Know what you'll get before you shift
Formwise shows the resources of your other forms: what you'd have the moment you shifted. Use it to pick the right form, not to guess.

Shift icons. Under the bars, a Bear and a Cat Form icon show how many shifts into each form your Mana covers. They're there in every form and update in combat.
Built for Forever's Furor
WoW: Forever reworked Furor: Cat Form now gives back Energy you had when you left it, plus Energy over time spent out of form, and since the October 15 update it keeps that Energy through Bear Form. Formwise follows those rules, taken from the game's own spell data and Blizzard's notes:
- Reads your Furor rank from your talents, or works it out from your shifts.
- Shows Furor's chance-based Rage below rank 5, e.g.
0 (40%: 10). - Uses the shift costs the game reports, so Natural Shapeshifter and other reductions count.
Works in combat
Forever hides your power values from addons in combat. Formwise is built around that: the bars and shift icons keep working in combat without doing maths on hidden values.
Checks itself
Every shift out of combat is compared with the prediction. /fw log shows the last 20 results. If you see a mismatch, please open an issue with your log: it helps pin down Forever's exact rules.
Options
Options › AddOns › Formwise, or /fw:
- Width, height, spacing and scale (the shift icons scale with the bars)
- Attach under the player frame, or unlock and drag anywhere
- Show or hide the numbers and the shift icons
- Furor rank: automatic, or set it yourself (
/fw furor 0-5)
Beta
WoW: Forever is in beta and Blizzard is still changing the addon API, so Formwise is released as a beta too. Some details (exact rounding, event order on a shift) can only be confirmed in game; /fw log is how they get checked.
