Threat Manager: a threat meter that adapts to your role

• Role Based (e.g. utilizes the role checks in parties and raids)
• Context Based (e.g. most threat meters show a long list of everyone's threat, which is noisy and not beneficial to raiders. I created a simplified threat manager that shows critical information based on the role you're playing as and the engaged enemies' status.)

Roles

• Tank - You will be able to clearly see your threat lead or any loss of control to better manage larger pulls either as a solo tank or managing the threat with multiple tanks.
• Healer - You will be able to recognize if enemies are latching on you as you heal with the ability to warn via different means.
• DPS - You will be able to view all enemies engaged in the fight, which is useful for AoE and cleave damage, with how much more threat you can generate before you pull.

Features

• Automatic Roles - assigned based on role checks in parties and raids, but you are able to override any time.
• QOL - Your current target is outlined in the Threat Management tool.
• Warnings - Stay informed either via console, say, yell, party, raid, or even raid warnings.
• Targeting - Multi-target vs single-target.
• Plain numbers. Bars show the threat difference as a flat number (for example +85 or -520) instead of percentages. Bar length is capped by default so a huge lead never squashes the display, and the text always shows the real number. This is customizable!
• Batch Processing - Warnings are batched to reduce the frequency of information gathered and shared.
• Edit Mode - Click the gear icon on the meter or type /ftm. A tabbed options window lets you change: colors, size and scale, text and font, bar style, sorting, top to bottom or bottom to top, and much more.

Quick start

1. Install the addon then log in WoW Forever. The meter appears automatically.
2. Type /ftm edit to position and style it, or click the gear icon.
3. Type /ftm role tank, healer, dps or auto to set your role manually, or let the addon auto detect your role based on checks.

Notes

• I built this specifically for WoW Forever client and will not develop this addon for other clients.
• Some threat numbers may be hidden by the game's addon restrictions. When that happens the bars still show colors and aggro state, but the exact numbers may not appear. Warnings only fire when the game provides enough information.
