Buff Reminder makes the button of a missing buff glow on your action bar, so you see what to cast without looking at a buff list.
What it does
- Missing buffs. Every buff of your class that is missing glows on its button: Power Word: Fortitude, Mark of the Wild, aspects, paladin auras, armors and more. Buffs that replace each other count as one: any aspect, any aura, any armor, and a group version such as Prayer of Fortitude counts as the single buff. In combat, when the game hides your buffs, it remembers the ones it saw or that you cast.
- Weapon buffs. Shaman imbues, rogue poisons (per hand) and warlock stones glow when they are missing or about to run out, with an alarm sound.
- Not on your bars. A message names buffs you have learned but put on no action bar.
- Party buffs. In a party, a message names the members in range who miss one of your buffs (Fortitude, Mark of the Wild, Arcane Intellect for mana users, your blessing). With two or more missing and the reagent in your bags, it suggests the group version, such as Prayer of Fortitude, Gift of the Wild, Arcane Brilliance or a Greater Blessing.
- Quiet when it should be. Nothing shows while you are dead, mounted, on a taxi, eating, or, if you choose, resting in town.
