What's new
### Fixed
- Buttons keep their whole brass frame: the plate was cut with a half-circle that shaved the frame off at both ends and left the bright top edge looking clipped. It now follows the painting's own rounded ends, with a thin dark outline, and its ends stay whole on wide and narrow buttons alike.
### Changed
- A new quest marker: a brass exclamation mark with a crimson gem, painted to match the journal and a little taller than the old gold diamond (which stays as a fallback). It floats over the creatures your active quests need you to fight.
- Autobiography: duels won, duels lost and duels fought in total, each on its own line (for one character or all of them).
- The marker has its own page in the settings, *Settings > Quest marker* (it was at the bottom of Tooltips): first its size, with the marker drawn at that size over a nameplate while you drag the slider, then when it shows.
### Changed
- How progress counts (account-wide or per character) is easy to find: it is the first setting in *Settings > General* (it was further down in Settings > Journal), and the journal's *Progress* page has it at the top, with a word on what each choice means.
- The look is one click from the journal: the palette button at its top (next to the settings) switches between the painted expedition journal and the flat color themes. Settings > Appearance keeps every option.
- The welcome guide has two steps (how progress counts, sharing): everyone starts in the painted journal. Players already on a flat look are moved to the painted journal once, with a chat line on how to switch back; the theme and colors they chose are kept for it.
- Which discoveries show the notification at the top of the screen comes first in *Settings > Notifications*, under a clearer name (*Which discoveries show a notification*, formerly *What counts as a discovery*). Every notification has a cog: *Don't notify me about these* turns that kind off at once, and the whole list is one click away.
### Fixed
- A strip of leather now lies between the frame and everything inside it, in every painted window (journal, settings, editor, dialogs, welcome guide): buttons such as *New discovery* or *Save* no longer sit against the frame. The welcome guide's painting and its choices line up.
- Without filter chips, the card list starts level with the detail panel.
- The quest marker shows only over creatures you have to fight (kill or loot) for an active quest; friendly NPCs a quest sends you to talk to keep the game's own marks.
- The Overview, Statistics, Progress and Autobiography pages use their whole width while there is nothing to scroll, so their right edge lines up with the toolbar's. They also lay out again when the window is resized, instead of keeping the old width.
- The detail panel keeps the same margin on both sides while there is nothing to scroll.
### Changed
- A new look: the journal is an adventurer's expedition journal. Leather inside a stitched frame with brass corners, the cards and details on parchment, brass-rimmed buttons and search fields, a parchment bookmark on the page you are on, and a painting at the top of every page (20 pages, the settings and the welcome guide). Toasts glow, empty lists show a painting. Text, numbers and labels are drawn by the addon over calm surfaces.
- New layout: the navigation keeps the left side with the addon's name on top; every page starts with its illustrated header (title and count), then a row with the search, the page's own controls (sort, filters, Show in journal, character...) and New discovery.
- Settings > Appearance > Style: Expedition journal or Flat. The flat style keeps the color themes, custom colors and the old surfaces; your theme and colors are kept. The welcome guide's last step offers both.
- The settings window has the same look and can be made taller.
