Grimoire of Insight 

Grimoire of Insight is a companion addon for the Grimoire of Insight desktop application — a roster management tool built for Raid, Mythic+, and Guild leaders. The addon allows you to capture any player's character name and realm directly from within the game and pass it to the desktop app, which then pulls live data from the Blizzard, Raider.IO, and Warcraft Logs APIs.

What It Does

The addon adds a simple copy popup that generates a character string (Name-Realm) for any player you target or select. That string is pasted directly into the Grimoire of Insight desktop app, which retrieves the character's equipped item level, gear slot enchants, gem sockets, tier set bonus status, raid progression, and Warcraft Logs best average parse — all displayed in a clean roster view alongside the rest of your team.

Commands

  /grim — Opens a copy popup for your current target
  /grim p — Collects all members of your current party for bulk import
  /grim r — Collects all members of your current raid (up to 40) for bulk import
  /grim help — Prints the command list to chat

You can also right-click any player portrait and select Send to Grimoire from the context menu — no need to target them first.

Requirements

This addon requires the Grimoire of Insight desktop application to be installed and running on your PC. The addon itself does not display any gear or progression data in-game — it is purely a character capture and export tool.
