GLogger 1.3.0
What's new
GLogger Version 1.3.0 Changelog
New Features & Enhancements
Right-Click to Copy - Anywhere in GLogger: Right-click any meaningful piece of data and copy it. A compact box appears at your cursor with the value already selected, hit Ctrl+C and it's yours; Escape or a click elsewhere dismisses it. Hovering a copyable field washes its background faint cyan so you can see what's available without hunting.
Goblin Log - Custom Date Ranges with a Calendar Picker: Click the date heading above the chart, or the new Custom button in the range column, to open a calendar. Click a start day, then an end day, or type directly into the Start/End boxes (
2026-04-05), the calendar and the boxes stay in step with each other. Only days you actually have data for are selectable and you can't pick into the future. Long ranges stay readable, up to about three months you get one bar per day as before, beyond that bars automatically become weeks, and past two years, months, so "the last 18 months" is a chart you can read rather than 550 hairlines. The ‹ › arrows page a custom range by its own length, pick a fortnight and each click steps back a fortnight. All new calendar labels are translated across every locale.Countdown Toasts for Invites, Party Sync and M+ Rating: With Auto-Accept Incoming Invites on, invites used to be accepted silently 1.5 seconds after arriving with no warning and no way to stop it. Now a centred toast names who invited you and counts down from 5.00 seconds in hundredths. Do nothing and it accepts at zero (AFK behaviour is unchanged, just visible), hover and the countdown freezes and says so, or hit Accept Now / Decline to resolve it yourself, declining is now possible without hunting for Blizzard's popup. Party Sync got the same treatment plus a Decline button it never had, naming the party leader and sending a proper refusal, and it closes itself if the session starts or is torn down without you. The M+ rating toast was rebuilt to match, with Rate Now / Dismiss. All three carry the GLogger mark bottom-right and stack downward from centre if more than one fires at once, instead of landing on top of each other.
Auto-Release Spirit and Auto-Confirm Spirit Healer: Two new opt-in settings under Auto Invite → Death & Resurrection, both off by default and explicitly seeded off for existing users, so the first login after patching behaves identically to the last one before it. Auto-Release Spirit releases you automatically on death, with an Auto-Release Locations scope dropdown, Open world only (default), Battlegrounds and arenas only, or Everywhere except dungeons and raids. Auto-Confirm Spirit Healer resolves the spirit healer's confirmation window for you.
Add BattleTag Friend from the Right-Click Menu: The Extended Info menu can now send a Battle.net friend request to a player whose BattleTag you don't have, using Blizzard's own
BNCheckBattleTagInviteToUnitpath, the same mechanism behind Blizzard's native unit menu entry. Because it resolves the player server-side from a live unit token, the entry is enabled whenever they're targeted, grouped with you, or nearby, and greys out with a clear explanation otherwise (no live unit, Battle.net disconnected, no BattleTag of your own, or already a Battle.net friend). Blizzard's own confirmation still gates the actual request, so consent stays with you.Bulk Mail Sender - Stop and Resume a Batch: During a send the main button becomes a red "Stop Sending" you can click at any time. It can only halt, never re-send, so it cannot double up gold, and a short settle delay makes sure any genuinely in-flight mail is counted before the halt finalises. Afterwards a green "Continue Sending (N)" resumes with only the unsent mail, anything already Sent (anything with a Mail ID) is never sent twice. On stop, sent lines are removed from the input box automatically, so an accidental double-send is impossible, and the input box unlocks so you can trim the remainder.
Bulk Mail Sender - Live Dashboard: Send Mail (N) shows how many mails are queued before you commit, and Mails Queued, Total to Send, Gold in Bags and Remaining/Shortfall now all tick down in real time as each mail sends instead of freezing at the batch totals. Gold in Bags also reacts to money arriving or leaving from any source while the window is open.
Bulk Mail Sender - Window Scale Button: The Bulk Mail Sender now carries the same 100%/75% scale toggle as the main console, the same 20x20 button with a chevron pointing down to shrink and up to grow, the same "Window Scale" tooltip, sitting immediately left of the X in the top-right corner. Your choice is remembered account-wide and applies next time the window opens, and it has its own setting, so shrinking the mail sender doesn't shrink the console.
Mass Invite - Paste Anything: Mass Invite now ignores everything that isn't a real
Name-Realm. Paste whatever you copied, faction headers, section titles, bullets, numbering, chat noise, and only actual character entries get invited, soAllianceandHordeheader lines no longer become phantom invites toAlliance-Tichondrius. Entries work with or without/invor/invite.
Technical Refinements & Data Accuracy
Search Results Are Newest-First Again: Mail, Trade, Warband, XP Boost sessions, Notes and Balance were rendering in raw insertion order, effectively oldest-first, because the "newest first" default was declared but never actually ran. It runs now. Reopening a panel also correctly returns to newest-first, in Notes and Balance the reset was silently failing whenever you'd previously clicked a different column header, with the old selection still winning.
Your Sort Survives Searching: The order used to be rebuilt or lost on every keystroke and every filter toggle. Now whatever column you're sorted by stays put while you type, tick filters, delete rows or import. Records sharing a timestamp, a bulk mail run or several trades in the same second, also had no defined order and reshuffled on every re-search, they now hold a stable, meaningful order. Imported and legacy records now sort correctly alongside native ones, dates were being compared as display text rather than as actual dates, so rows imported from other tools could land in the wrong place.
Column Sort Arrows Now Tell the Truth: The arrow and the actual order disagreed on roughly half the columns. Clicking a text column now gives you A→Z first rather than Z→A, and in the AH Log the wrong direction was additionally being saved between sessions, that's fixed, including for directions already stored. Trash and icon column headers are now inert, they were sortable by accident, so clicking one "sorted" by the icon's file path, cleared your real sort column and left the table in an arbitrary order.
Exports Match What's on Screen: Sort by any column, then export, and you get that exact order. Previously exports imposed their own fixed date order regardless of what you were looking at. The Balance export now respects your search and filters too, it was reading the entire database and ignoring the search box completely, so the export never matched the row count shown above it. The exported data itself is unchanged, same columns, same order, same formatting, same delimiters, so anything you've built downstream keeps working.
Goblin Log - The Two Gold Figures No Longer Run Together: Period Net above the chart is now just the period's net, on its own. The selected day's figure moved down into the breakdown panel, replacing the "Daily Breakdown" caption, so that panel's header now reads as the value on the left and its date on the right, which is what you were looking at anyway. Opening the window still lands on today, selected, as before, and a date range in that header drops the weekday names (
April 05, 2026 - April 11, 2026) so it no longer collides with the gold value.Goblin Log - Memory Stays Flat: Every redraw used to abandon its old bars and hover targets and build fresh ones, so a session spent clicking around the chart quietly accumulated thousands of stranded UI objects. They're now recycled, so memory stays flat however long you leave the window open.
GLogger and FriendGroups No Longer Double Up: Both addons ship the same four automations. GLogger now publishes an ownership claim that FriendGroups reads directly, so GLogger takes over wherever it's enabled, per feature rather than all-or-nothing. Auto-accept invites on → GLogger handles them; auto-accept invites off but sync on → FriendGroups takes invites while GLogger keeps sync; AutoInvite module disabled → FriendGroups takes all four; GLogger not installed → FriendGroups uses its own settings. Either addon standalone is unaffected, and FriendGroups additionally recognises both GLogger toasts by name as a last-resort guard, so even a broken handshake gives you one countdown, never two.
Honest Relay Messaging in Mass Invite: GLogger now only says "Routing through the relay" when there is actually an opposite-faction group member who can route it. Solo, or in an all-same-faction group, it tells you plainly that it can't instead of pretending. That "can't relay" notice is now red in the status panel and printed to chat, so you see it even with the Group Tools window closed, and it's throttled, so mashing
/invon a cross-faction target gives you one message rather than a flood.
Bug Fixes & Technical Stability
Two 12.x "Secret Value" Crashes Eliminated: Right-clicking an NPC in M+ no longer errors or collapses the menu. Marking an enemy with a raid marker in a key was throwing
numeric conversion on a secret number value (tainted by GLogger)and flattening the raid-marker submenu, the cause was GLogger stapling a Disband button onto enemy menus, mutating a menu that carries secret enemy data. GLogger now never touches NPC menus. Separately, system messages in instances no longer crash the invite tracker, the repeatingattempt to index a secret string valueerror is gone, GLogger now safely skips secret chat and error strings instead of pattern-matching them.Window Scaling No Longer Throws Windows Around: Both the console and the Bulk Mail Sender now rescale around their top-right corner, so the scale button stays under your cursor and you can click 75% → 100% → 75% without chasing it across the screen, previously the console's corner travelled roughly 157px inward on every shrink.
Goblin Log Period Buttons Work Everywhere: On 7D and 14D the right-most bar was silently swallowing clicks meant for the 7d/14d/30d/MTD buttons, you'd click the button, see the button, and nothing would happen. That dead zone is gone on every range and can't come back, the chart now measures itself against the panel instead of assuming a fixed size, so it stays inside its own box no matter how the window is laid out.
Invite Pipeline Goes Dormant in Instances: In dungeons, raids and keys, the whole invite/relay/retry pipeline now sleeps, since you can't recruit into instanced content anyway, and resumes automatically when you step out.
Large Exports No Longer Freeze the Client: The multi-second hang on a big mail or trade log export is gone.
M+ Log Character Dropdown Is Readable Again: The dungeon teleport buttons were drawing on top of the open list and covering character names. The list now opens above them.
"Jump to Trade" Scrolls to the Right Row: Opening a trade from elsewhere in the addon was scrolling to a position calculated as if the table were unsorted.
Mass Inv and Comms Tab No Longer Closes the Console: Clicking the Mass Inv and Comms sidebar button while already on that tab used to close the console window.
Balance List Character Column Copy Behaviour Changed: The Character column used to copy on left-click via a large centred popup with its own "Copy" tooltip. It now uses the same right-click copy as everywhere else, for consistency across the addon.
