FriendsFinder 2.1.0
What's new
FriendsFinder 2.1.0
New
- Nearby alerts (off by default; Options > AddOns > FriendsFinder > Alerts): when a friend or guildmate comes into view, a line in your chat window says so ("[Bob] is nearby (friend)."), with Blizzard's friend sound. Click the name to whisper them. You can include players you wrote a note on, and your note is shown with the alert. Once per meeting, never for your own group.
- Hide Mini-List in Combat (off by default): the mini-list steps aside while you fight and comes back afterwards.
- Remind Me to Turn On Names (on by default): turn it off to hide the "!" on the mini-list without changing your nameplates.
- Key binding: "Toggle FriendsFinder" in Options > Keybindings > AddOns.
- Addon Compartment entry (the addon list by the minimap): left-click opens the list, right-click opens the settings.
- Now on every flavor: Classic Era, TBC Anniversary, Titan Reforged and Mists of Pandaria Classic, as well as WoW Forever and Retail.
Fixed
- The mini-list turned itself off when you hid the interface (Alt+Z) or a cinematic played. It now stays on; only its X turns it off.
- Closing the mini-list during combat caused an "Interface action failed" error. Its X is now greyed out until the fight ends.
- Retail and Classic: whisper, invite, add friend and click-to-target now add the realm for players from another realm than your current character, so they reach the right player from your alts.
- Classic: the nameplate prompt no longer lists settings that only exist on Forever and Retail.
- Blizzard's popups (your note, the friend request, Forget all) always show on top of the FriendsFinder window.
