Forever Translated to darmowy dodatek, który pokazuje tłumaczenie zadań i rozmów z postaciami w osobnym panelu, obok okna gry. Sama gra zostaje po angielsku: dodatek nigdy nie zmienia okien ani tekstów Blizzarda.

Funkcje

• Panel z tłumaczeniem – opis, cele i zakończenie zadania oraz to, co mówią postacie, gdy z nimi rozmawiasz. Możesz go przesunąć, powiększyć i zmienić wielkość liter.
• Tylko bieżący etap – gdy oddajesz zadanie, widzisz to, co postać mówi teraz. Wcześniejsze części rozwiniesz kliknięciem.
• Angielski oryginał na jedno kliknięcie – jednym przyciskiem przełączasz PL i EN, a po najechaniu na słowo z kropkowanym podkreśleniem widzisz jego angielską nazwę. Imiona postaci i nazwy miejsc zostają po angielsku, żeby łatwo je znaleźć na mapie i w poradnikach.
• Dziennik zadań – lista twoich zadań z polskimi tytułami, podzielona na krainy. Otwierasz go wybranym klawiszem albo ikoną przy minimapie.
• Zgłaszanie błędów – kliknij „!” w panelu albo wpisz /wfp flag i opisz problem. Twoja uwaga trafi do nas razem z następnym eksportem.
• Pomóż rozwijać tłumaczenie – gdy zadanie albo rozmowa nie ma jeszcze tłumaczenia, dodatek zapisuje angielski tekst na twoim komputerze. Wpisz /wfp export, skopiuj tekst i wklej go na stronie forevertranslated.com. Nigdy nie publikujemy tego, co wysyłasz.

Prywatność

Dodatek nie łączy się z internetem i niczego nie wysyła sam: eksport opuszcza grę tylko wtedy, gdy sam go skopiujesz. Zapisuje angielskie teksty z gry (zadania, rozmowy, słowa NPC i strony notatek), dni, w których je widział, poziom i krainę zadania oraz klasę, rasę i płeć twojej postaci, bo od nich zależy treść niektórych zadań. Nie zapisuje imion graczy, serwerów, kont ani czatu: twoje imię w tekście zastępuje znacznikiem, a wypowiedzi NPC z imieniem innego gracza, którego zna, pomija.

Instalacja

1. Zamknij grę. Nowe dodatki wczytują się tylko przy jej starcie.
2. Rozpakuj plik zip do folderu gry (w becie: _classic_beta_) → Interface → AddOns. Pojawią się trzy foldery: ForeverTranslations, ForeverTranslations_plPL i ForeverTranslations_SourceIndex.
3. Uruchom grę. Jeśli dodatek jest oznaczony jako nieaktualny, zaznacz „Load out of date AddOns”.
4. Przy pierwszym zalogowaniu czat cię powita. Wpisz /wfp, żeby zobaczyć pomoc.

Po aktualizacji uruchom grę od nowa: samo /reload nie wczyta nowych plików. Polecenia: /wfp (pomoc) · /wfp options · /wfp journal · /wfp export · /wfp flag <uwaga>

Warto wiedzieć

• Panel używa czcionki Arial Narrow, która jest w grze, bo domyślna czcionka gry nie ma polskich liter.
• Na razie tłumaczymy starty Skyborne, ludzi i nieumarłych (Zephras Isle, Northshire i Elwynn Forest, Tirisfal Glades) oraz Redridge Mountains i Stormwind. Kolejne krainy dochodzą z każdą aktualizacją. Postęp: forevertranslated.com/postep

ENGLISH - Forever Translated

Quest and NPC conversation translations for World of Warcraft: Forever, shown in their own panel. Polish is available now; more languages are planned.

Forever Translated is a free add-on that shows a translation of quests and NPC conversations in a separate panel next to the game's window. The game itself stays in English: the add-on never changes Blizzard's windows or text.

Features

• Translation panel – the quest's description, objectives and completion, and what NPCs say when you talk to them. Move it, resize it and pick your text size.
• Current stage only – when you hand in a quest, you see what the character is saying now. Earlier parts open with a click.
• The English original, one click away – switch between PL and EN with one button, or hover a dotted word to see its English name. Character and place names stay in English, so you can find them on the map and in guides.
• Quest journal – your quests with translated titles, grouped by zone. Open it with a key of your choice or the icon by the minimap.
• Report mistakes – click "!" in the panel or type /wfp flag and describe the problem. Your note reaches us with your next export.
• Help the translation grow – when a quest or a conversation has no translation yet, the add-on keeps its English text on your computer. Type /wfp export, copy the text and paste it at forevertranslated.com. We never publish what you send.

Privacy

The add-on never goes online and sends nothing by itself: an export leaves the game only when you copy it yourself. It stores English game texts (quests, conversations, NPC lines and note pages), the days it saw them, the quest's level and zone, and your character's class, race and sex, because some quest texts depend on them. It never stores player names, realms, accounts or chat: your own name in a text becomes a placeholder, and NPC lines that name another player it knows are skipped.

Installation

1. Close the game. It only loads new add-ons when it starts.
2. Unpack the zip into your game folder (in the beta: _classic_beta_) → Interface → AddOns. Three folders appear: ForeverTranslations, ForeverTranslations_plPL and ForeverTranslations_SourceIndex.
3. Start the game. If the add-on is marked out of date, tick "Load out of date AddOns".
4. The first time you log in, the chat greets you. Type /wfp for help.

After an update, restart the game fully: /reload does not load new files. Commands: /wfp (help) · /wfp options · /wfp journal · /wfp export · /wfp flag <note>

Good to know

• The panel uses Arial Narrow, a font the game already has, because the default font has no Polish letters.
• So far we are translating the Skyborne, human and undead starts (Zephras Isle, Northshire and Elwynn Forest, Tirisfal Glades), Redridge Mountains and Stormwind City; more zones come with every update. Progress: forevertranslated.com/en/progress
