Forge's Chronicle

Your story, written as you live it.

Forge's Chronicle is an automatic adventure journal for World of Warcraft. It pays attention while you play and writes the moments worth keeping into a journal you can open any time with /chronicle:

• Firsts — your first dungeon, first raid boss, first battleground win, first epic and legendary, first guild, reaching max level. When a first happens, the game takes a screenshot (saved to your WoW Screenshots folder, like any screenshot you take yourself).
• Milestones — every ten levels, new dungeons and raid bosses, zones discovered, and the rest of the journey's markers.
• Chapters — your story is divided into chapters, from First Steps to Apex, and each new chapter opens with its own ceremony page.
• The Thread — a timeline that runs through it all: gems for firsts and milestones along a golden thread, so you can see your whole journey at a glance.
• Your own words — add a note to any moment, or write a page of your own. It's your journal; the unwritten pages are yours.
• Share your story — a ready-to-copy recap of your top moments, level curve, deaths and favourite zone.

Honest details:

• Screenshots are taken by the game itself and live in your Screenshots folder under WoW's own file names. The journal records the moment; it can't display the picture inside the game.
• On a character who existed before you installed Chronicle, early firsts are recorded as "Chronicle's first …" — it can only swear to what it saw. Characters up to level 10 count as followed from the start.
• Dungeon "cleared" entries come from Dungeon Finder completions on Retail; other runs list the bosses you defeated.

Private by design. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is sent anywhere, and it never reads chat. Everything stays on your PC. No account, no telemetry, no dependencies — Chronicle stands alone (it is not part of Forge's Ledger, though the same forge makes both).
