Gamble PI
Feeling lucky? Gamble PI casts Power Infusion on a completely random DPS in your raid or party.
Instead of carefully choosing your PI target (or always giving it to the same person), this addon lets you roll the dice. Press the button and a random living damage dealer gets the buff. No more favouritism — pure chance.
Features
- Casts Power Infusion on a random DPS in your current raid or party
- Automatically filters to damage dealers only (skips tanks and healers)
- Optionally skips other priests so you don’t PI a healer by accident
- Falls back to yourself if no valid DPS targets are available
- List of eligible targets updates whenever your group changes or you leave combat
- Simple slash command to check how many valid targets it currently sees
How to Use
- Install the addon and enable it.
- Create a macro and put this in it:
text
/click GamblePIButton - Drag the macro onto your action bars.
- Press it whenever you want to gamble your Power Infusion on a random DPS.
Type /gamblepi in chat to see how many valid DPS targets the addon currently detects.
Notes
- The target list is rebuilt out of combat (or when the group roster changes). It cannot freely rebuild mid-fight due to WoW’s secure environment rules.
- Range, line of sight, and dead checks still apply at the moment of the cast. If the randomly chosen player is out of range, the cast will fail.
- Multiple priests using Gamble PI can still end up stacking Power Infusion on the same person — that’s part of the gamble.
Perfect for fun guild runs, casual raids, or when you just want to see who gets the lottery win this pull.
Enjoy the gamble.
