ForeverDuels automatically records your dueling performance, tracks your opponents, and captures character information to help you understand your strengths, identify weaknesses, and improve your PvP gameplay.

Whether you're testing a new talent build, experimenting with equipment, or trying to improve against a difficult class, ForeverDuels gives you the information you need to make better decisions.

⚔️ CURRENT FEATURES

📊 Automatic Duel Tracking

ForeverDuels automatically detects and records completed PvP duels.

USE /fd to open the ForeverDuels window.

Information collected includes:

• Duel wins and losses

• Overall win percentage

• Total completed duels

• Opponent name, class, race, and level when available

• Duel duration

• Who initiated the duel

• Character information at the time of the duel

• Equipment and talent snapshots

• Individual duel history

No manual recording required!

Simply challenge another player or accept a duel request. ForeverDuels handles the tracking.

Declined or expired duel requests are not counted as completed duels.

If the game client cannot determine a duel's outcome, the addon can preserve the result as unknown rather than incorrectly assigning a win or loss.

🏆 Class Matchup Statistics

Ever wonder which classes you perform best against?

ForeverDuels tracks your performance against each class individually.

View:

• Total duels against each class

• Wins and losses

• Class-specific win percentages

• Your strongest matchups

• Your most challenging opponents

Example:

Warrior: 12W – 5L | 70.6% Win Rate

Mage: 4W – 9L | 30.8% Win Rate

Rogue: 8W – 6L | 57.1% Win Rate

Use this information to identify weaknesses and improve your strategies against difficult classes.

🛡️ Gear Performance Tracking

What equipment actually works best for your character?

ForeverDuels records your equipped items when a duel begins and associates them with the outcome.

The Gear tab allows you to:

• View equipment used during recorded duels

• See wins and losses associated with individual items

• Review win percentages while items were equipped

• Filter equipment statistics by opponent class

• Hover over equipment to view item tooltips

• Identify equipment worth testing further

Example:

You might discover that your win percentage against Warriors is higher when using a particular weapon or shield.

As you accumulate more duels, you can begin comparing how different equipment performs in different situations.

Important: Gear statistics represent observed results, not guaranteed item rankings. Character level, talent builds, player skill, opponents, and sample size can all influence performance.

🎯 Talent Build Data Collection

ForeverDuels includes functionality to capture your active talent configuration when a duel begins.

This creates a historical record of the builds used during your dueling sessions.

The goal is to eventually help players answer questions such as:

• Which talent builds perform best against specific classes?

• Which PvP builds have the highest observed win rates?

• What talents are commonly used by successful duelers?

• How do different talent configurations affect matchup performance?

Advanced talent comparisons and build rankings are planned for future releases.

Talent capture depends on the information made available by the game client.

⚔️ Opponent Tracking

Keep track of your personal rivalries.

ForeverDuels maintains records of players you've previously dueled.

You can:

• Review your history against individual opponents

• See your head-to-head wins and losses

• Check your win percentage against a targeted player

• View your most frequently encountered opponents

• Review previous duel results

Perfect for players who regularly duel outside major cities or compete against familiar opponents.

📜 Duel History

Every recorded duel contributes to your personal PvP history.

The addon stores information such as:

• Your opponent

• Your opponent's class and level, when available

• Whether you won or lost

• Duel duration

• Your equipment at the start of the duel

• Your talent configuration at the start of the duel

• A unique local duel identifier

Review your past matches and track your improvement over time.

👤 Character-Specific Statistics

ForeverDuels maintains separate records for each character.

Your Paladin's statistics won't be mixed with your Warrior's or Mage's.

Each character has its own:

• Duel history

• Win/loss record

• Class matchup statistics

• Opponent history

• Equipment performance data

🖥️ FOREVERDUELS INTERFACE

ForeverDuels includes an in-game interface designed to make your dueling information easy to access.

Type /fd to open the interface.

The interface currently contains five sections:

Overview

View your overall win/loss record, win percentage, total duels, and recent matches.

Matchups

See your performance against different classes, including wins, losses, total duels, and win percentages.

Gear

Analyze equipment performance and filter results by opponent class.

Opponents

Review individual opponents and your head-to-head performance against them.

History

Browse your recorded duels and review previous results.

🎮 SLASH COMMANDS

ForeverDuels can be controlled through simple in-game chat commands.

Main Commands

/fd

Open or close the ForeverDuels interface.

/fd gui

Open or close the graphical interface.

/fd open

Another way to open or close the graphical interface.

/fd stats

Display your current character's overall dueling statistics in chat.

/fd matchups

Display your win/loss record and win percentage against each class.

/fd opponent

Display your head-to-head record against your currently targeted player.

You must target a player before using this command.

/fd last

Display information about your most recently recorded duel, including opponent, result, duration, and captured equipment and talent counts.

/fd duel

Display information about your current duel tracking status.

/fd gear

Display your currently equipped gear in chat.

/fd talents

Display information about your currently selected talents.

/fd test

Run a diagnostic check showing character information, detected equipment, talent information, and saved duel count.

/fd reset

Reset the saved duel history and statistics for your current character.

WARNING: This clears your current character's recorded duel history.

Additional Information

You can also use /foreverduels instead of /fd.

🚀 GETTING STARTED

Getting started with ForeverDuels is easy!

Step 1: Install ForeverDuels and enable it in your World of Warcraft addon list.

Step 2: Log into your character.

Step 3: Type /fd to open the ForeverDuels interface.

Step 4: Challenge another player to a duel or accept an incoming challenge.

Step 5: Complete the duel.

Step 6: Open ForeverDuels to review your recorded statistics.

That's it!

Your dueling history will continue growing as you play.

This Is Only the Beginning.

ForeverDuels is currently in its early stages of development.

The primary focus of this initial release is to establish reliable duel tracking and begin collecting the information needed to develop more advanced PvP analytics.

As the addon evolves and more duel data becomes available, we plan to introduce additional features that help players better understand PvP performance.

Additional achievements, statistics, and personal milestones are also being considered.

Our long-term vision is to expand ForeverDuels beyond the in-game addon.

We plan to develop a companion website at:

Website integration, shared statistics, and competitive rankings are future development goals and are not currently available.
