ForeverEmotes Midnight

A customizable radial emote wheel for WoW Midnight (Retail), with favorites, regular and voiced emotes, and configurable key bindings.

Features

• Eight sectors and seven pages: Favorites, three regular pages and three voice pages.
• 44 unique emote tokens, including 22 shared voice emotes.
• Choose the starting page; customize favorites, colors, size and either of two skins.
• Move and lock the wheel. Open it with the minimap button or up to two key bindings.
• English (US/GB), Russian, German, French, Spanish (ES/MX), Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Korean, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. The client language is selected automatically. No additional libraries required.

Quick start

Install the ForeverEmotes folder into _retail_/Interface/AddOns, then restart WoW. Use /fe to open the wheel and /fe settings for settings. Left-click a sector out of combat to perform an emote. Use the mouse wheel or arrows to change pages. Escape or right-click closes it.

The experimental combat wheel uses a key assigned out of combat. In-game verification on Midnight remains pending. The OEM3 / grave alias covers RU/EN layouts independently of the client language; a different action on the alternate key takes priority.

The game controls emote text, animations and voice availability; the addon does not change audio settings.

Known binding limitation: if you assign both a keyboard key and a mouse-wheel direction, release the keyboard key before using the wheel binding. A wheel action can otherwise be ignored while that key is held.

Compatibility

Version 1.0.0 is for Midnight (Retail) 12.1.5.70783 / Interface 120105 only. This is a separate product line from ForeverEmotes for Forever, with its own source, versions and ZIP. The game folder remains ForeverEmotes so existing settings and bindings from the combined 1.4.x package are preserved. Replace that folder with this complete package; do not install both editions in the same client. Restart WoW after switching.

Local tests cover all 44 emote tokens, bindings and all supported languages against a Midnight API snapshot. In-game Midnight and combat verification remains pending. No saved profiles or assigned keys are included.
