A lightweight Hunter pet assistant for WoW Forever that keeps your pet status, combat state, threat, health, happiness, Growl and essential pet controls in one compact interface.
ForeverPetAssistant is a compact Hunter utility addon designed specifically for WoW Forever.
It gives you a quick overview of your active pet without needing to constantly check several different UI elements.
The addon displays your pet's important combat information in one place, including:
- Pet name and level
- Health
- Happiness status
- Current pet stance
- Growl status
- Threat status
- Armor
- Attack Power
- Damage
- Critical Strike when the client exposes the value
- Strength and Agility automatically when those stats are actually available
It also includes a dedicated pet control bar with quick access to:
- ATTACK
- FOLLOW
- PASSIVE
- DEFENSIVE
- ASSIST
- MEND PET
- REVIVE PET
- CALL PET
The action bar automatically adapts depending on your pet's current state. If your pet is dead, Mend Pet is replaced by Revive Pet. If no pet is currently summoned, the addon only displays the Call Pet button.
ForeverPetAssistant also provides contextual warnings for situations such as:
- Low pet health
- Critical pet health
- Dead pet
- Unhappy pet
- Pet set to Passive during combat
- Growl enabled while grouped
- Growl disabled while solo
- Pet attacking a different target
- Pet being idle during combat
- Pet currently tanking or generating significant threat
The addon is designed to remain useful without filling the screen with unnecessary information.
Note: the pet swing timer was intentionally removed because it could trigger protected-action / Blizzard UI errors on WoW Forever.
Slash Commands
Use:
/fpa
Available commands:
/fpa unlock
Unlocks the frame so you can move it.
/fpa lock
Locks the frame in place.
/fpa combat
Toggles combat-only display mode.
/fpa sound
Enables or disables warning sounds.
/fpa buttons
Shows or hides the pet control bar.
/fpa growl
Enables or disables smart Growl warnings.
/fpa threat
Enables or disables the threat indicator.
/fpa scale 0.6-1.8
Changes the size of the interface.
Example:
/fpa scale 1.2
/fpa low 20-80
Changes the low-health warning threshold.
Example:
/fpa low 40
/fpa critical 10-50
Changes the critical-health warning threshold.
Example:
/fpa critical 20
/fpa test
Displays a test alert so you can preview the interface.
/fpa reset
Restores the default settings.
