Gorgi's 4HM Heals Addon

Gorgi's 4HM Heals is a World of Warcraft Classic Era addon designed specifically for the Warriors of Sunlight healers to assist with our pre-planned tactics for the Four Horsemen encounter in Naxxramas. Other healers are welcome to use this addon, but it will only be effective if they follow the same tactics. This addon is not useful for non-healing classes (Priests, Druids, Paladins, or Shamans only).

Purpose

This addon assists healers in navigating the complex movement mechanics of the Four Horsemen encounter by providing clear, timed prompts to run to the next boss based on the Mark debuff cycle. It ensures healers stay synchronized with the raid's strategy, even in chaotic situations, such as after an in-combat resurrection.

Supported Tactics

The addon is tailored to the Warriors of Sunlight strategy, where:

12 healers are divided into 4 groups of 3, each starting at one of the four bosses (Thane Korth'azz, Lady Blaumeux, Sir Zeliek, or Highlord Mograine).
Each healer in a group is assigned to move clockwise to the next boss on either the first, second, or third Mark debuff.
After their initial run, healers continue to move clockwise to the next boss every third Mark thereafter.
The addon continues to provide prompts even if a player dies, making it invaluable for resuming their place in the rotation after an in-combat resurrection.

Features

Run Prompts: Displays clear instructions (e.g., "Run to [Boss Name]") with a flashing red text and a raid warning sound to indicate when to move to the next boss.
Mark Tracking: Automatically detects Mark debuffs and increments a counter to trigger movement prompts every third Mark after the assigned first run Mark.
Resilience Timer: Includes a 13-second resilience timer to handle missed Mark detections, ensuring the addon stays in sync with the encounter.
Customisable Settings: Allows healers to set their starting boss and first run Mark via an options panel.
Movable UI: A draggable frame displays instructions and can be repositioned, with its location saved per character.
Test Mode: Simulates the encounter for practice, allowing healers to test the addon's prompts without being in the actual fight.
Automatic Activation: Activates automatically after defeating Gothik the Harvester, preparing healers for the Four Horsemen encounter.
Combat Resilience: Continues to function correctly even if the player dies, ensuring they can rejoin the rotation seamlessly after a resurrection.

How It Works

Setup: Open the options panel using the Options button or slash command (/g4hm options) to select your starting boss and the Mark number (1, 2, or 3) when you first run to the next boss.
Encounter Start: When the Four Horsemen encounter begins, the addon prompts you to run to your starting boss and then tracks Mark debuffs to signal when to move to the next boss (every third Mark).
Visual and Audio Cues: A flashing red text and raid warning sound alert you when it's time to run, followed by a "Stay at [Boss Name]" message after 8 seconds.
Post-Death Support: If you die and are resurrected in combat, the addon continues to track Marks and provide accurate run prompts to help you resume your role in the rotation.

Usage

Enable/Disable: The addon will automatically enable after Gothik the Harvester dies, and will automatically disable after the 4HM encounter is defeated. You can also use /g4hm show to show the main frame or /g4hm hide to hide it.
Options: Access the options panel using the Options button or /g4hm options to configure your starting boss and first run Mark.
Test Mode: Start a simulation with /g4hm test start and stop it with /g4hm test stop.
Frame Positioning: Drag the main frame to your preferred location; the position is saved automatically.
