FriendsFinder 2.0.0
What's new
FriendsFinder 2.0.0
A full rebuild: a social radar for the friendly players around you, with a history of everyone you've met.
New
- New window in the style of Blizzard's Who list (type /ff): the players around you on top in class colors, and everyone you've met below, greyed out. Scroll down to see your history.
- Columns: name, level, race, guild, last seen ("5m ago in Westfall", and how many times you've met), and your own note.
- Notes: click the note icon on any row to write yourself a note about a player. It shows in the list and when you hover over them, and the search box finds it.
- Click a player to target them. Right-click for Whisper, Invite to Group, Add Friend, Add Note, Inspect, Trade and Hide.
- Add Friend sends a WoW friend request (on WoW Forever) through Blizzard's own confirmation.
- Mini-list: a small on-screen box with the players in view right now. Click a name to target them, or "Open list" for the full window.
- See everyone around you: a small "!" on the mini-list offers to turn on names above friendly players (Friendly Player Nameplates, Only Show Names, Use Class Color for Names). Confirm once and it's remembered for all your characters.
- Search, sort by any column, and filter: near my level, not in my guild, people I've met before, friends and guildmates, hidden players.
- Your history with each player in the tooltip: times seen, first met, grouped, traded, whispered, plus PlayerVouch ratings and DuelTracker records if you use those addons.
- Settings page in Options > AddOns > FriendsFinder.
Fixed
- Clicking a player now really targets them.
- Full "First Last" names on WoW Forever.
- No more errors from hidden values in instances.
Good to know
- Your history keeps the last 1,000 players you've met. Players you wrote a note on are always kept.
- Lists pause during combat and catch up right after.
- Settings from 1.x are reset; the players you've already met are kept.
