Description
Taming is a game again. Explore WoW Forever, find the beasts that teach each pet ability rank, tame them and train your pet the classic way. What nobody has found yet is your next hunt.
Nothing is copied from websites or databases: everything the addon knows was found in the game by its players. What you see and tame is noted and shared, and the catalogue grows with every hunter – which beast teaches which rank, where it lives, and which ranks you have learned.
Play in complete mode to see everything that is known, or in explorer mode to see only what you discovered yourself and how much is still out there.
Features
- Abilities – every rank, the beasts that teach it, their spawn points on the zone map, and which ranks you have learned.
- Area – a progress book per zone: which beasts live here, what they teach, and how many you know.
- Training – what your active pet can learn right now, like the classic training window.
- Beast tooltips – what a beast teaches and whether you know it already, as you hover over it.
- Collects as you play – targeting, hovering, nameplates, Track Beasts, taming and Beast Training all feed the catalogue, and players of the addon share with each other in the game.
English and German, following your client language. Type /fhp to open it.
Beta
This is a beta. The catalogue grows with every player – early on, many beasts are still unknown. That is part of the game: go out and find them. Please report problems and findings on GitHub.
Data and privacy
The addon ships only data collected in the game and reads names, icons, maps and models from your client – nothing from websites or other addons.
With Share observations on (the default), what you see and tame is shared with other players of the addon in the game, and it may become part of the shipped data under the MIT license once enough players have confirmed it. By playing with sharing on, you agree to this. No character names are stored, only a short code derived from the name – a pseudonym, not full anonymity. Switch the setting off and nothing is sent or received.
