Description

Trade smarter in WoW Forever. Forever TradeDex is a standalone Auction House and profession assistant that brings local market prices, crafting cost estimates, shopping plans and item analysis together in one interface.

Features

• Automatic & manual Auction House scans: Capture available auction listings when you open the Auction House, subject to the game's scan cooldown. Use the manual scan button to request a new snapshot when permitted. A progress indicator and chat confirmation show when a scan completes successfully.
• Local market database: View last-scanned asking prices and item availability. Data is stored locally, separated by realm and faction, and remains accessible after you leave the Auction House.
• Prices in item tooltips: See stored auction prices for eligible, tradeable items. Bind-on-Pickup items are not treated as auctionable merchandise.
• Profession & crafting advisor: Import recipe information from your profession window, compare ingredient costs with the recorded asking price of the finished item, and sort priced recipes by potential gross profit.
• Recipe catalog & commissions: Explore your known and recorded unlearned recipes, calculate materials for items crafted by other players, and account for an optional crafting fee.
• Crafting plans & shopping lists: Combine the materials needed for planned crafts, track available bag contents and recorded bank information, and estimate what remains to be purchased.
• Disenchant analysis (experimental): Compare auction asking prices with modeled enchanting reagent outcomes. Separate conservative model results, positive expected values with risk, and all analyzed items. These are research estimates—not guaranteed profits or purchase recommendations.
• Auction search shortcuts: Use the small auction hammer icons to search for an item in the open Auction House. No purchases or bids are made automatically.
• Flexible interface: Movable window and profession panel, adjustable interface scale, minimap shortcut and language selection (English / Deutsch).

Getting started

Install the ForeverTradeDex folder in Interface/AddOns for your WoW Forever client, enable the addon, and type /tradedex (or /ftd) to open it. Open the Auction House to collect a price snapshot, then visit your profession window to collect recipe information.

Your market database, recipes, plans and settings are retained using WoW SavedVariables. WoW writes these files to disk on logout or /reload.
