FreshSetup
Set your UI up once, then every new character starts ready to play. FreshSetup skips the intro cinematic and gives brand new level 1 characters your macros, keybinds, action bars and layout, so you can start questing straight away.
Features
- One-time save: type
/fs saveon a character you have set up. New level 1 characters of the same class get the same macros, keybinds, action bar placement and Edit Mode layout. - Cinematic skip: the intro cinematic is stopped the moment it starts.
- Sensible starting settings: new characters start with action bars 1-5 shown, combined bags on and non-critical world preloading off for shorter loading screens. Your own saved values always win over these.
- RestedXP: your settings, frame positions and sizes, and your current guide carry over to new characters.
- Questie: keeps your profile choice, and quest auto accept and turn in start switched on. Turn them off in Questie and they stay off.
- Spell queue window: see and change the current value from the options panel.
- Fresh account presets: paste-in files for EllesmereUI, RestedXP, Naowh Forever, Leatrix Plus and ForeverAuras / WeakAuras, used only when the game has no saved settings for that addon yet.
- Lightweight: no libraries, and it does nothing on characters that are not brand new.
Options
Open with /fs or Game Menu > Options > AddOns > FreshSetup.
Every part can be switched off on its own: macros, keybinds, action bars, Edit Mode layout, console variables and each supported addon. Everything is on by default.

/freshsetup works in place of /fs.
Notes
- Built for WoW: Forever.
- The setup is applied automatically only to brand new characters (level 1 with no experience). Use
/fs loadfor any other character. - Profiles are saved per class.
- Questie profiles are shared between characters, so auto accept and turn in are switched on for every character using that profile, once. After that the addon leaves them alone.
- EllesmereUI, Naowh Forever and Leatrix Plus already share their settings across all characters on an account. The preset files only matter on a fresh account or install.
- The folder must stay named
!FreshSetupso it loads before the addons it sets up.
