GLogger 1.3.1
What's new
GLogger Version 1.3.1 Changelog
New Features & Enhancements
Data Management - Prune Your Logs Instead of Wiping Them: Mail, Trade, Warband and XP Sessions prune by age (3, 6, 12, 24 or 36 months), M+ prunes by season, and XP Log prunes by level, each on the axis its data actually uses. Nothing prunes automatically, there's no timer and no login hook, full history remains the default and every deletion is something you press a button for. XP Sessions also clears its competition-data copies, which previously outlived the sessions they mirrored.
One Consistent Delete Data Dialog: All six logs now open the same window, prune options at the top, a divider, then the clear options below, ordered narrowest to widest. Every button shows its live count, computed by the same rule that performs the deletion, so the number can never describe a different set from what actually goes. Account-wide clears need two presses within a 5 second window and disarm themselves if you do anything else or close the window. Undated rows are never deleted, they're reported and kept. Only one dialog can be open at a time, and each one sizes itself from its contents so longer translations get the room they need.
TradeSkillMaster Import: GLogger can now import your TradeSkillMaster history alongside the existing Boosting Tools and SalesTools imports. Choose how far back to go, see exactly what will come across and what won't and why before committing, watch progress as it runs, and stop it at any point. It's repeatable, run it again next month and it takes only what's new. Vendor sales, postage, repairs and garrison income are deliberately left behind, stated on screen with counts and reasons rather than silently dropped.
See Where Every Imported Row Came From: Imported rows now render in teal, hovering one names the addon it came from, a new "Imported only" filter isolates them (with the totals line becoming their subtotal), and exports carry a
Fromcolumn showingBT,STorTSM. Migrated rows are also more complete than before, trade location, source row IDs and mail attachments were all silently dropped by the old importer and are now carried across.Battle Resurrections Are Now Held, Not Dropped: A rez arriving mid-fight used to be ignored and forgotten. It's now kept and offered back to you the moment the fight ends, giving up on a wipe or after roughly 50 seconds. A countdown appears before any auto-accept, 3 seconds, pausing on mouse-over, with Accept Now and Not Now buttons, replacing the old blind 1.5 second timer you had no way to interrupt. Not Now simply leaves the rez there for you to take by hand, it never declines it for you. The setting itself is now honestly named, "Wait until my group is out of combat" instead of the misleading "Out of combat only", with a description explaining why your character is never "in combat" while dead.
Technical Refinements & Data Accuracy
M+ Join Alerts Are Party-Only and Fire Once: "X joined the group with N Likes on N runs" no longer appears in raids, Raid Finder, battlegrounds or arenas, where a player going offline, changing subgroup, the roster reshuffling, or a simple
/reloadcould all trigger it with nobody actually joining. It still appears where it was built for, in a party, out in the world or in a 5-man. It now fires once per person per group, so someone disconnecting and reconnecting isn't announced twice, and it only forgets when you leave the group. Rapid group changes used to fire the check several times in a burst, it now settles for a second and runs once.Realms With a Hyphen or a Period in Their Name: Azjol-Nerub being the obvious one, players there were being filed under two different spellings, so their shared-run count and Likes could come back blank or attach to the wrong person. That's corrected, and history saved under the old spelling is still found, so nobody loses their run counts. The same class of bug was also breaking Raider.IO profile links,
Aerie Peakwas producing a deadaeriepeakURL, hyphenated realms were doubly broken. Realm handling has been audited end to end across Mass Invite, chat/inv, macros, Bulk Mail, Battle.net auto-invite, NameGrabber and Extended Info.A Closed AH Log Now Costs Nothing: A user with a large mail log was hitting repeated
script ran too longerrors while looting, mid-combat. Every scanner that learned a new item link was rebuilding the entire auction ledger from the entire mail log, even with the AH Log window closed, and looting fired that on every single loot window. Closed, it now costs nothing at all, so that crash path is structurally impossible rather than merely less likely. Open, it does one combined rebuild per half-second burst. All ten learners route through it, loot, merchant, banks, containers, professions, wardrobe, journal, repair and both tooltip paths.Faster AH Log, Faster Right-Clicks: Opening the AH Log tab went from three full rebuilds to one, two were redundant and a third was a phantom the search box scheduled by reacting to its own automatic clear. Searching no longer re-walks the whole mail log on every keystroke. Right-clicking a player no longer walks the mail log and the trade log just to produce two numbers for the menu, one shared pass now answers for everyone, so inspecting twenty people costs one walk rather than twenty.
M+ Run Details Date No Longer Overflows:
Date: Thursday, August 06, 2026, 16:04ran past the edge of the details panel and got clipped on the default UI font. It now readsDate: 26-08-06 16:04, which fits with room to spare at any font, UI scale or locale including CJK clients, and matches the Date column in the run history exactly rather than being the one place in the addon using a different format. Hover the date for the full localized version, nothing was lost, it just moved to hover. The Console Stays Open: Right-clicking a player and picking their Mail, Trade or M+ history used to close the GLogger window if you were already on that tab. Only the X in the top-right closes the console now. Slash commands, the minimap menu, sidebar buttons, context-menu history links and the mailbox's Mail Log button all just switch you to the right page, and an already-open window stays exactly where you dragged it instead of snapping back to screen-centre on every tab change. Opening a module while the console is minimised now properly expands it.
Right-Click History Is Accurate Again: Some Battle.net friends were producing a search for just a realm,
-Barthilas,-Dreadmaul, which returned hundreds of rows belonging to your own characters and showed invented gold totals in the menu itself. Midnight 12.0.7 reduced Battle.net presence data so many friends' sessions no longer expose a character name, and GLogger was turning "no name" into "everyone on that realm". Now no name resolved means no history entries, you get Copy BattleTag instead of a wrong answer, and GLogger digs harder first by checking every game account a friend has rather than only their primary session, so friends who previously failed to resolve now succeed.Blizzard's Settings Panel Mirrors GLogger Live: It was previously showing a snapshot taken at login. Search also now returns a page's controls when you type the page name ("Goblin Log"), which previously returned nothing at all, excludes controls that are contextually hidden, and separates results with horizontal rules so half-width controls stop sharing a row and colliding.
Bug Fixes & Technical Stability
Clicking a Cyan Copyable Cell Did Nothing: Clicking the Date or Dungeon cell in the M+ history highlighted the row but left the details panel showing the previous run, you had to click a second column to see the right data. Clicking the already-selected row's Date cell dropped the highlight without changing anything, and the next click blanked the panel entirely. A click anywhere on the row now does the same thing. This affected the M+ Log run history and analytics table, the Goblin Log breakdown, and both the M+ Boost Log and XP Boost Log booster tables. Right-click copy is unchanged, and hovering a copyable column now also shows the row's tooltip, which it previously swallowed.
M+ "Clear All" Only Cleared the Selected Season: The label promised more than it delivered and there was no way to wipe every season. Worse, runs stored under seasons the UI no longer lists were both invisible and undeletable, they can now be pruned by season, including those orphaned ones.
Balance List's Warband Auto-Tracking Disabled Itself: On its very first automatic adjustment, because the sync path was firing the same handler that latches manual control.
Master Reset Skipped Two Settings: Goblin Log and Balance List's "Include Guild Banks" were only reset as a side effect of unticking a checkbox, so on any character that had never opened those windows they survived a full reset untouched.
Add Character Override Was Missing on Fresh Accounts: An empty computed dropdown vanished from Blizzard's settings panel for the rest of the session.
WIM Battle.net Whispers Opened the Wrong Player: Right-clicking a Battle.net whisper name in WIM and choosing Extended Target Info could open a completely unrelated friend, for roughly the first 1100 chat lines of every session. Far more often it did something quieter and harder to spot, showing the correct character carrying a stranger's BattleTag, which was happening on most early-session WIM right-clicks. Both are fixed. The malformed link is WIM's, GLogger now defends against it rather than trusting it.
Phantom Extended Info Windows and a Blocked-Action Error: Copying a name from the chat right-click menu could, ten seconds later with no apparent cause, open the Extended Info window by itself and drop a
SendWho()blocked-action error into your error handler. Pressing Escape to dismiss the copy popup opened a window instead of closing things, copying a second name while the first popup was up spawned a window for the first person, and any other addon's popup appearing over GLogger's did the same. Once an error had occurred, GLogger silently held a/who"pending" forever, so the next time you typed/whoyourself it ate the result and closed the Who window on you. All of that is gone, the Extended button still works exactly as before.Extended, Copy Name, Copy BTag and Raider.IO Act on Who You Clicked: They were operating on your current target rather than the person whose name you'd right-clicked.
Battle.net Lookups Errored Inside Keystones and PvP: GLogger's Battle.net name lookups could throw Lua errors inside M+ keys, PvP matches and in-progress encounters, where those fields become protected values.
Drill-Downs Filled the Search Box Without Running the Search: Clicking an AH Log row to jump to the Mail Log, and the same jumps from the Goblin Log breakdown into Mail and Trade Log, put the text in the box but never actually filtered.
M+ Rating Log Note Fixes: Clicking a player's note in the right-click menu now opens the M+ Rating Log filtered to that character, it previously landed on the M+ Log run history. The note is not auto-loaded for editing, so there's no risk of overwriting it by accident. And a data-loss risk is closed, opening a note to read it, switching tabs and coming back left that note still selected in the editor, where one click of the clear button would delete it outright with no confirmation. The editor now starts empty every time.
Dialog and Layout Fixes: The M+ dungeon teleport buttons no longer draw over delete confirmations, dropdown lists no longer open behind buttons, dialogs no longer stack into an unreadable pile, the X button's tooltip is now visible on all six clear-log dialogs, and the Warband Log's Settings button now goes to the right page. Also fixed, a confirmation button that was rendering its own internal key name, and "1 entries" grammar.
Localisation: Every new string is translated across all 12 locales with argument order verified, a mistake caught pre-release in Korean and both Chinese variants would otherwise have thrown a format error the moment those users opened a delete dialog. A separate fix covers players who change client language or import a database collected under another one, GLogger now recognises every "multiple buyers" marker it has ever written in any of the 12 languages, so those rows no longer surface an untranslated marker as if it were a player name. All genuinely orphaned locale keys have been removed.
