What's new

0.10.0 — Choose your role, brighter upgrades, BoE prices

  • Require a deliberate DPS/Tank/Healer choice at first login, limited to class roles. Upgrade from the former damage-only policy asks once; preserve appearance settings and selected role across talent changes.
  • Use real role-specific rankings throughout comparisons, Optimize and auction searches. Tank evaluates physical survivability and shield protection; Healer evaluates healing and mana sustain. Percentages compare a single corresponding model baseline.
  • Make item arrows much larger, with a bold gold upgrade frame, bright corners and a stronger native pulse. Preserve transparent centers, pooled-button cleanup and click handling.
  • Show glowing group-roll notices only for usable upgrades with Need permission. Hide extra notices for equal, worse, restricted and missing-baseline items. Never roll automatically.
  • Show compact last-known BoE buyout prices from Auctionator or TSM DBMinBuyout, with correct coin units and a setting to hide them. Exclude known bound inventory copies and own equipped items; no scan, vendor or average-price fallback.
  • Translate all new UI/model text for every supported client language. Keep the compact native tooltip, immediate equipped comparisons and original WoW character window.
  • Document reference-model, incomplete effect/form/shield and historical-price limitations. Lua/API-mock checks are not a live-client playtest.

Validation: 27 passing suites, 1,521 behavior checks, 37 Lua 5.1 syntax checks, plus localization and visual checks. Restart WoW fully after installation and choose your role. A live-client playtest remains necessary.
