GearSentry
🚧 Beta: work in progress
GearSentry is in active development alongside the WoW Forever beta. Some parts haven't been tested in every situation yet (see Known limitations in the guide), and the stat weights are sensible starting points, not simulation-perfect.
Feedback and bug reports are very welcome. Open an issue or leave a comment. If a suggestion looks wrong, include the output of
/gs evalon the item.
Never miss an upgrade again. GearSentry watches your bags, compares every weapon and armor piece with what you're wearing, and tells you when something is better. Then it equips the item with one click.
Built for World of Warcraft: Forever.
Highlights
- Upgrade pop-up with one-click Equip and Ignore.
- Tooltip line and bag arrows on upgrades, in the default bags and in BetterBags.
- Smart comparisons: both rings or trinkets, a two-hander against main hand plus off-hand, and dual wielding.
- Class-aware stat weights that understand Forever's own stats, plus your own editable weight profiles.
- Safe: never equips anything without your click, and never in combat.

About me & feedback
I've played WoW since 2007 and I'm new to making addons, so feedback of any kind is appreciated: bug reports, suggestions, or just telling me what you'd like GearSentry to do next. Open an issue or leave a comment, and I'll read it.
