GoblinLedger is the price tracker for World of Warcraft: Forever's fresh economy. No one knows what anything is worth yet — GoblinLedger fixes that. The addon scans the Auction House, and the companion website turns everyone's scans into live market data.

How it works Install the addon and open the Auction House. Hit Scan Auction House (or type /gl). The addon walks the AH class by class, throttled to be polite to the server. Hit Copy Scan Data, then paste it at forevermarket.pages.dev/import — or use the tiny open-source uploader script and your scans upload automatically every time you /reload. Your scan joins the community dataset within minutes. Everyone sees the updated market. In-game price tooltips Run the optional uploader script and the addon downloads the latest market medians — then every item tooltip in-game shows the GoblinLedger median price. Know what it's worth before you list it.

Privacy The addon sends item IDs, minimum prices, and quantities — that's it. No character names, no account info. Your uploader gets a random ID stored on your device so you keep the same goblin name on the leaderboard. The website logs standard web data (IP address, browser, country) for abuse prevention — IPs are never published.

Installation Download the latest GoblinLedger-v134.zip from the Files tab. Extract it into your WoW Forever Interface\AddOns\ folder, so you have Interface\AddOns\GoblinLedger\GoblinLedger.toc. Restart WoW fully (not just /reload). At character select, click MENU → AddOns and confirm GoblinLedger is enabled. Open the Auction House in-game — the scanner panel opens automatically. Does it auto-scan? No — every scan is one click by you. Blizzard requires human input for each action, and we respect that.

Why is the scan throttled? The AH API rate-limits queries. We pace ourselves so we don't lag the AH for everyone.

Is my data public? Scan prices are aggregated into community medians — nobody sees your listings or your name.

Does it work without the website? Yes — scanning and tooltips (with the uploader) work fully in-game. The website is where the history, deals, and crafting tools live.
