Forever Idle
An idle game that lives inside World of Warcraft.
Mine the vein, hire a crew, send expeditions across Azeroth and Hearth home for Renown. Your crew keeps mining while you're logged out, so there's always gold waiting when you get back.
Type /idle to start playing.
Features
- 10 hirelings to hire. Start with a Peasant Prospector in the Jasperlode Mine and work up through Kobold Tunnelers, Goblin Shredders, Kodo Caravans and Auction House Flippers, all the way to a Dragon Hoard Lease.
- Upgrades. Double a hireling's output once you own enough of them, or buy guild and mining upgrades that boost every click and all your income.
- Richer veins. Work your way from Copper up to an Arcanite Lode.
- 13 expeditions. Send your crew from Elwynn Forest to Naxxramas. Clear a zone to bring home a relic with a lasting bonus, like Hogger's Collar or the Head of Nefarian.
- Renown. Hearth home to reset your run in exchange for Renown, which makes every hireling mine more. Renown, relics and cleared zones carry over, and your standing climbs from Neutral to Exalted.
- Offline progress. Your crew keeps working while you're logged out.
Your real character helps
Forever Idle rewards you for just playing the game.
- Rested shifts. Log out in an inn or a city and your crew works at full pace while you're away, like rested XP. Log out anywhere else and they work at half pace.
- Bonus gold. Levelling up, turning in quests, looting ore and casting your Hearthstone all pay out.
- Scouting. Visit a zone for real and it's "scouted": expeditions there take half the time and bring back twice the gold.
- Account-wide income. Levels across your characters, your richest wallet and the real ore you've mined all add to your income.

You can also open it from the addon compartment by the minimap, on clients that have one.
Compatibility
Built for Classic Era (Interface 11509 and 16001). Your save is shared across every character on your account.
