What's new
Glowing Bars 1.1.0
New
- Paladin seals: a new reminder type, Missing seal, with a gold glow. In a fight with no seal up, the seal you used last glows. The game hides your auras in combat, so a seal counts for 30 seconds from your cast. Nothing glows before you have used a seal. Seals the addon doesn't know (new seals of Forever) can be added by their ID.
- Swift Judgement is on the paladin's cooldown list. Its cooldown starts with your next Judgement, however long you wait.
- Action bar switches: each of the eight action bars can be turned off on the Settings page, e.g. to keep the glow on a bar of cooldowns next to your character only.
- Glow at the start of a fight (optional, off by default): every ready cooldown glows as a fight starts, as a reminder to use it (Berserking, Recklessness...).
- Spell IDs in the table (
/gb):- Every spell shows its ID. You can change the ID of a listed spell if the game uses another one, e.g. after a patch the addon hasn't caught up with.
- Add your own spells by ID at the end of the table, as any type except old rank. If the game says the type is wrong (a "cooldown" with no cooldown, a "low reagent" with no reagent), the spell is refused, or added as the right type.
- Mistakes show as a red message on the screen.
- Tooltips on the ID boxes say what they're for.
- Enabled column in the table: turn a whole reminder type, or a single spell, on or off. The Settings page now only has the general settings: the action bars, party buffs, the weapon buff to keep up and when cooldowns glow. Your existing on/off choices are kept.
Changed
- Plainer wording in the whole addon.
- The table's columns are centered under their headers. The window has a margin on the left, and the Reset and X column only takes up room while a row shows one of those buttons.
Fixed
- A spell on more than one action bar now glows on all of them right after login. It could miss the bars the game loaded last.
- A group buff whose ranks use different reagents now has a row for each reagent in the table (Prayer of Fortitude with Holy Candle and with Sacred Candle), so each can be styled and switched on its own.
- A buff you cancel in a fight now glows again when the game shows your auras. Before, the addon kept trusting its memory of the buff until its time ran out.
