "new" download at all times that just reinstalls the same 4 versions.
I'm still thinking your naming convention that were consistant up to 7.3.0 worked. the 9.0.1 could be confusing the client as there is both a beta and a release named the same thing ie. "9.0.1".
Edit:
I would rather named the file "GryphonsRemover-r26.zip" and when uploading not put anything in the "Name" field and the filename will be placed in the name field instead. Just my best guess why I also gets the same result as many others. your addon pops up constantly in twitch client despite updating it.
Todays update seemed to have broken it. I reverted back to yesterdays update.

As usual i checked the addon to work, it does :)
But after i updated via client, for whatever reason the retail version got "updated" to a MoP Beta version...
It seems that CurseForge/Overwolf has some issues again.
So i would ask you to install it manually. The only change i made was a toc number change.

I updated again today and its working. Thanks
I need to hide the left gryphon, but keep the right gryphon.
Is this possible?
Edit: Oh, well, okay. Just replase Hide with Show in your script.
use this command:
/run MainMenuBarArtFrame.LeftEndCap:Hide();MainMenuBarArtFrame.RightEndCap:Hide()
you can save it as a macro for future use
In reply to Tanisll:
Yes, you can do that. But the reason for this addon is to not have to do this every time you log in ;)

Sadly, this does nothing for me. I don't use any other addon that touches the action bar.

What is the reason this has to be updated damn near every day?

The last version i uploaded was on october 13. So its twitch that is messed up. Maybe try another updater like wowup or ajour.

I guess that the servers are currently overloaded which is messing things up...
In reply to tehKD:
I think it worked better when you named the release "rNN" instead of 9.0.1.
Personally I never name the upload on curse and just put my version number in the filename ie. "MyAwesomeFile-1.0.0.zip"

I deleted the beta file. I hope that this will help you guys, but i really doubt it.
I don't think that it has anything todo with the naming... Everything was fine until patch 9.0.1.
And i have a couple of addons that do the same thing over and over again to me, like dbm, classic castbars, suf etc.
So it's not just this addon.
No Shadowland PTR.Addon stopped removing griffins in version 8.3
