Gold Snap

Battle text for your gold

When you gain gold, the amount pops up like battle text. Coins then fly across to your gold counter. It works for corpses, quest rewards and mail, and when you loot a group of mobs at once you get one combined total instead of a pile of overlapping numbers.

Features

• Move and resize anywhere: drag the counter wherever you like. While unlocked, drag the corner grip to make it as big or as small as you want. There is no padding around the text, so it can sit right at the edge of the screen.
• Gold stats: click the counter to see gold per hour, gold this session, all-time gold on this character, and a breakdown by source (quests, looted, mail, other).
• Fully configurable: choose your font (built-in fonts plus anything from LibSharedMedia), set the popup and counter sizes, change the roll length, switch between the painted coins and the game's own coin icons, and lock the counter in place.

How to use

• Left-click the counter for stats
• Right-click the counter for options
• Drag the counter to move it, drag the corner to resize (when unlocked)
• /gsnap - opens options,
• /gsnap test - plays a test drop
• /gsnap group - plays a test group loot

Notes

• All-time stats count from the day you install the addon. Session stats reset when you reload.
• Gold from vendors, the auction house and trades is animated too and shows up as "Other" in the stats. You can switch this off in options.
• Found a bug? Type `/gsnap debug`, repeat what you did, and include any Lua error text in your report.
