Hotfix Release — October 22, 2026

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a Lua error triggered when hovering over NPCs inside dungeons.

  • Added safeguards for protected and secret unit identifiers returned by the WoW client.

  • Improved tooltip handling to safely skip NPCs and inaccessible unit information.

  • Prevented invalid unit data from reaching restricted WoW API functions.

Compatibility

  • Improved compatibility with Shadowed Unit Frames (SUF) and other tooltip integrations.

  • Preserved FriendlyBuff player tooltip scores and existing tooltip functionality.

Stability

  • No changes to buff selection, scoring, statistics, or database structures.

  • All existing player data remains intact.

Testing

  • Dungeon NPC tooltip error successfully retested and confirmed resolved.

Status: Hotfix tested successfully and ready for release.
