What's new

v2.2.0

A new Arcade tab with three skill games, and Gallywix Keno.

New

  • The Arcade: a new tab of free skill games that score points only, with no Gems.
    • Each game keeps your best score.
    • In a party, everyone's best scores show alongside yours.
  • Peon Tetris (Arcade)
    • Stack falling blocks in the Durotar work yard.
    • Fill a row across to clear it; clearing several rows at once scores more.
    • Every 10 rows you level up, and blocks fall faster.
    • Hold a piece for later, and see the next three coming.
  • Cookie's Crossing (Arcade)
    • A 90-second run to guide Cookie across, collecting as many items as you can along the way.
    • Dodge mine carts, the Defias and the Shredder, then swim the river past logs and crocs.
    • Finish round 10 to become the Feast Champion (+2000).
  • Deadmines Dig (Arcade)
    • Move the symbols to line up and match 3. Matching 4 or more may leave a Powder Keg or Pickaxe.
    • Earn multipliers from matching the symbols.
    • 90 seconds on the clock; big lines put time back.
  • Gallywix Keno
    • Pick 4 to 10 numbers and watch 20 balls drop; numbers that hit are marked in red.
    • Quick Pick and auto-play.

Changes

  • Kill Gems on loot cards: when a kill drops a Gem Bag, the Gems the kill itself pays now show on their own line of the card - "+13 Gems for the kill" - instead of a small grey "+13 kill" beside the amount.

v2.1.1

A fix for Zug Zug Shuffle's jackpots.

Fixes

  • Zug Zug Shuffle jackpots outside the box: a jackpot orb that lands outside the box no longer brings the dragon or the JACKPOT WON! panel. Orbs outside the box aren't collected, so it never paid. It now lands greyed out like any other orb outside the box. Jackpot orbs inside the box and jackpot banners work as before.

v2.1.0

Restart WoW after updating - a /reload isn't enough for this one.

A new slot, Festival of Lanterns, plus start screens for every bonus, jackpot dragons, retuned slots and a minimap button.

New

  • Festival of Lanterns (High Limit slot): the Lunar Festival under a full moon.
    • Lantern Tree: 3 Coins of Ancestry start Lantern Tree Free Spins. Elune's Blessings light the tree's lanterns, and at 3, 6 and 10 lit every win pays x2, x3 then x5, with more spins. In Free Spins, each Lantern's amount flies to your winnings as a fireball.
    • Lantern Lighting: 6 or more Lanterns start it. Choose Moonlight Free Spins (all wins x2, extra Moon Wilds) or Land & Spins, where the Lanterns stay lit and every one that lands resets your respins. Light all 15 for the Grand.
    • The pandas: a panda waits at the foot of each bamboo stalk and climbs as you spin. When one reaches the top the stalk snaps and it throws its bonus onto the reels. A new panda turns up as the bamboo grows back.
    • Bets: from 1K up to 1M.
    • Help with pictures: the bonuses are explained in diagrams, a page each for the Lantern Tree, Lantern Lighting and the pandas.
  • Start screens: every slot bonus now opens with its own screen showing what each symbol does. With AUTO on, it starts itself after a short countdown.
  • Jackpot dragons: a dragon flies in to deliver every jackpot, on every slot.
  • Minimap button: left-click opens the Game Room, right-click opens Settings. Drag it around the minimap's edge, or turn it off in Settings.
  • Animated game list: game icons come alive when you hover over them.

Changes

  • Slots retuned: every slot's Free Spins and bonuses have been rebalanced. More Wilds in Free Spins means rounds win more on their own instead of leaning on the 10x minimum. Zug Zug Shuffle's Free Spins are back to x2.
  • Wins count up: the win and Won So Far amounts now roll up to each new total instead of jumping, on every slot.
  • A cleaner status line: the message above the reels stays on one line. In a bonus it shows the spins left and what you've won so far. Otherwise it shows the spin's most important news, and a bonus starting always comes first.
  • New backgrounds: Tauren Stampede plays in Mulgore, Zug Zug Shuffle in Durotar and For the Alliance! in Stormwind.
  • Ticketed Play: slots that take Bonus Buy Tickets show a ticket on their tile. Every tooltip now shows the game's Bet Size (Buy-in for poker).
  • Bonus Buy Kingdom United never pays 0: its last spin makes sure there's always something.
  • Your notifications, your size: the jackpot goblin and the loot cards each have their own size, set with the mouse wheel or the corner grip while Settings is open. The loot cards also ask to be placed the first time.
  • Leaderboard:
    • each player now shows their top 3 games by profit;
    • details sit on a dark background that reads on every theme;
    • Character Details is now a tab alongside Guild and My Party.
  • Gem Loot window now matches your theme.
  • Shorter tooltips for AUTO, Bet Tickets and Zug Zug's Bloodlust meter.

Fixes

  • Shop and Bags: the buttons along the top no longer overlap. Back is smaller there, and the page you're on is outlined in gold.
  • Festival's side panel: the right-hand bamboo steps aside while the Pays or Lantern Tree panel is open, instead of covering it.
  • Sending Gems on WoW Forever now reaches players whose realm name has a space.
  • The selected chip's ring now pulses along with the chips when you have no bet down.

v2.0.3

A quick fix for 2.0.2's bets.

Fixes

  • Your bet is remembered: the bet you leave on a game is back when you open it again, even after a /reload or logging out - on every slot, Jacks or Better, and every Cartel Twenty-One hand (side bets too).
  • High Limit keeps its own bet: each game remembers one bet for the regular table and one for High Limit. Switching between them puts that table's last bet back (or nothing, if you'd cleared it). If your Gems can't cover it any more, it's taken off.
  • Amounts no longer show 0: with no bet down, the amounts on the reels (stones, orbs, banners) and the pay table show at the chip you've picked, instead of 0.

v2.0.2

A round of fixes for 2.0, and Jacks or Better's bet brought in line with the other games.

Changes

  • Jacks or Better's new bet: Jacks or Better now bets like the other games. Click the Bet spot to stack the chip you picked (right-click takes one back), up to a table max of 5,000 (1,000,000 at High Limit), and every hand pays its multiplier times your bet. A Royal Flush at the table max pays its max-bet bonus, 800x instead of 250x.
  • A smaller paytable: Jacks or Better's paytable is down to two columns, WIN and AMOUNT, showing what each hand pays at your bet, and it sits beside the bet under the cards. The window is shorter for it.
  • No bet to start: every game now opens with nothing on the table, so no bet is ever put down for you. Switching High Limit on or off clears your bet, to be picked again with the new table's chips.
  • The chips show the way: with nothing bet, the chips glow and pulse, along with the Bet spot (and Cartel Twenty-One's Main Bet and side bets), until you place one. Betting Tickets, the tickets you hold pulse the same way.
  • Your tickets at a glance: the ticket beside the Bet now shows how many Bonus Buy Tickets you hold.

Fixes

  • Bets you can't cover come down: after a hand or spin leaves you short for the same bet, it's taken off the table, with a note to pick your chips for a new one, instead of staying up for a Deal or Spin that can't go. On the slots, AUTO stops too.
  • Cartel Twenty-One: Double Down and Split now light up as soon as you have the Gems for them, for example after opening Bags mid-hand (they stayed greyed out until your next move).
  • Info bar: an amount too wide for its box now shrinks to fit instead of spilling over.

v2.0.1

A small update to 2.0, with thanks for the early feedback.

Changes

  • Clearer tooltips: tooltips around the Game Room now say plainly what things do. Bags tell you how often they hold a Bonus Buy Ticket and that their contents are decided when they drop, the ticket bet explains how more tickets raise the multiplier, and the Leaderboard, poker tables and Deathroll read more naturally.
  • Jackpot tooltips on Zug Zug Shuffle and For the Alliance! now say the jackpots are shared by every slot machine (they named only Earthmother's Fortune).
  • Poker tables from an older version now say their host needs to update the Game Room before you can join.

v2.0.0

Restart WoW after updating - a /reload isn't enough for this one.

A big one: the Game Room gets a whole new look, a new way to find your games, Gem Bags to find out in the world, Bonus Buy Tickets for the slots, a party game for your group, and every slot reworked.

New

  • Themes: dress the Game Room your way - Goblin Casino (wood, brass and green felt - the new default), Gallywix's Vault (black and gold) or Bilgewater Ironworks (riveted iron). Pick one under Settings - Theme and it changes on the spot, Settings included. Your name and Gems now sit on a plate with your class icon.
  • A new game list: every game is a picture tile under All / Slots / Tables / Party tabs, the ones you played last first. Hover a tile to see what the game is, its command and when you last played it.
  • Gem Bags: kills and quests can now drop bags of gems - green Pouches, blue Satchels, purple Coffers and orange Chests - worth more the tougher and higher-level the content. Each one pops up as a loot card with its own sound (blue and up get a line in chat too), and a run of empty rolls guarantees something soon.
  • Open them like booster packs: your bags wait on the new Bags page (its button shows how many). Open one, or Open All, and it bursts in a shower of coins and gems on its card. Hover a bag to see exactly what it can hold - its gems and their odds, the Gems at your level, and its chance of a Bonus Buy Ticket. Bags are only ever found, never sold. Rather have them open the moment they drop? Tick Settings - Open Gem Bags as they drop.
  • Bonus Buy Tickets: play a slot's bonus straight away - no spinning for it - on Zug Zug Shuffle, Earthmother's Fortune and For the Alliance!. Four tickets, Blue, Purple, Gold and Thorium, each a bigger multiplier on the bonus. Click the ticket beside the Bet to switch to Tickets, pick yours and Spin - more tickets of one kind multiply it again, up to 10 at once.
  • The Ticket Shop: buy tickets with Gems from the Shop button - it asks you to confirm each purchase. Satchels, Coffers and Chests can hold a ticket too: the rarer the bag, the better the ticket can be.
  • Loot (or /ggr drops) shows your session and all-time totals and your last 100 drops. Gems from professions, gifts and the Starter Package come as cards too, instead of a number floating mid-screen. The cards can be moved while Settings is open, or turned off (Show Gem toasts).
  • At a glance: the game list shows how your session's going - Gems won or lost at the games, your biggest win and your loot - and the Shop and Bags pages show the tickets you hold.
  • Deathroll (party game): the classic /roll-down duel, run for your group in party or raid chat. Only the host needs the Game Room - everyone else types 1 to join and rolls with /roll as usual. It checks every roll, calls out the ones that don't count and announces the winner. Anyone in the group can start one by typing !deathroll.
  • Early Regular: if you played the Game Room before 2.0, every character on your account gets a gold star next to its name on the plate, and on the guild leaderboard.
  • Sounds everywhere: every game and screen has its own sounds - spins, wins, bonuses, jackpots and the feature music under the bonuses. Settings - Sound has a Game Room volume of its own (it uses WoW's Dialog volume, which NPC voices share).

Slots

  • Tuned for more bonuses: each slot's main bonus comes about once every 80 spins, and some bonus about once every 55. A bonus always pays at least 10x your bet - it tops up at the end if it came in under.
  • Banners for the bonus: when a bonus lands, a faction banner unrolls down each reel that brought it - Alliance blue or Horde red - before it starts.
  • One pay table for all three slots: Earthmother's Fortune, Zug Zug Shuffle and For the Alliance! pay the same for the same match and share the same Free Spins - 8 spins, every win x2 (x3 on Zug Zug), and 3 more when the coins land again.
  • For the Alliance!
    • Houses are now Hearths (hotels too).
    • The meter starts the bonus: the City, Spins and Hearth rows fill as you collect, and each row with 2 or more lights its feature when Kingdom United starts - the fuller the City and Hearth rows, the more properties and Hearths you start with. The kinds that brought the bonus always light.
    • Spins lit: +1 spin gems can land (up to 5-8 a bonus), and each Spins symbol that brought the bonus starts it as a +1 spin.
    • The gryphon: a new special event - a gryphon flies in, either as you press Spin or swooping across once the reels stop, and throws 3 City, Spins and Hearth symbols onto the reels (3 of one kind, 2 and 1, or one of each), starting Kingdom United.
    • Growing the box adds spins: 3, 2, 2, 1, 1 and 1 as it grows from 3x3 to the whole board. War drums play under the bonus.
    • Full color sets are the big prize on the lap round the board.
  • Zug Zug Shuffle
    • Bloodlust: every Shuffle orc you land fills the Bloodlust meter, and the fuller it burns the likelier it bursts - shooting orcs onto the reels and starting the Shuffle.
    • The orc's Boost: in the Red Shuffle the orc now and then steps out of his box, boosts the orbs and banners around the board (small boosts most often), and throws in a new orb and banner before going back to collect. With the Green Shuffle on too, a boost can be +1 spin instead.
    • Growing the box: it takes 5 banners for the first size, then 4, 4, 3, 3 and 3 - each size adding 3, 2, 2, 1, 1 and 1 spins. Banners grow scarcer as the box nears the whole board, so filling it is the big chase.
    • Rare big orbs: now and then an orb or banner lands worth far more than the rest - the ones that make a big board pay.
    • Shuffle orcs pop out of their squares carrying their amounts, and the special event's square is a Horde banner.
  • Earthmother's Fortune
    • The Kodo Stampede: now and then a herd of kodos charges across the reels and calls golden cows and stones onto them - sometimes the moment you press Spin, sometimes right after a cow or stone lands.
    • Bigger Totems: 50x and 100x totem sections, more golden taurens and a 100x crown at the top. Landed stones and golden cows pop out of their squares, and the totem stands on a dark panel so its values are easy to read.
  • Jackpots grow with your bet: a jackpot is counted in bets - its start plus everything it's grown - and pays that times your bet, so Mini to Grand stay well apart at every bet. Each grows up to twice its start. The jackpots start over at their starting amounts with this update.
  • Jackpot news names the machine that paid it, and a busy group won't flood you - the goblin tells you at most one Mini or Minor a minute (and how many more there were). Major and up always.

Tables

  • Cartel Twenty-One: side bets stay on the table between hands, like your main bet. After a hand, Half Bet and Double Bet sit either side of Deal, and Clear All takes every bet off. An insured hand wears a tag - INSURED, then what it paid or INSURANCE LOST (or EVEN MONEY). The hand panels show side bets and amounts more clearly.
  • Party poker (Hold 'em and Five-Finger Draw):
    • Quicker to a game: opening a table sits you at it. Join takes you straight to a table to watch; Buy-In takes a seat - right away between hands, or locked in for the next hand.
    • Re-Buy: out of chips between hands? Buy a fresh stack beside Deal Hand.
    • A tidier table and lobby: a smaller table window, and the lobby in one column with each open table on one line.
    • Everyone at the table needs 2.0: poker tables don't work with earlier versions of the Game Room. A table opened on an older version shows greyed out in the lobby, with a note that its host needs to update - ask your group to update before you deal. (Jackpots are still shared with older versions both ways.)

Settings

  • Layout 2.0 for everyone: the Legacy layout is retired - if you were still on it, you're moved to Layout 2.0.
  • Settings in groups: Look, Window, Sound, Notifications and Play & Sharing, in your theme. Settings always opens at full size, whatever your Window Size.
  • Reset Position: brings the Game Room window back to the middle of the screen.
  • Open Gem Bags as they drop: pays each bag the moment it drops, with its opening card, instead of keeping it on the Bags page.

Fixes

  • Full poker tables stay in sync: with 4 or 5 players, a hand's updates could be too long to send, and the table fell out of step. Messages between players are also paced to stay within WoW's limits, so nothing gets dropped in a busy guild or raid.
  • The Leaderboard loads when someone joins your party - their stats and yours show up straight away.
  • Hold 'em no longer gets stuck when a short-stacked blind goes all-in on the deal - the board runs out and the hand ends.
  • Your stats count each game's Gems on the right game: Cartel Twenty-One, Jacks or Better and party poker could book a payout to whichever game was on screen (switching games while the dealer finished, say).
  • WoW Forever: some events in combat no longer cause errors, and messages the game holds back during combat are sent once it lets them through instead of being lost. Steamwheedle Stakes and Five-Finger Draw are off in WoW Forever for now - tables between players on different realms couldn't connect there. They're still in Classic Era.
  • The Leaderboard says "No games played yet" for someone who hasn't played, instead of blaming an older version.
  • Opening a bigger game keeps the window on screen - it grows down when there's room, and moves up just enough when there isn't.
  • Changing Window Size keeps the window where it is - it used to slide toward the corner of the screen, sometimes off it.
  • Jacks or Better never deals the same card twice in one hand.
  • Dragging a big window no longer sticks it to the top of the screen - only the title bar has to stay on screen.
  • Poker tables: a table showing up before you've opened the game no longer causes an error.
  • Earthmother's Fortune help shows the golden cow (it said a gold stone).
  • The version number in Settings no longer shows an extra "v".

v1.12.0

Restart WoW after updating - a /reload isn't enough for this one.

Layout 2.0

  • Choose your layout: Settings now starts with Layout - Legacy / Layout 2.0. If you already play, you stay on Legacy until you switch; new players start on Layout 2.0. Pick one and press Reload to switch.
  • The info bar: a strip under your name and Gems with what matters at each game - your win and spins left on the slots, Total Bet and the point at Craps, the hand's win and bet at Jacks or Better and Cartel Twenty-One. When a bonus is playing, its spins light up gold.
  • The command row: each game's buttons in one row under the info bar - ?, Settings, High Limit, and the slots' Pays and Jackpots.
  • Less clutter on the slots: Pays and Jackpots fold away until you open them from the command row.
  • Win banners: big wins show a banner across the table that fades away on its own, instead of a window to close.

Features

  • Character Details: a new button on the Leaderboard with your own totals - Total Wagered, Total Won and Net - and a row for every game you play. Hover a game for its jackpots, bonuses and best win, or Total Won for the Gems quests, kills and professions have paid you (counted from this version). Only you can see it.
  • The slots open on your last spin instead of empty reels - or a random set if you've never played.
  • Click through the Game Room: a new setting that lets clicks on the window's empty background go through to the world behind it - handy with a low Window Transparency. Drag the window by its title bar.

Changes

  • Cartel Twenty-One has two side bets per game: Classic has Perfect Pairs and the Bust Bonus, Spanish 21 has Perfect Pairs and 21+3, and Free Bet has 21+3 and the Bust Bonus. A side bet left on a game that no longer offers it comes back to you.
  • Naga Slots is off the game list - /ggr naga still opens it.
  • Smaller Game Room: Window Size in Settings now goes down to 40% (was 60%). The Settings window itself stays at 60% or more.

Fixes

  • The Leaderboard no longer opens blank the first time.
  • Jacks or Better always pays at the bet you dealt.

v1.11.0

Restart WoW after updating - a /reload isn't enough for this one.

New Game

  • For the Alliance! (/ggr fta): a 5-reel, 20-line slot in Stormwind blue and gold, with a gryphon Wild and gold coins for Free Spins. Every City, Spins and House you land is collected, and any spin that lands one can set off Kingdom United, lighting up what it brought: properties to start with, extra spins, or houses.
    • Kingdom United: the reels become an 8x8 grid inside a board of Alliance towns. Collect Sapphires to grow the Major's box, and the properties, houses and hotels that land inside it to earn Gems.
    • Round the board: at the end of the bonus, the token goes round the board and every property you own pays - complete a color set and the whole set pays x2. Open the portals and professions, catch the Darkmoon Faire for a hold & spin where filling every reel wins the Maxi, and collect GO to spin the GO wheel for an amount or a jackpot - even the Grand.
    • The special event: now and then the Major chases a goblin across the reels, and the bonus can come on its own.
    • Its jackpots are shared with Earthmother's Fortune and Zug Zug Shuffle.

Features

  • Your bonus survives a /reload: a /reload, disconnect or crash in the middle of a bonus no longer loses it. Open the machine again and it picks up right where it stopped - Free Spins, Bonus Spins, the Tauren Stampede and its Totem Spins, the Shuffle, Kingdom United, Naga's Hoard. A spin that was still playing out plays again from the start, landing exactly the same way, and a jackpot it won is never lost or paid twice. Chat tells you at login when a bonus is waiting.
  • Your table is kept too: chips on the Craps table (and the point) stay put until you come back, and dice already in the air land the same roll. A dealt Jacks or Better hand comes back for you to draw, and a Cartel Twenty-One hand in play comes back right where you left it.
  • See how you play each game: on the Leaderboard, click a player to open their games under their name - rounds played, Gems wagered and won, net, return, win rate, best win, bonuses, jackpots and when they last played. Hover a game for the details. Players on older versions show their usual stats, without the breakdown.
  • Turn off jackpot news: a new setting, "Jackpot news from the goblin", stops the goblin from popping up when someone in your group lands a jackpot. It's on by default.

Changes

  • More Gems for playing WoW: quests pay five times as much, kills four and a half times, and profession skill-ups, crafting and gathering three times. Crafting and gathering now earn up to 900 Gems an hour (was 300). Tougher kills pay more on top: green mobs x1.5, yellow x2, orange x2.5, red x3.
  • Orc Orc Shuffle is now Zug Zug Shuffle. Same game, new name - /ggr zug opens it, and /ggr orc and /ggr shuffle still work.
  • The Blue Shuffle is now the Green Shuffle, with a green banner and brazier.

v1.9.0

Restart WoW after updating - a /reload isn't enough for this one.

New Game

  • Orc Orc Shuffle: a 5-reel, 20-line slot with a charging boar as the Wild and iron coins for Free Spins. Land 3 Shuffle orcs to start The Shuffle: the reels grow to 8 tall and an orc guards a box that collects every Gem landing inside it. Grab banners to grow the box and earn more spins. A red orc lights the Boosts brazier (Gems worth extra), a blue one the Spins brazier (Gems worth extra spins) - get lucky and both light at once. Now and then an orc chases a boar across the screen and the Dancing Orc lands, making the Shuffle easier to hit. Its jackpots are shared with Earthmother's Fortune.

Features

  • New help for every game: the ? button now shows short, picture-based pages - the real symbols, cards, dice and hands, with what they pay at your bet - instead of long blocks of text. Use Prev and Next to page through them.
  • Place the jackpot goblin: until you've moved him, the goblin who brings your group's jackpot news shows up highlighted when you open the Game Room - drag him where you'd like him, or right-click to keep his spot. While Settings is open he's highlighted where he stands, so you can move him any time.
  • Auto-spin plays the Tauren Stampede: in Earthmother's Fortune, auto-spin now presses the Stampede's respins and Totem Spins for you, then carries on spinning once it pays.

v1.8.0

Features

  • Gems for professions: crafting and gathering now earn Gems. Every craft pays (more for orange and yellow recipes than green, and a little for grey ones), every fish, herb, skin and ore pays too, and every skill point you gain pays more, growing as your skill climbs. Most also have a chance at a lucky bonus, shown as "+ BONUS" next to the Gems you gain. Crafting and gathering earn up to 300 Gems an hour; skill points have no limit.
  • Combat-safe is now opt-in: the Game Room no longer closes for combat unless you turn on "Close while in combat & reopen after" in Settings.

Bug Fixes

  • The Settings button no longer covers your Gems total on the game list.

v1.7.1

Features

  • Combat-safe: the Game Room closes the moment you enter combat and opens again, right where you left it, once the fight's over. It won't open mid-fight, and no win popups or jackpot announcements interrupt a fight either. Auto-spin in Earthmother's Fortune pauses for the fight and picks up again after. To keep the Game Room open through fights instead, uncheck "Close while in combat & reopen after" in Settings.
  • Open on flight paths: a new setting (off by default) opens the Game Room when you take a flight path, and closes it again when you land.
  • Starter Package: every character gets 2,000 Gems from Gallywix, once - the first time you open the Game Room after updating.

v1.7.0

Restart WoW after updating - a /reload isn't enough for this one.

New Game

  • Free Bet Blackjack: a third way to play Cartel Twenty-One. Doubling on 9, 10 or 11 and splitting any pair (except 10s) is free - the house puts up the extra bet and you're paid on all of it. The catch: when the dealer ends on 22, every hand still standing pushes.

Features

  • Bonus Spins are announced in big letters across the reels - when they start, and when 3 more gold coins add spins.
  • New logos for all three blackjack games, and a new icon in the game list.
  • Side bets this round: see what all your side bets won or lost together, across every hand.

Bug Fixes

  • The Game Room window no longer covers everything: your bags, map, character windows and action bars can now sit over it. Click it to bring it to the front.
  • Your Bonus Spins win now counts the spin that started them, and a Tauren Stampede during Bonus Spins adds to that total instead of popping up its own win.

v1.6.0

Restart WoW after updating - a /reload isn't enough for this one.

New

  • Blackjack, two ways: pick Classic or Spanish 21 from the Game button. Spanish 21 takes the 10s out of the deck, but your 21 always wins and long or lucky 21s pay a bonus.
  • Play up to 3 hands at once, each with its own bets. Slide between them, or use Bet all hands to bet them all the same.
  • Surrender: fold a bad hand and get half your bet back.
  • Insurance on each hand, or even money on a blackjack.
  • Bust Bonus side bet: win when the dealer busts - up to 250 to 1.
  • Card counting practice: the deck now carries over between hands. Turn on Card Count to see each card's count, or shuffle a new shoe to start over.
  • See how to win: the Game button explains each game with example hands, and hovering a side bet shows its winning hands.
  • A brand new blackjack table to play on.

Changes

  • Side bets take any chip, just like your main bet.
  • Your betting chips stay on the table during a hand (dimmed) instead of vanishing.
  • Your Gems in the header are bigger and easier to read.
  • Naga Slots, Steamwheedle Stakes and Five-Finger Draw moved to More Games at the bottom of the list. Every game also opens from chat: /ggr naga, /ggr draw, /ggr stakes, /ggr blackjack, /ggr tauren, /ggr craps, /ggr jacks.

Bug fixes

  • A winning side bet now shows what you won, not the total paid back with your bet.
  • The dealer now checks for blackjack under a 10 as well as an Ace, so you're never stuck doubling or splitting into a dealer blackjack.

v1.5.1

Restart WoW after updating - this version adds new art (the tiki torches and the carved stones), and a /reload isn't enough to load it.

Earthmother's Fortune

  • 3 golden cows now start the Tauren Stampede by themselves - and once in a blue moon, just 1 or 2 do. Two golden cows with reels still spinning tease the rest.
  • Every golden cow that lands sends a blazing orb into the totem - it hits with a flash, a shockwave and a shower of sparks, and leaves the totem glowing, more with every cow; when the Stampede starts, the totem lights up all the way.
  • The Stampede's balls are now carved stones with a hoof print cut into them - teal on a plain stone, the jackpot's or totem's color on theirs - so they stand out on the reels.
  • A stone's Gems now read like the TOTAL WIN panel - green, with a drop shadow - and amounts under 10,000 are comma-grouped everywhere (7,500, not 7500), in Naga's Hoard too.
  • Gold coins now pay as well as starting Bonus Spins: 3, 4 or 5 anywhere pay 2x, 4x or 10x your bet (x3 during Bonus Spins). Bonus Spins are now 6 spins for any number of coins (was 8, 12 or 15), and 3 more coins during them add 3 (was 5).
  • Retuned to pay back about 99% of every Gem bet, jackpot growth included (it was paying well over 120%): the dancing Wild and the stones land a little less often, so the Tauren Stampede comes about once every 110 spins instead of 70. Every pay, the totem and the jackpots are unchanged.
  • The PAYS table lists the golden cow: 3 or more start the Tauren Stampede.
  • Two tiki torches stand beside the totem and burst into flame when the Tauren Stampede starts, burning until it's over.
  • New AUTO button beside Spin: keeps spinning for you until you switch it off. Bonus Spins play out as usual; in a Tauren Stampede you press the respins yourself, and auto carries on once it pays. It stops by itself if you can't cover the bet or close the window.

v1.5.0

Restart WoW after updating - this version adds a new game and new art, and a /reload isn't enough to load them.

New: Earthmother's Fortune

A tauren slot machine: 5 reels, 3 rows and 20 paylines, on warm parchment reels under a carved totem pole.

  • Winning lines: 3, 4 or 5 matching symbols in a row from the left reel pay. Card royals (10, J, Q, K, A) pay least, then the Hawk, Wolf, Kodo and the fiery Chief. Every winning line is drawn over the reels in its own color, with its winning cells outlined, and named under the reels ("Line 4: 3 x Kodo pays 45 Gems").
  • The Wild (reels 2-4) is a tauren who dances in his cell, and stands in for any paying symbol.
  • Bet like Cartel Twenty-One: pick a chip and click Bet to stack it (right-click takes one back), up to 5,000 Gems (1,000,000 at High Limit). Your bet stays up between spins.
  • Bonus Spins: 3, 4 or 5 spinning gold coins start 8, 12 or 15 free spins, and every win in them pays x3. More coins, balls and golden cows land during them, so another round of spins or a Tauren Stampede is a real chance.
  • Tauren Stampede: balls (each showing its Gems) and golden cows land on the reels, and 6 or more of them, in any mix, start the Stampede. The totem wakes up, the rest of the reels grey out, and you press Spin for each respin: whatever lands stays (and a golden cow moos), and anything landing resets the respins to 3. Collect all 15 to win the GRAND.
  • Totem Spin: when the Stampede ends, each golden cow gets a Totem Spin - a light runs up the carved totem and slows to a stop on 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x or 50x your bet, or on the MINI, MINOR or MAJOR jackpot.
  • Linked jackpots: Mini, Minor, Major, Maxi and Grand start at 10x, 25x, 75x, 250x and 1,000x your bet and grow with every spin. A ball can land as a jackpot ball during the Stampede, a Totem Spin can stop on one, and filling all 15 cells wins the Grand. In a party or raid, everyone with the addon adds their jackpots' growth together, and whoever lands one resets it for the whole group - a goblin pops up with a chat bubble to tell everyone who landed it and for how much. Drag him wherever you like (/ggr notify shows him to place, /ggr notify reset puts him back). High Limit keeps its own jackpots.
  • The reels tease: when a bonus is one symbol away, the reels still spinning glow, crawl, speed up and jolt to a stop one at a time.

Naga Slots

  • The Hold & Spin bonus is now called Naga's Hoard.

Gallywix's Bones (Craps)

  • The odds messages now mention High Limit's 5x odds (they said the most was 3x).

All games

  • The leaderboard keeps players whose biggest win came from a game your version doesn't know yet, instead of dropping them.

v1.4.4

Gallywix's Bones (Craps)

  • Fixed: a Number or Hard Way bet that won paid its stake back as well as the winnings, while the bet stayed on the table. A win now pays just the winnings, and the bet keeps riding.

v1.4.3

Gems from kills

  • In a group, every kill now pays everyone nearby the full Gem reward - not just whoever landed the killing blow. (Classic Era; in WoW Forever, kill Gems already follow the XP each member gets.)

v1.4.2

Restart WoW after updating - this version adds new dice pictures, and a /reload isn't enough for new images. If the dice in Gallywix's Bones show as green boxes, close and reopen the game.

Naga Slots

  • Bigger bonuses, now that they're rarer: Bonus Spins pots run 25x to 150x your bet (averaging about 38x, was about 16x), and every Hold & Spin pays at least 25x your bet (was 10x). Overall, Slots now pays back about 141% of what you bet.
  • The 75 chip is bronze now - it was the same purple as the 50.

Gallywix's Bones (Craps)

  • The payout labels printed over each bet are gone - hover any bet spot instead for a tooltip with its odds, your bet and what it wins (or what your selected chip would win), and a line on how the bet works. (At High Limit, those labels ran past their spots.)
  • Number and Hard Way tooltips carry a green ON / red OFF badge with a plain explanation: ON means the point is set and a 7 loses the bet; OFF means the point is not set and a 7 does not.
  • New Table Terms legend under the table: ON / OFF, Come-Out Roll, Hard Ways, Horn Bets and Hops, each in a line - click one for its full rules and payouts. A gold ? beside the Hard Ways, Horn Bets and Hop Bets titles opens the same rules.
  • Hover a roll in the Dice Rolls history to see every bet it won or lost, and what that roll won or lost you in all.
  • Dice combinations in tooltips, the rules pages and the Table Terms show as little dice instead of "2 + 4".

Cartel Twenty-One (Blackjack)

  • Bet more than one chip: pick a chip, then click the new Main Bet spot to stack it (right-click takes one back), up to a table max of 5,000 Gems (1,000,000 at High Limit). Your bet stays up for the next hand.

All games

  • Gem amounts are comma-grouped everywhere - your total in the header, win messages, poker stacks and more (25,704 Gems).

v1.4.1

Gallywix's Bones (Craps)

  • Fixed: All Small, All Tall and Make 'Em All could be bet again after a point was made, while the shooter's numbers were still counting. They now only go up before the shooter's first roll, and open again after a seven-out.
  • Fixed: Reset My Bets (and right-clicking a bet off) took down bets that are locked in once in action. The Pass Line now stays up until its point is decided, and bonus bets stay up until they win or a seven-out; everything else still comes down.

All games

  • Regular chips now go up to 100: Gallywix's Bones and Cartel Twenty-One use 5, 10, 20, 25, 50 and 100 (the 1-Gem chip is gone), and Jacks or Better coins are worth 5 to 100 Gems.
  • High Limit now opens at 10,000 Gems (was 100,000) - enough for one bet at its smallest 10K chip.

v1.4.0

WoW Forever

  • Gallywix's Game Room now runs on WoW Forever as well as Classic Era - the same download works in both.
  • In WoW Forever, kills pay Gems based on the experience they give (about 2 Gems at level 10, 5 at 30, 9 at 60), since Forever doesn't let addons read the combat log. Gray mobs and max-level kills don't pay there; quests pay as usual.

Naga Slots

  • Retuned to break even: Naga Slots was paying back about 231% of every Gem bet (so spinning doubled your Gems over time). It now pays back about 100%. Bonus Spins and Hold & Spin each come up about once every 78 spins (Hold & Spin was about 1 in 28, Bonus Spins 1 in 59), and each pays less on average but never pays small: Bonus Spins pots run 10x to 100x your bet (averaging about 16x; the top pot was 500x), and every Hold & Spin pays at least 10x your bet (averaging about 21x), with the 20x, 50x and 100x balls rarer.
  • During a Bonus Spins round, Bonus Spins and Hold & Spin symbols land much more often, so landing them again mid-round is a real chance: Bonus Spins again (about 1 round in 10) adds +3 spins per line (two lines at once: +6), and Hold & Spin (about 1 round in 33) plays the feature right there, then the round carries on.
  • Landing two or more Hold & Spin lines in one spin (about 1 in 29,000 spins) now rolls a multiplier: usually x2, sometimes x3, rarely x4, and very rarely x5 (three lines: at least x3), revealed on a "DOUBLE HOLD & SPIN!" banner. Every ball in that round lands already multiplied, so the total is simply the balls added up. It replaces the extra starting balls a multi-line hit used to give.
  • Hold & Spin shows its numbers beside the grid: RESPINS LEFT in large type (red on the last one), BALLS LOCKED, and the TOTAL WIN so far, with the multiplier in its own panel on the other side.
  • A Bonus Spins round shows SPINS LEFT and WON SO FAR in large type in place of the pay table while it plays.
  • Bonus rounds end with a big TOTAL WIN panel instead of a long line of math (the full breakdown goes to your chat window).
  • The progressive jackpots now show only on the Hold & Spin screen, where they can be won.
  • The status line during Bonus Spins no longer gives away how much of the hidden pot is left.
  • The Wild now shows on the pay table (it was black on black).

All games

  • New Window Size slider in Settings (60% to 120%) resizes every window live. In WoW Forever, windows start bigger (90%) since its UI makes everything smaller; Classic Era keeps its usual size.

v1.3.0

High Limit

  • Every game now has High Limit play for players with 100,000+ Gems. Flip the HIGH LIMIT switch in a game (between rounds) and the table turns amethyst purple, with bigger chips: 10K, 20K, 25K, 50K, 75K and 100K, each in its own color.
  • Gallywix's Bones: odds behind the Pass Line go up to 5x.
  • Cartel Twenty-One: side bets go on 10K at a time.
  • Jacks or Better: coins are worth 10K to 100K Gems each.
  • Naga Slots: bets from 10K to 100K per spin, and the jackpots grow with your bet as always.
  • Steamwheedle Stakes and Five-Finger Draw: pick High Limit when opening a table for 500/1K blinds (1K ante in Five-Finger Draw) and 50K, 100K or 250K stacks. Everyone at the table needs 100,000 Gems to join.
  • The switch stays on between sessions as long as you still have 100,000 Gems.

Leaderboard

  • New Leaderboard tab at the bottom of the main window (or /ggr board): one table of your guild or your party showing everyone's Gems, Biggest Win, Net Profit, Jackpots and Pots Won. Click a column to rank by it, and hover a player to see when they were last seen.
  • Your stats are shared with guildmates and your group automatically. Guildmates who've logged in with this version stay on the board with a "last seen" time, and your other characters show up too.
  • Party members without the addon are listed with a dash.
  • Stats count from this version onward. Net Profit only counts game winnings and losses, not Gems from quests and kills.
  • Don't want to be listed? Turn off Share my stats on leaderboards in Settings.

Naga Slots

  • Hold & Spin triggers less often: back to the same rate as Bonus Spins, about once every 59 spins each (Hold & Spin was about 1 in 28).

v1.2.0

Added

  • Game sounds, using WoW's own sound effects: chips going down and coming back, cards dealt and held, dice shaking and landing, slot reels stopping, Hold & Spin balls locking, jackpots, bonus triggers, win jingles, and a "your turn" chime at the poker table.
  • A goblin cheers when you hit a big slots win.
  • A Game sounds switch in Settings. They play on WoW's Sound Effects channel, so they follow your SFX volume.
  • /ggr sounds plays every sound in turn, with its name in chat.

v1.1.0

All games

  • Fixed: Gems at a Steamwheedle Stakes or Five-Finger Draw table (your buy-in stack plus anything in the current hand) were lost for good on a /reload, logout, disconnect or crash while seated. They now come back on your next login, with a chat message saying how many
  • New playing cards: a clean rounded card face and a red Goblin Cartel card back with a gold "G" medallion; winning and held cards glow instead of just getting a colored border
  • Casino chip bet pickers and glossy buttons (introduced on the Craps table) now used across the solo games

Steamwheedle Stakes (Hold 'em) and Five-Finger Draw

  • Redesigned tables: an oval poker table with a wood rail and gold trim, the game's name printed on the felt, and the seats around it as nameplates - name, a Gems pill for your stack, a badge for ACTING / FOLDED / ALL-IN / WINNER, and a white "D" dealer button. Folded players dim out
  • Bets sit on the felt in front of each seat as chips with the amount and the last action, and sweep into the middle when a betting round ends
  • Side pots are shown on the table: a MAIN POT chip plus a SIDE POT chip for every all-in that split the betting, each listing the players who can win it - and, once the hand's over, who won it. An uncalled bet isn't mistaken for a side pot
  • Fixed: when a player bet more than an all-in opponent could call, the extra came back to them reported as a win ("won 355 with High Card") with a WINNER badge. It's now shown as returned ("uncalled 355 returned"), and only the players who actually won a pot are marked as winners
  • Bigger cards: your own hand at the bottom, the board in Hold 'em, smaller for opponents. In Five-Finger Draw, click your cards to hold them (they glow green) before you Draw
  • Glossy action bar: red Fold and All-In, green Check/Call, gray raises, green Deal Hand / Draw
  • New lobby look for both: open tables as cards with a green Join button, glossy options for opening a table, and the waiting room's seats as nameplates
  • The last hand's result lists one line per pot

Cartel Twenty-One (Blackjack)

  • Much bigger cards. Each hand centers itself, and a long hand fans its cards together instead of running off the edge
  • Main bet picks with casino chips; Deal, Hit, Stand, Double Down, Split and the insurance buttons are glossy
  • Side bets are placed like chips on the Craps table: click the Perfect Pairs or 21+3 panel to put 5 Gems on it per click (right-click takes 5 back), and a chip on the panel shows what's riding. A panel with a bet on it glows green; a losing side bet comes off after its red flash

Jacks or Better

  • Much bigger cards filling the row under the paytable; held cards glow green
  • Coin count buttons are glossy (selected count green), Gems per coin picks with casino chips, and Deal/Draw is a big green button

Naga Slots

  • The bet picker is a row of casino chips and Spin is a big green glossy button
  • Hold & Spin: what lands in a square is now a round, glossy ball (green for values, orange for +Spins, the jackpot's own color for a jackpot) instead of the whole square filling in. Each ball pops in with a bright glow that dims down to a soft one, and flares gold again as it's collected at the end. Balls show just the number (or +SPINS / the jackpot's name), no Gem icon

Gallywix's Bones (Craps)

  • Now a solo table: every player gets their own private Craps table instead of joining a shared party one. With no house bankroll to play against, a shared table added nothing but sync issues (the table roster / "View Table" button is gone with it)
  • Rolls now animate: two big dice bounce across the felt, flickering through faces, then land on the result with the total (or "Hard 8!" style call-out) shown underneath, before any bet settles
  • Bets and the Roll button lock for the ~1 second the dice are tumbling
  • New table layout modeled on a real Crapless Craps table instead of numbered panels: a wood rail around the felt, All Small / All Tall / Make 'Em All across the top, the ten point boxes (SIX and NINE spelled out like a real layout) with the puck dropped onto the point, an open come area where the dice land, the Pass Line wrapping around the bottom and left edge, and Hard Ways and Horn bets in a proposition box at the center of the table
  • Bets now show as casino chips sitting on the felt (colored by value, amount printed on the chip) instead of an amount box inside every button; a bet area with chips on it glows green
  • The chip picker is now a row of the same casino chips, the selected one ringed in gold
  • The "#'s Landed" tracker moved from the header onto the table itself: a row of lights over the point boxes that light up gold as each number is rolled, and go dark on a seven-out. The ON puck sits just under the point's box, on the edge of the come area
  • 20-Gem chips are now yellow instead of sharing blue with the 10s
  • The table is now real artwork instead of flat boxes: green felt with a cloth grain, a wood rail with gold trim, and the whole layout printed on the felt - gold-outlined bet boxes, a curved Pass Line lettered along both arms, and red dice on the Hard Ways and Horn bets. Bet areas light up over the art on hover, while chips are on them, and on a win/loss (the Pass Line lights up along its curve)
  • Bonus bets now sit over the numbers they need: Make 'Em All spans the whole row of point boxes, All Small sits exactly over 2-6 and All Tall over 8-12, each with its own set of hit lights
  • All Small, All Tall and Make 'Em All can only be placed while the point is off (they still ride through the point once placed)
  • Hop bets: the prop box now has PROPS and HOPS tabs. HOPS lays out every hop totaling 4 through 10 by total - one-roll bets on an exact pair of dice, 30-1 for a pair and 15-1 for two different dice (the Horn bets already cover 2, 3, 11 and 12). Tab titles show how many bets are live on each
  • New glossy casino-style buttons: a green Roll 2 Dice and gray Reset My Bets, and the PROPS/HOPS tabs (green when selected), each tab showing the Gems bet on it
  • Tighter window: Roll 2 Dice and Reset My Bets moved up into the header and the Dice Rolls strip got slimmer, so the Craps window is about 120px shorter
  • Payout text on the table is easier to read: larger, outlined, with the odds in bright gold and the Gem win in white underneath
  • Pass Line odds: once a point is set, back your Pass Line with 1x, 2x or 3x odds from the new ODDS box behind it. Odds win with the Pass Line at true odds - 6-5 on 6/8, 3-2 on 5/9, 2-1 on 4/10, 3-1 on 3/11, 6-1 on 2/12 - and lose to a 7. Right-click the ODDS box to take odds down

v1.0.7

Visual polish

  • Every window is about 10% smaller across the board (a uniform scale reduction), so the addon takes up noticeably less of the screen
  • The main title now uses a rougher, scratchier font instead of the standard UI font
  • The window background is now a warm brass/gold wash instead of flat charcoal

Gallywix's Bones (Craps)

  • Dice Rolls history moved from a tall side column to a compact horizontal strip above the board, freeing up real width - each past roll is now a small tile (total over its two dice) instead of a full row, the newest roll always stays in view at the front, and it now remembers the last 40 rolls instead of 6 (scroll to see further back; hover a tile to see who threw it)
  • Fixed the point ON/OFF indicator dropping down onto the "12" number button

v1.0.5

Cartel Twenty-One (Blackjack) — new

  • Full standard ruleset: Hit, Stand, Double Down, and Split (one split per hand, no re-splitting; split Aces get exactly one card each and stand automatically). Blackjack pays 3:2, a regular win pays 1:1, a tie pushes
  • Insurance: offered whenever the dealer shows an Ace, costs half your main bet, pays 2:1 if the dealer has blackjack — the dealer's hole card is revealed immediately either way, whether you take it or not
  • Perfect Pairs and 21+3 side bets, each with the real published payout table printed right inside its own bordered panel (not buried in a separate help screen), a persistent bet readout that stays visible through the whole hand, and a green/red flash on a win or a loss — a lost side bet resets back to "Not Bet" once the flash fades
  • Dealt from a 6-deck shoe, not a single deck — a single deck makes Perfect Pairs' own top tier (same rank AND suit) mathematically impossible, since there's only one 8 of Spades in one deck

Jacks or Better — new

  • Classic 5-card draw video poker: hold any of your 5 cards, Draw replaces the rest
  • The real published "9/6 full-pay" paytable, not an approximation — a Royal Flush jumps to 4000x at 5 coins, not just 5x the 1-coin rate
  • Bet 1-5 coins at a Gems-per-coin value you set, both sticky across hands
  • The winning row on the paytable flashes when you actually hit it

Five-Finger Draw (5-Card Poker) — new

  • Real 5-Card Draw poker, played live with your party: create or join a lobby, ante up, a full predraw betting round, a simultaneous discard/draw phase (hold any of your cards, Draw replaces the rest — no turn order, since nobody can see what anyone else is holding anyway), a postdraw betting round, and a real showdown
  • Built on the same proven betting/pot engine as Steamwheedle Stakes — all-in and side pots work the same way, and a short stack going all-in for less only ever contests what it can cover
  • A status line always tells you exactly what's happening and what to do next — whose turn it is, what your options are, or who you're waiting on to draw — instead of expecting you to already know draw poker's own bet-draw-bet structure

Gallywix's Bones (Craps)

  • Board redesign: every betting panel is now a real felt green with a bright gold border, instead of a near-black wash that blended into the window's own dark chrome
  • Dice are red instead of green, everywhere they appear
  • Number and Hard Way bets are now standing bets — a win leaves the wager on the table to keep paying every time it hits, instead of clearing after one win, until it eventually loses to a seven-out

Steamwheedle Stakes (Hold 'em)

  • The host can now set a purely cosmetic "1 Gem = ? Copper" conversion when creating a lobby — shown in the open-lobbies list before anyone joins, on the pre-game lobby screen, and on the table itself. Never touches any actual bet, payout, or bankroll math

Every game

  • A "?" Help button now sits in every game's header — a description, "How to Play" broken into clear steps instead of one dense paragraph, and (for any game that actually has one) a live paytable that reflects your current bet in real Gems, not just a bare multiplier
  • Every game in the menu list now shows a SOLO or PARTY badge, so it's clear at a glance which ones need a group and which don't
  • Fixed several game list icons that were silently broken (invalid texture paths that were never actually verified to exist) — Blackjack, Hold 'em, and Jacks or Better each show their own correct, distinct icon now instead of rendering identically or blank

v1.0.4

Gallywix's Bones (Craps)

  • Board redesign: every betting panel is now a real felt green instead of a near-black wash that blended into the window's own dark chrome, with a brighter gold border/title/payout text to match - the board itself finally stands out the way a physical table's felt does against its black cabinet
  • Dice are red instead of green, everywhere they appear (roll history and the Hard Way/Horn combo graphics)
  • Number bets and Hard Ways are now standing bets: a win no longer clears the wager, it stays on the table and keeps paying every time it hits until it loses to a seven-out (or you take it down yourself with a right-click) - no more re-betting the same number after every single win. Pass Line, Horn, and the side bets are unchanged, still one-shot and cleared the moment they resolve

v1.0.0 — Initial Release

Gallywix's Bones (Craps)

  • Live party dice game — one player hosts, everyone who joins can bet and roll in real time
  • Crapless Craps rules — 7 is the only number that resolves the come-out roll (a natural win); every other total (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12) becomes the point instead of an automatic craps-out. Pass Line still pays flat even money no matter which number ends up as the point
  • Pass Line, Hard Ways, Horn bets, and the full Numbers board
  • All Small / All Tall / Make 'Em All side bets
  • Roll history, hit-number tracker, and payout popups for big wins
  • Fixed: the win popup was announcing only the profit on a winning bet, not the stake plus profit that actually landed back in your balance (a display-only bug — the Gems you were credited were always correct)

Naga Slots

  • Skill-based 3x3 grid — choose where to place your Wild after every spin to complete a line; Spin is live again the instant that result is on screen, no waiting on it
  • Every creature symbol — Murloc, Naga Myrmidon, Scorpid, Turtle, Wind Serpent, Goblin, and Ragnaros — lands as a real, animated WoW model on the reel, and the Pay Table shows that exact same live model too, in a compact 2-column layout, so what's on the reel and what's in the Pay Table always match; Onyxia, Nefarian, and Thunderfury stay flat icons instead (a live model didn't read well at that size for these three)
  • Pay Table shows the actual Gem amount a line pays at your current bet, not a bare multiplier — updates live the instant you change your bet
  • No more "Blank" filler symbol — the two most common results are now Murloc and Naga Myrmidon, real creatures with their own (small) payout, so a near-miss always shows something you could genuinely have matched instead of an empty "—" tile; the overall odds of every other symbol, Bonus Spins, and Hold & Spin are unchanged by this
  • Bonus Spins / Hold & Spin now open with a "Start" button on their transition banner instead of auto-advancing on a timer — the feature waits for you
  • Bonus Spins: land 3 in a line to start a run of free spins toward a hidden multiplier — every spin's reveal traces back to an actual line on the grid, not an invisible number; landing more than one Bonus Spins line at once scales the reward up accordingly
  • Hold & Spin: locks number balls on a 10x10 grid across a run of respins, with a persistent "current bet" readout that stays visible even while the chip buttons are locked; every empty cell gets a chance to flicker as a live candidate each round, and even a flickering cell can still come up empty — real near-misses, not a guaranteed hit
  • Five progressive jackpots — Grunt, Sergeant, General, Warlord, and High Warlord — each get their own banner above the reels (with that rank's real PvP badge shown on the ball when one hits), grow from a small skim off every paid spin, and can only be won inside a Hold & Spin round. Both the banner and the payout scale up with your bet, so playing higher stakes chases a bigger jackpot, not just the same one; a hit flashes the whole banner green the instant it lands
  • Bet range is 10-100 Gems (its own scale, separate from the other tables) — keeps the lowest-tier symbols' payouts distinguishable from each other instead of all rounding down to the same amount

Gems

  • One shared currency across every game, tracked per character and persisted across logins
  • Completing quests and landing kills out in the world earns Gems too, not just at the tables — quest rewards scale with the quest's own XP/money reward, and kill rewards scale with the monster's level and classification (a rare or elite pays more than a common mob, a rare elite or world boss more still)
  • New characters start with a modest 200 Gems, enough to get a feel for the tables before needing to win, quest, or fight your way to more

Settings

  • A Settings panel (always available from the header) for window transparency, and toggles for the Big Win popup and the floating Gem-gain text

Steamwheedle Stakes (Hold 'em)

  • Lobby/host flow is live — create or join a table of up to 5 players, see everyone's seat fill in live as they join, and leave cleanly at any time

  • Host clicks Start Game once at least 2 are seated; anyone who joins after that lands in a waiting list instead of an open seat, and the host can seat them between hands with a dedicated "Seat Waiting Players" button

  • Fixed: the window was rendering at the wrong size (a leftover default meant for a much smaller game screen), which is what made the lobby look like a borderless overlay instead of sitting inside the table frame

  • Fixed: the "Open Lobbies" list's empty-state message could end up with a stray, clickable "Join" button left over from a previous listing

  • Starting the game now loads an actual table screen for every seated player — 5 seats arranged pentagon-style around the felt, your own seat always at the bottom no matter which seat you actually joined in. Each occupied seat shows the player's name, their starting Gem stack, and two face-down card holders (a "Leave Table" button sits top-right); anyone still waiting to be seated stays on the lobby screen until the host seats them

  • Actual card dealing and betting rounds are still coming — the table screen and its card holders are laid out and ready, but nothing is dealt into them yet

  • If any seated player leaves mid-hand — whether by clicking "Leave Table"/"Close Table" or by disconnecting — the hand is voided and everyone remaining is dropped back to the lobby screen rather than trying to patch the hand around a missing seat or guess who should take over. A waiting player leaving doesn't affect a hand already in progress, since they were never dealt into it

  • Added the ledger a real betting round will hand its wagers to, and wired it into the above so a voided hand pushes back whatever was staked — no live betting round exists yet, so there's nothing to actually stake right now, but the push-back is ready for when there is

  • The deck itself (52 cards, shuffle, deal, and the actual card-face widget) is now a shared building block any card game can use, not something built specifically for Hold 'em — the same deck logic and card visuals will back Cartel Twenty-One (Blackjack) and any future card game too, all built once instead of separately per game

  • A real betting round: the host deals a hand with a "Deal Hand" button, blinds post automatically, and the turn moves seat to seat (highlighted at the table) with Check, Call, Fold, and two raise sizes plus All-In — all capped at what you actually have. The pot is shown live at the table, and Core/Betting.lua (the same shared wager ledger every other card game will use) makes sure a mid-hand leave still pushes back whatever was staked

  • Since real hand evaluation doesn't exist yet, a betting round that reaches showdown with more than one player still in just splits the pot evenly rather than pretending to compare hands — clearly called out at the table when it happens. Only a fold-out (everyone else folds) awards the pot outright

  • Dealing a hand now actually deals — your own 2 hole cards flip face-up at your seat, and only yours; everyone else's stay face-down because their actual cards are never sent to you in the first place (the host privately whispers each player their own hand), not just hidden by the UI

  • The dealer button is now an actual puck (matching Craps' ON/OFF indicator style) that follows whoever's dealing each hand, instead of a small easy-to-miss "D" in a seat's corner

  • Card faces now show real suit icons instead of an S/H/D/C letter — original artwork (not scanned or copied from any existing deck), so nothing to license. Also fixed the rank text on spades and clubs, which had been rendering in a color barely visible against the card face

  • Whoever's turn it is now gets a clear "ACTING" badge above their seat, not just a border color change that was too easy to miss at a glance

  • Your Check/Call/Fold/Raise controls moved out of a fixed corner panel and into a spot right next to your own seat — since they only ever act for you, they now live where you are

  • Bets now show right on the table in front of each seat (not just in their own info box), and whatever a player just did — Small Blind, Big Blind, Checked, Called, Raised to X, Folded — is labeled above their chips so everyone can follow the action without doing the math themselves

  • Fixed: your action buttons were sitting on top of the felt itself. They're now tucked into the actual gap between your seat and the table, laid out with a new shared button-grid helper (Core/Table.lua) instead of hand-placed coordinates — any future game's cluster of action buttons can use the same one

  • Hold 'em now plays like actual Hold 'em: the flop, turn, and river deal onto the felt with a full betting round on each street, and reaching showdown with more than one player runs a real 7-card hand evaluation (pairs, straights, flushes, full houses, the works — Core/PokerHand.lua, shared with any future video poker) to find the actual winner, splitting the pot only on a genuine tie. Winning hands are revealed to everyone at showdown, the same as a real table; a fold-out still mucks without showing. This is a big, genuinely new piece of logic — if a hand plays out oddly (turn order, a street not advancing, a wrong winner), that's worth reporting

  • Fixed: a street could close the instant its first player acted, skipping every other seat and jumping straight from (say) the flop to the river. The betting-round-closing logic now tracks how many live players still owe an action this street, instead of a "closes once it returns to this seat" marker that broke on any street where the closing seat also acted first

  • Pot moved from the top-right corner onto the table itself, right below the community cards — it's the number that actually changes as chips move in, so it reads better sitting where the chips do

  • The winning player's seat now gets its own highlight, and at a real showdown their exact winning cards — hole cards and/or community cards, whichever actually made the hand — light up too, not just a text announcement of who won and with what. Colored hot pink/magenta specifically because nothing else on the table uses it (green seated, gold self, orange acting) — an earlier pass used green, which read almost the same as a normal seated border

  • Hard Way and Horn bet buttons now show the actual dice combination (Hard 4 = two 2s, Horn 11 = a 5 and a 6) instead of a plain number — reuses the same die-face rendering the roll history already had. Getting the spacing right took a few passes: the payout label there is two lines ("7-1" plus the potential-win amount), leaving only ~12px of real room between it and the bet- amount badge below - not enough for a legible die at any size. These two buttons now show just the payout ratio (dropping the potential-win line, which reads less usefully at these payout sizes anyway); every other bet keeps its full two-line label. The dice themselves also moved off SetScale onto exact pixel sizing (a new size option on the shared die-face renderer), so the gap between the two dice is a real, guaranteed value instead of a scaled estimate

  • Fixed a real economy bug: the Starting Stack you pick when creating a Hold 'em table (500/1000/ 2500) never actually limited anything — betting drew straight from your full live Gems balance, and a player with 0 Gems could still call or go all-in. Hold 'em now uses a real buy-in: picking a Starting Stack deducts that many Gems once (capped at what you actually have) into a table stack that's the only thing a hand can ever draw from; whatever's left returns to your real balance when you leave or the table closes. Every seat shows its actual live stack now, not the table's chosen setting redisplayed everywhere

  • Added proper all-in and side pot handling: a call or raise is capped at what the acting player's stack can actually cover, and a short stack going all-in for less builds a separate side pot that only the players who covered the bigger bet can win — the main pot stays contestable by everyone still in. If everyone left in a hand is all-in, the rest of the board deals out with no more betting, straight to showdown, the same as a real table "running it out"

  • Fixed: a player with an empty stack could still be dealt into a hand. Anyone with 0 chips now sits the hand out entirely (no cards, no blind, no turn) until they leave and rejoin for a fresh buy-in; Deal Hand itself now requires 2+ players who actually have chips, not just 2+ seated

  • Fixed a split-pot mismatch: an odd pot can't divide perfectly evenly between tied winners, and the leftover Gem was landing on whichever winner happened to come first in an internal, non- deterministic order — looking arbitrary, and worse, the "split" message implied an equal share even when it wasn't quite one. The extra Gem now goes by seat order (deterministic), and the message states each winner's actual amount instead of implying they split it equally

  • Fixed the actual source of that "one player came up short" pattern: the small and big blind could resolve to the same seat, silently merging both blinds onto one player and dropping the small blind's Gems out of the pot entirely (deducted from their stack, never added to the ledger). Every all-in this session that came up exactly one blind short traced back to this - it's fixed at the root now, not papered over

  • Seat panels are now fully opaque instead of letting the green felt faintly bleed through a player's name/cards/bet — the overall window-transparency Settings slider still works as before, this was specifically about the seat's own background

Gallywix's Bones (Craps)

  • Removed the separate Start/Join buttons — opening the table now joins an already-running game automatically, or starts one itself (including playing solo) if nobody else is hosting yet, so there's no manual coordination step before anyone can actually roll
