# Warcraft Forever Men På Norsk

**Warcraft Forever Men På Norsk (WFN)** brings a broad Norwegian localization layer to World of Warcraft: Forever while keeping Blizzard's gameplay logic intact.

WFN translates public, player-facing text across the game and falls back to the original English text whenever a safe or reviewed Norwegian translation is not available.

## Questie support

WFN does not modify Questie's database. Questie remains fully optional.

When Questie is installed, WFN can translate Questie's visible tracker text and quest links while preserving Questie's own level/type tags, hyperlink payloads and UI behavior. For example, a link displayed as `[18D] Collecting Memories` keeps its `[18D]` tag while the quest title is localized.

## Safety and compatibility

WFN is designed around public text and stable IDs where available. It does not automate protected gameplay actions. Secret or unavailable values fail closed to the original Blizzard text instead of being forced through the translation layer.

The addon is built for **Warcraft Forever** and uses Interface **16001** in this release.

No optional addon is required for WFN itself to run.

## Development status

Warcraft Forever is an evolving client, so WFN is continuously expanded as new or changed text is discovered. The built-in Datavakt workflow is used to review and promote observed Forever text into the shipped translation corpus.
