# GarryMacroCreator (GMC)

**Build perfect macros in two clicks. No syntax knowledge needed.**

WoW's macro system is powerful — focus interrupts, mouseover heals, modifier keys, cast sequences — but the syntax (`/cast [@focus,harm,nodead][] ...`) scares most players away. GMC puts all of it behind a simple wizard:

1. **Pick a template** — 13 battle-tested macro types
2. **Pick your spell** — scanned straight from your spellbook (searchable list, or drag & drop)
3. **CREATE MACRO** — done. Use **GRAB & DRAG** to put it right on your action bar.

And when you're done experimenting, open **My Macros** — every macro GMC ever created, listed in one place, deletable with a single click.

## Templates

| Template | What it does |
|---|---|
| **Focus Interrupt** | Always kicks your focus target — never lose your own target again |
| **Set Focus** | Mouseover an enemy, press, it's marked. Shift = clear |
| **Focus CC Cast** | Re-sheep / re-sap your focus without switching targets |
| **Mouseover Heal** | Heal whoever your mouse is over (frames & nameplates included) |
| **Mouseover Harm** | DoT the mob under your mouse without retargeting |
| **Cast on Self** | Always casts on you |
| **Alt = Cast on Self** | Normal press = target, Alt press = yourself |
| **Shift = 2nd Spell** | Two spells on one key |
| **Two-Spell Sequence** | Press twice: spell 1, then spell 2 (castsequence) |
| **Trinkets + Spell** | Pop both trinkets + cast, one key |
| **Panic Cast** | Stop your current cast, fire the emergency spell NOW |
| **Attack + Ability** | /startattack + ability for melee |
| **Pet Attack + Spell** | Send pet + cast, one-key opener |

- Live **macro preview** you can hand-edit before saving, with a 255-character counter
- Auto-generated macro names (editable), account-wide or character-specific
- Handles tricky spell names like `Mangle (Cat)` correctly (the classic `()` rank trap)
- Same name = macro gets **updated**, not duplicated
- Open with `/gmc`, `/garrymacro`, or the minimap scroll button

## 100% legal

GMC only writes **macro text** — the same macros you could type yourself. It uses Blizzard's own macro API, makes zero combat decisions, and automates nothing. One press = one action, always by you.
