Forever BiS — changes since beta 0.0.36

Everything new from beta 0.0.37 up to beta 0.0.81. BiS lists were also refreshed from ForeverChanges throughout.

New look

• A complete visual redesign: a flat dark theme with Fira Sans text, thin pixel borders and simple icons.
• A new window header with the logo, title, version and close button. Drag the window by its header.
• Restyled filter bar, item list, item rows, paper doll, progress bar, help popover and dungeon notice.
• New dropdowns for class, mode, build, phase and dungeon. They grow to fit their longest entry, and long lists scroll with the mouse wheel.

Choosing your list

• Separate PvE / PvP selector. Pick the class, then PvE or PvP, then the spec. Spec names no longer repeat "PvE" or "PvP". Switching mode keeps the same spec when it exists in the other mode.
• Phases. A phase dropdown appears when a build has lists for more than one phase. Auto follows your character's level, and you can pin any other phase.
• Class auto-detection. On login the addon selects your class until you pick one yourself.
• Per-character selection. Class, build and phase are now saved for each character.

Tooltips

• Every item tooltip in the game shows where that item is BiS for your class, for example BiS #2 Head - Feral PvE (Level 30).
• /bis tooltip turns this on or off. /bis tooltip all shows every class instead of only yours.

Progress and upgrades

• The progress line (BiS 3/17) shows how many slots already hold their BiS item. A thin bar turns green when the list is complete.
• Hover it to see the next item for each slot and where it comes from. Upgrades already in your bags are marked Equip:.
• The progress is broken down by source: quests, dungeons and raids, world drops, and professions.
• Missing BiS slots are highlighted in the paper doll.
• Each slot shows the gap between your equipped item and its BiS.

Filters

• The filter bar is always visible.
• Search matches item names, bosses and zones.
• Source filters (quest, dungeon or raid, world, profession) can be combined. The dungeon picker appears while the dungeon filter is on.
• The faction filter defaults to your faction.
• The maker filter cycles through all items, only items their maker alone can wear, and hiding those items.
• A shown/total counter appears while filters hide items, and the empty list offers Clear filters.

Group play

• Loot alerts. When you or anyone in your group gets an item that is BiS for your build and phase, a highlighted chat message and a sound tell you. /bis alerts turns this on or off.
• Dungeon notice. Entering a dungeon or raid with items from your list shows how many there are. Click the notice to open the list filtered to that dungeon. /bis dungeon turns this on or off.
• Share lists in chat. /bis link head posts the ranked BiS items for one slot. /bis link posts the top item of every slot. Messages go to raid, party, or say when you are alone. Shift-click an item icon to link it in chat.

Other

• The interface is ready for translations, with a partial Spanish (esES) translation.
• Fixed a freeze on the first build change while item data was loading.
• Item lists now carry structured sources (zone, boss, drop rate, faction, profession skill, quest).
