WORKING ON FIXING FOR CATACLYM
give me a bit of time and I will sort this for 4.0.1 + I've worked out a better method for bag scanning so should also run easier. Will have to drop the dungeon tool for a bit though until I am 85 and am happy that all the dungeons etc work with it. Thanks.
Gold Per Hour
Using data the user has gathered via Auctioneer, this addon calculates the value of all items in the users bag as well as the amount of gold, it then tracks the change in this value over time. This means that, unlike other income addons, this tracks the potential income you will gain if you sell all the items you have collected for the market price on the Auction House.
For example if you are out herbing or running an instance you can see the value of the materials you have gained without either going back to the Auction House and selling them and waiting a day. Another use is to find out the best way for you to make money, you could try a few different things such as two different herbing areas and see which one gives you a better gold per hour value.
You can type the command "/gph" into chat to reopen the window.
This addon works with LibDataBroker and various display addons such as titan panel and fubar (if you also have broker2fubar). If you have Titan Panel for example you will see a GoldPerHour tab on your bar, this tab will show you your current GPH, if you hover over the tab you will also be able to see the total amount gained. This means you can close the main window of GoldPerHour and still be able to monitor your GPH.
Dungeons
A new dungeon tracker has been added, this stores all the data that is automatically recorded when you run a dungeon and works out averages for GPH and total earnings. This is a very helpful tool if you want to easily see which dungeon is likely to give you the best income.
Items
An extra window has been added, which shows a breakdown of the items you are collecting. It displays an ordered list (starting from the highest) for three different views: Total value for all the multiples of that item, Value gained per hour from each item and the percentage of the total value change that each item contributes. This can help you decide which items to focus your time on collecting.
Also it offers a suggestion what to do with each item:
- Nothing - Normally a quest item
- Vendor - Junk items, un-disenchantable soulbound items etc.
- Disenchant - Using Enchatrix information, if item is disenchantable and you have high enough enchanting skill
- Auction - Most other stuff.
It suggests the method that will give you the most money for your item.
Bugs
At the moment there are a couple of bugs I am aware of, the main ones are:
- It goes a bit strange when dealing with small (less than 1g) negative values.
Please suggest any other features that you would like me to try and include, or any bugs you have found.
