What's new

2.1.3 — Version 2: complete rewrite

Equipping

  • Smart, enchant-aware swapping: duplicate rings/trinkets land in the right slot, and items in the wrong slot are moved across.
  • Swaps happen in safe stages (weapons first), with automatic retries while items are busy and a clickable missing-item report.
  • Combat queue: sets picked in combat equip as soon as combat ends.
  • Sets equip exactly as saved, empty slots included (optional per set).
  • Undo last swap.
  • Mount gear: a set can swap on when you mount and off when you dismount.

Action-bar macros

  • Drag a set's icon onto a bar (or click Macro) for a one-click button.
  • Macros stay in sync: renamed with the set, icon changes carry over, deleted with the set. Changes asked for in combat apply after combat.

Window

  • New design: set list with status, slot grid, rename, icon picker, reorder.
  • Live view: the window shows what you're actually wearing; slots changed by hand turn amber with the set's item in the corner.
  • Edit sets by dragging items onto slots; right-click a slot to remove it; click to ignore it.
  • Right-click a set for Equip, Rename, Save current gear, Make macro, Move and Delete.
  • Opens on, and follows, the set you're wearing, whether you equip from a macro, key binding, the minimap or /gsf.
  • Esc closes only the Gear Sets window.

Everything else

  • Item tooltips show which sets an item belongs to.
  • Sets saved per character; settings account-wide.
  • GS minimap button: square-minimap aware, stays where you put it, keeps the size your button bar gives it, right-click quick-equip menu.
  • Key bindings for sets 1–10, next/previous, undo and the window.
  • New commands: /gsf next, prev, undo, rename, macro, delete, debug and /gsf <set name>.
  • All 1.x commands still work.
