ForeverForge LFG Bulletin Board

ForeverForge 2.0 is alt-aware: the board now knows your other characters and tells you which of them could join a group, has the quest, holds the key or can make what someone asks for. Who counts as your alts (and the Alt-aware features switch for all of it) is in Core » Your characters. The board's own parts are on its new Your alts settings page. Only included alts of the faction you're playing count, never you. Levels are from the last time you played each alt, so every alt line says how old that is (red when older than the core's "Mark alt info older than"). An alt whose level or class was never read is left out. Needs ForeverForge core 2.0 - without it the page isn't there and the board works as before. Full game restart needed (new files - /reload isn't enough).

Groups and dungeons

• Your alts that fit: hover a group post to see your own level against the dungeon's range, then "Your alts that fit: Brandy Mae (Priest 24 - healer)" with how long ago you played each one. When the post asks for a tank, healer or dps, only alts whose class can do it are listed. Hold Ctrl for all of them.
• Dungeon headings count your alts: "Level 17-26 · 2 alts" when that many of your alts are in its range. A faint bar on the left means only your alts fit, not you. Hover the heading for their names.
• Also show dungeons my alts can run (off to start): a dungeon you switched off under Dungeons still shows when one of your alts is in its level range.
• Dungeon keys: "key: Brandy Mae" on a dungeon's heading when you have no key and an alt does (Workshop Key, The Scarlet Key, Key to the City and more). Hover the heading for where it is - keyring, bags, bank or worn - and how old that is.
• Raid posts: who is saved: hover a raid post or heading to see which of you are saved there, when it resets, and who is free. Only characters whose lockouts were read at their last login count.

Quests and crafting

• Group quests: hover a group quest post to see which of your alts have that quest ("Brandy Mae has this quest (in log, 3/8, 1 day ago)"). With "Only quests in my quest log" on, a quest only an alt has still shows, marked ALT.
• Crafting requests: a post asking for a linked item, enchant or recipe you or an alt knows starts with "You can make this" or "Brandy Mae knows this (has mats)". Hover it for each one's skill and mats. Only linked items count (not plain words), and selling (WTS) posts are skipped. Needs ForeverForge Training, which saves your recipes when you open a profession, with its "Crafting requests in chat" on.

Also in this release

• Fixed (core 1.32.1): keys on your keyring count. A dungeon key on an alt's keyring now shows up in the heading's "key:" line and its tooltip.
