ForeverStealthBarFix

A small fix for Rogues on the WoW: Forever beta: your main action bar follows your Stealth state again.

Enter Stealth and the main action bar switches to your stealth bar. Leave Stealth and your normal bar comes back. No menus, no profiles, no configuration.

This addon targets the WoW: Forever beta (Interface 16001) and the default Blizzard main action bar.

What it does

• Pages the real main bar buttons (ActionButton1–12) to the stealth bar while you are stealthed.
• Restores your native bar as soon as you leave Stealth.
• Keeps actions, icons, cooldowns and keybinds on the same slots, because the existing buttons are paged instead of replaced.

Features

• Rogue only. The addon disables itself on every other class.
• Works in combat. The swap runs in Blizzard's secure environment, so combat lockdown does not block it.
• Plays nice with Blizzard's UI. Vehicles, override bars, possess bars, pet battles and being dead are left entirely to the default interface.
• Lightweight. No saved variables, no slash commands, no polling. It registers a single secure state driver.

Installation

1. Download and unzip the file.
2. Copy the ForeverStealthBarFix folder into your Interface/AddOns directory.
3. Restart the game or type /reload.

Usage

Put your stealth abilities on the stealth bar (enter Stealth once and drag the abilities onto the buttons shown). From then on the bar swaps automatically.

Compatibility

• Built for the default Blizzard main action bar.
• Addons that replace or re-anchor the main bar buttons (for example Bartender4, Dominos or ElvUI) may conflict, since they handle bar paging themselves.

FAQ

Does it work for Druids or other classes with Stealth? No. It is intentionally limited to Rogues.

Do I need to configure anything? No. Install it and play.

Will it work on retail or other WoW versions? It was written for the WoW: Forever beta (Interface 16001). Other versions are untested.

What happens if I load into the game while in combat? The addon finishes its setup as soon as combat ends.

This addon ideally will not have long-term support because it is a solution to a temporary bug in WoW: Forever Beta.
