What's new

NEW

  • Forever Bestiary now includes 8 font options and will pull fonts included by other add-ons.
  • Optionally add light or heavy shadows to bestiary text.
  • Creatures that are shared to you, without you having encountered them before, will show an icon in the Model Viewer. You may not share creatures that were shared with you, and such creatures will not count toward badges.
  • Added a toggle to block incoming share requests.
  • Receiving share requests will no longer automatically open the bestiary.
  • Separate dungeon wings will now be tracked independently as their own dungeons. Dungeon wings are identified by the bosses in them. When a dungeon wing is identified, creatures logged will be categorized to the appropriate wing. This will likely be improved further.
  • New hidden badges (and categories) have been added.
  • Creatures in the Creature List now have a color based on their disposition toward you. Names are no longer tinted based on whether or not they have been killed - this made friendly and neutral creatures difficult to read.
  • Added sound effects to many of the bestiary's buttons and features.

CHANGES

  • Updated the rings that display around badges and added visual effects to badges. When they are earned and when they are set to display, particles will appear.
  • Players see changes to others' displayed badges much, much sooner.
  • With no sorting applied, the newest creatures added appear at the top of the Creature List instead of the bottom.
  • The Model Viewer now fades more when the bestiary itself fades.
  • Pinned creature icons now scale appropriately. Before, they would differ slightly based on the scaling applied.
  • Pins on the map related to quest-starting items now have a unique icon.
  • Detailed creature locations on the map are now added more accurately.
  • Rebuilt the tutorial. Additional functions have been included, new creatures have been added to the Creature List, and large blocks of text have been broken up.
  • Rebuilt the help page with nested topics and additional information.
