Forever Guild Recruiter is a lightweight World of Warcraft addon designed specifically for **WoW: Forever Beta (1.60.1)**.

Inspired by the Olympus addon, Forever Guild Recruiter helps guild recruiters discover players, explore guilds, organize recruitment activities, analyze player activity, and track recruitment progress through a clean and easy-to-use interface.

The addon focuses on discovering and tracking players and guilds **outside the Olympus guild community**, making it easier to identify potential new recruits.

### Search & Discovery
- Search for players by name, guild, class, or zone.
- Discover players through manual `/who` scans.
- Automatically record players encountered through targeting and mouseover.
- Browse discovered guilds and their members.
- Track when players were last seen.

### Automatic Player Scanner
- Enable periodic `/who` scans.
- Automatically cycle through level ranges.
- Scan approximately every 90 seconds while enabled.
- Toggle scanning through the toolbar or `/fgr auto`.
- Automatic scanning is disabled by default.

Scanning remains subject to server and API restrictions.

### Smart Scan Scheduler

Improve automatic player discovery with an optional intelligent scanning mode.

- Prioritize level ranges based on previous scan results.
- Give additional attention to underrepresented level ranges.
- Adapt scanning priorities as more information is collected.
- Maintain the existing 90-second automatic scan interval.
- Enable or disable Smart Scan Scheduler using `/fgr smartscan`.

Smart Scan Scheduler uses locally recorded scan information and remains subject to server `/who` limitations.

### Advanced Player Filters
Find potential recruits more easily with customizable filters.

- Filter players by minimum and maximum level.
- Filter by character class.
- Filter by guild membership.
- Filter by recruitment status.
- Access filters directly through the left toolbar.

### Smart Sorting
Organize discovered players using different sorting options:

- **Last Seen** – Recently discovered players first.
- **Name** – Alphabetical order.
- **Level** – Sort by character level.
- **Activity** – Sort by recorded player activity.
- **Priority** – Sort by calculated Recruitment Priority Score.

### Player Profiles

Right-click a player and select **Player Profile** to view their recorded information.

Player profiles provide access to:
- Character name, level, and class.
- Known guild information.
- Last recorded sighting.
- Recruitment status.
- Recorded player activity.
- Recruitment Priority Score.

Profiles are based on locally collected information.

### Player Activity Tracker
- Track how often players are discovered.
- Record separate player sightings over time.
- View recorded activity in player profiles.
- Avoid counting repeated sightings within a five-minute window as separate activity events.

Activity tracking does not represent complete online history.

### Peak Hours Analysis
Discover which hours are most active based on recorded player sightings.

- Analyze player sightings by hour of the day.
- Identify periods with higher recorded activity.
- View hourly activity statistics through the Analytics interface.
- Access Peak Hours Analysis using the toolbar or `/fgr analytics`.

Peak Hours Analysis uses locally recorded data and does not represent actual server-wide population or online player counts.

### Scan History
Review previous player discovery scans.

- Record scan timestamps and level ranges.
- Track the number of scan results.
- Track newly discovered players during scans.
- Store up to 60 recent scan records.
- Access Scan History through the toolbar or `/fgr scans`.

### Zone Activity Tracker
Discover where players have been encountered most frequently.

- Track recorded player sightings by zone.
- View zones with the highest recorded activity.
- Compare discovery activity across different areas.
- Access Zone Activity through the Analytics interface or `/fgr zones`.

Zone statistics reflect recorded sightings rather than verified live zone populations.

### Recruitment Priority Score
Identify potentially interesting recruitment candidates using a calculated score.

- Assign a recruitment priority score from **0 to 100**.
- Calculate priority based on character level, known guild status, recent activity, and Watchlist status.
- Display scores in Player Profiles.
- Sort discovered players by priority through Advanced Filters.

Priority scores are estimates intended to assist recruitment decisions.

### Guild Growth Tracker

Track changes in the recorded membership of discovered guilds.

- Record daily snapshots of known guild member counts.
- Compare recorded guild sizes over time.
- Identify increases and decreases in known membership.
- Review guild growth information through a dedicated interface.
- Open Guild Growth Tracker using `/fgr growth`.

Guild Growth Tracker measures changes in locally discovered membership records. It does not provide verified guild rosters or exact server-wide guild populations.

### Recruitment Watchlist
- Add interesting players to a personal watchlist.
- Access saved candidates through the right toolbar.
- Add or remove players through the right-click menu.
- Keep watchlist information between sessions.

### Recruitment Alerts
- Receive notifications when watchlisted players are discovered again.
- Display alerts in chat and on-screen.
- Enable or disable alerts through the left toolbar.
- Toggle alerts using `/fgr alerts`.
- Five-minute cooldown per player.
- Excludes players marked as **Declined** or **Joined**.

Alerts depend on players being detected by the addon.

### Do Not Contact List

Respect player preferences with a dedicated Do Not Contact system.

- Mark players who do not want to receive recruitment messages or invitations.
- Add or remove players through the player right-click menu.
- Prevent Quick Whisper actions for marked players.
- Prevent Guild Invite actions for marked players.
- Save Do Not Contact preferences between sessions.

Do Not Contact restrictions apply to recruitment actions initiated through Forever Guild Recruiter.

### Recruitment Management
Track individual recruitment progress with these statuses:

- **Not Contacted**
- **Whispered**
- **Invited**
- **Declined**
- **Joined**

Statuses are stored locally.

### Quick Whisper & Whisper Templates
Contact potential recruits using editable recruitment messages.

Choose between five recruitment templates:

- **General** – General guild recruitment.
- **PvE** – Recruitment focused on dungeons and raids.
- **PvP** – Recruitment focused on player-versus-player content.
- **Leveling** – Recruitment for players leveling their characters.
- **Casual** – Recruitment for relaxed and social gameplay.

Templates can be customized before sending.

Custom template text can also be configured using chat commands.

### Player Notes
- Add personal notes to discovered players.
- Right-click a player and select **Player Notes**.
- Edit and save notes between sessions.
- Track note updates through Recruitment History.

### Recruitment History
- View recorded recruitment activity for individual players.
- Track discoveries, repeat sightings, recruitment status changes, watchlist changes, and note updates.
- Access history through the player right-click menu.
- Store up to 40 history events per player.
- Display the 12 most recent events.

### Data Export & Import

Back up or transfer recruitment information using a dedicated data management interface.

- Export locally recorded player information.
- Include recruitment statuses, player notes, and Watchlist data.
- Copy exported information as text.
- Import previously exported information through a text field.
- Validate imported data before processing.
- Preserve existing player records when importing.
- Access Data Export & Import using `/fgr data`.

Data is transferred manually and is not automatically synchronized between players.

### Quick Player Actions

Right-click a player to access available actions:

- **Guild Invite** – Initiate a guild invitation with confirmation.
- **Quick Whisper** – Prepare an editable recruitment message.
- **Recruitment Status** – Update recruitment progress.
- **Player Profile** – View detailed player information and priority score.
- **Player Notes** – Add or edit notes.
- **Recruitment History** – Review recorded activity.
- **Toggle Watchlist** – Add or remove a recruitment candidate.
- **Do Not Contact** – Enable or disable recruitment contact restrictions.

Left-click a player to copy their name. Guild names can also be copied.

### Recruitment Statistics
Access recruitment statistics through the right toolbar.

Available statistics include:

- Known Players
- Without Known Guild
- Guild Members
- Discovered Guilds
- Recently Seen
- Not Contacted
- Whispered
- Invited
- Declined
- Joined

Statistics can be viewed separately for Alliance and Horde.

All statistics are based on locally collected information rather than verified server-wide data.

### Minimap Integration
- Custom cyan minimap icon.
- Left-click to open or close the addon.
- Right-click to start a manual `/who` scan.
- Drag to reposition the minimap icon.

## How to Use

### Opening the Addon
Type `/fgr` in chat or click the minimap icon.

The legacy `/fc` command is also supported.

### Navigating the Interface
Use the **right toolbar** to switch between Guilds, Players, Guild Members, Watchlist, and Statistics.

Use the **left toolbar** to control scanning, recruitment alerts, player filters, Peak Hours Analysis, and Scan History.

### Discovering Players
Use `/fgr scan` or the manual scanner icon to start a `/who` scan.

Use `/fgr auto` or the automatic scanner icon to enable or disable periodic scanning.

Enable Smart Scan Scheduler with `/fgr smartscan` to prioritize level ranges using previous scan results.

### Filtering & Sorting
Open **Advanced Filters** from the left toolbar.

Choose your preferred level range, class, guild status, recruitment status, and sorting method.

Select **Priority** to sort players by their calculated Recruitment Priority Score.

### Managing Recruitment
1. Open the Players view.
2. Find potential recruits using filters and sorting.
3. Right-click a player to open their profile.
4. Review their Recruitment Priority Score and recorded activity.
5. Add interesting players to your Watchlist.
6. Use Quick Whisper and select a recruitment template.
7. Update recruitment statuses.
8. Add Player Notes and review Recruitment History.
9. Mark players as Do Not Contact when appropriate.

### Viewing Analytics
Open Peak Hours Analysis or Scan History from the left toolbar.

Use the Analytics interface to switch between Peak Hours and Zone Activity.

Open Guild Growth Tracker using `/fgr growth` to review recorded guild membership changes.

### Exporting & Importing Data
1. Type `/fgr data` to open Data Export & Import.
2. Export and copy your recruitment data.
3. Save the exported text somewhere safe.
4. Paste previously exported data into the import field when needed.
5. Review the import result.

### Viewing Statistics
Open Statistics from the right toolbar and switch between Alliance and Horde as needed.

## Important Information

Forever Guild Recruiter relies on information available through the World of Warcraft client. It cannot guarantee a complete or real-time list of every online player.

Player discovery, automatic scanning, Smart Scan Scheduler, and cross-faction visibility depend on server and API limitations.

Guild membership, player information, and recruitment statuses may be incomplete or outdated.

Activity tracking, Peak Hours Analysis, and Zone Activity Tracker use recorded sightings and should not be interpreted as verified online playtime or server population statistics.

Guild Growth Tracker reflects changes in locally recorded membership data, not verified guild growth.

Recruitment Priority Scores are estimates based on locally available player information.

Do Not Contact restrictions apply only to recruitment actions performed through this addon.

Recruitment notes, history, watchlists, templates, and statistics are stored locally and are not automatically synchronized between guild members.

Data Export & Import provides manual data transfer. Keep exported recruitment information private and share it only when appropriate.

Recruitment alerts are triggered by eligible player sightings, not by guaranteed online-status detection.
