ForeverBiS

Your WoW Forever companion: best-in-slot lists, a full loot and quest catalog, profession leveling, class training and a GPS for trainers and services, all in your tooltips and one small window.

ForeverBiS is built for WoW Forever. It brings together the gear lists, loot tables, quest chains and leveling guides you'd otherwise look up on five different websites, and checks them against your character: what you own, what you've done and where you're standing.

Quick start

• Type /bis, click the minimap button, or set a hotkey in Settings › General.
• Hover any item to see who recommends it and where it drops.
• Right-click any list to switch between its views (specs, dungeons, professions), and right-click again to go back.

Features

Item tooltips

• Which specs recommend the item, with your spec's provisional score. Hold Shift for every class.
• Where to get it: boss, quest, vendor, crafted or world drop.

BiS

• Recommendations for all 28 specs, scored with ForeverDB's public stat weights. Scores are provisional comparisons, not simulations.
• Knows what you own and wear, so the items you still need stay on the list.

Catalog

• Dungeons & raids: every instance in one place, with a Loot | Quests switch. Opens on the dungeon you're in.
  • Loot by boss or by slot, from Ragefire Chasm to Naxxramas, plus world bosses. Some of Forever's newest dungeons don't have loot tables yet.
  • Quests with the chain that unlocks each one, live status (done, in your log, ready to turn in, locked), and who gives it and where.
• Classic reputations, PvP, sets, collections and world events, with gold NEW and cyan REWORKED badges on items Forever has changed.
• Crafting: recipe catalogs for every profession.
• Item lookup: search any item and see every place it comes from.

Dungeon map

• Forever's client has no dungeon maps, so inside a dungeon the map shows the dungeon's own floors, with boss pins (greyed once killed) and the room you're in.

Professions

• Leveling guides with the materials you still need, counted against your bags and your current skill.
• An Optimized path planned for the lowest expected cost, and a Live plan that replans from your skill, uses the recipes you know, and prices with Auctionator when it's installed.
• Merchant's Favor: what fills each Waylaid Crate, where to hand crates and Shipping Labels in, and everything Favor buys.

GPS

• The closest trainers, flight masters, innkeepers, bank, auction house, repairs, vendors, mount vendors and more, with distances that update as you walk.
• View GPS as a party member: their class's trainers and services, measured from where they stand.
• Library books: which books you're still missing, where they're reported to be, and your progress toward the rewards.
• Boats & zeppelins: every dock with where it goes next, nearest route first.
• Click a row to pin it on your map and follow the waypoint arrow. Positions are never guessed, and Questie's live positions are used when Questie is installed.

Training

• Your class spells by level: train now, check at your trainer, next levels and later, plus pet training, demon grimoires and weapon skills.
• The nearest trainer one click away, and an optional chat line when you level up.

Window and settings

• Resize it, zoom the list, pick Compact or Comfortable layout, and it snaps to the screen's edges as you move it (hold Alt to place it freely).
• Pin the window to keep it open when you press Escape. Double-click the header to fold it down to its tabs.
• The Filter button shows how many of the current list's filters you've changed, e.g. Filter (1), and resets just those.
• Turn any tab, tooltip line, the waypoint arrow or the minimap button on or off in Settings.

Commands

Did you know?

• Hold Shift over an item for every source and every class's recommendation.
• In GPS, Shift-click a row to link its map pin in chat.
• Leave the window open: it switches to GPS in towns and back when you leave.
