Forever Chef

A Cooking companion for World of Warcraft: Forever. Hover an ingredient to see every recipe that uses it, find out where to learn the ones you're missing, and get a waypoint to go there.

Features

• Buff filter – narrow the recipe list to food that gives a chosen buff (Strength, Stamina, Spell Damage, Fishing, mana and more).
• Ingredient tooltips – every Cooking recipe that uses an item, green if you know it, red if you don't, with how to learn it. All 132 recipes are built in, so it works even on characters without Cooking.
• Recipe window (/fchef or the minimap button) – every recipe with its status, how it's learned and the zone. Sort and group by clicking the column headers; recipes new in WoW: Forever are marked [New].
• Recipe details – ingredients (and how many you carry), required skill, every vendor, trainer, quest or drop that teaches it, and the food's effect.
• Waypoints – track as many recipes as you like. Each shows as an icon on the world map and minimap, with an arrow on the minimap's edge for ones out of range. TomTom arrows if installed. Waypoints clear themselves when you learn the recipe.
• Cooking ranks (/fchef ranks) – how to reach Apprentice, Journeyman, Expert and Artisan, with requirements, costs, every trainer of your faction and waypoints.
• Faction aware – sources your faction can't use are hidden.
• Learns as you play – recipe vendors, trainers, drops and quest rewards you come across are recorded and shown first.

How reliable is the data?

Recipes, ingredients and food effects come from the game client's own data. Where to learn a recipe is shown as confirmed when two different websites agree or it was seen in game. When only one source names a place it's shown as Suggested, and with nothing at all it says Unknown.

WoW: Forever is still changing. If something is wrong or missing, type /fchef export and paste the text into a GitHub issue. Your finds help fill in the Unknown recipes for everyone.
