What's new

Blue: new in 2.0.2. Full history below.

2.0.2 - 2026-11-06

New

  • Party frames: your own heals over time and buffs on each member (Rejuvenation, Renew...) with their time, in a line under each frame together with the debuffs you can dispel; the gap between party frames grows so they fit. Raid frames show your heals over time too. Switch in /fa (Modern interface).
  • Bags: Shift+click on a stack opens the game's split window (with a chat box open it still links the item).
  • /fa perf: the ten parts of the addon that used the most time since the last /fa perf.

Fixed

  • Buffs shown twice on unit frames (the game's list can repeat an aura).
  • A debuff (e.g. Corruption) kept showing after it was gone: the addon's own copy of auras is now only used in combat, expired auras drop out, and everything is read again when combat ends.
  • Lag when killing quest targets: the experience bar no longer selects quests in the log (that started a loop of quest-log updates), upgrade checks after looting wait until the bags settle and never run in combat, the professions panel refreshes once per second at most, and nameplates only update their health percent when health changes.

2.0.1 - 2026-11-06

New

  • Party frames: up to 4 debuffs you can dispel next to each member, with the border coloured by type (magic, curse, disease, poison), time left and tooltip. Switch in /fa (Modern interface).
  • Combo points (rogues, druids in cat form): five pips over the target frame (red at five), since the game's target frame that showed them is hidden by the modern interface.

Fixed

  • Buffs and debuffs of your target (friend or enemy) no longer vanish when combat starts: the addon keeps its own list from the game's aura updates when the game stops answering in combat.
  • World map without OpenMap: the icons of every zone no longer pile up on the Azeroth map.
  • Enemy nameplate cast bars: a Lua error in combat ("notInt").

Changed

  • OpenMap is now a required dependency on CurseForge: the CurseForge app installs it automatically with Forever AIO.

2.0 - 2026-11-06

Forever AIO 2.0 brings together everything since 1.9.2 (versions 1.10.0 to 1.14.0 below were never published separately).

New

  • Experience bar: the XP of the quests you've completed and not handed in yet shows on the bar in amber, right after your current XP, with "+x% in quests" on the bar and the total in its tooltip. Can be switched off in /fa (Experience).
  • Modern interface: party frames fade when a member is out of range or offline, also in combat.

Fixed

  • Modern interface: your target's buffs and debuffs show during combat too.
  • Dungeon guide: the "Find group", "Map" and "Loot" buttons no longer cover the Loot and Map tabs, and "Share with guild" fits its button.

Changed

  • OpenMap is no longer bundled: it's a separate addon (a required dependency on CurseForge).
  • License: Forever AIO's own code is GPL-3.0-only; third-party parts keep their licences (see THIRD-PARTY.txt and COPYING.md).

1.14.0 - 2026-11-06

Task-oriented Home with six primary actions and up to six favorites. Inactive modules are hidden in categories, accessible through All and global search. ON/OFF badges removed from everyday cards. Best Gear, Professions and Alts use the shared workspace outside combat when unprotected.

1.13.0 - 2026-11-06

Navigation and shared UI redesign: category sidebar, favorites, larger cards, command-aware search, saved window positions, screen fitting, compact lists and wrapped descriptions. Explicit module errors and accurate privacy deletion feedback.

1.12.0 - 2026-11-06

Profession recipe selection, skill-cap-aware plans, partial purchase cost visibility and live bag refresh. Best gear priority ranking, gain threshold filter and separated toolbar.

1.11.1 - 2026-11-06

Auction launcher: explicit Subastas/Auctions name, menu action, /fa subastas and /fa auctions commands. Activation at an already-open auctioneer opens the panel.

1.11.0 - 2026-11-06

Visual refresh: slate panels and cyan accents, roomier list rows, clearer secondary text, stronger active tabs, redesigned module cards and a dedicated search toolbar.

1.10.1 - 2026-11-06

Stability revision: stat unit parsing, profile validation, module initialization recovery, equipment result verification and deferred edit-mode restoration.

1.10.0 - 2026-11-06

New

  • LFG Forever in the game's group finder: members with class and role, open spots for your role, comments and real zones coloured by your level; every dungeon and zone at any level. Adapted from LFGForever by Pinta365 (MIT).
  • Group finder "Forever" tab: searches groups in every language, with dropdowns for category, dungeon / zone, filters, class and languages; friends and guild first; Invite / Join and whisper.
  • Profiles with preview, undo, export and import; Privacy panel; What to do now (with your group's dungeon quests); Death analysis; Gear sets; Group coordination; Custom alerts.
  • Modern interface: own raid frames, nameplate extras, action bar range colours and short key names, tooltip position and size, one font everywhere; Edit mode (/fa edit).
  • Options say which modules each module uses; dungeon runs count deaths; hunters get a pet-food reminder; Shift on an item tooltip shows its auction price history.

Changed

  • Auction prices use the 14-day median of observations; on-screen notices are throttled; the gear simulator reads ratings and percentages correctly; failed modules are rolled back and listed; modules that are off aren't set up at login.

Fixed

  • "Bajas" instead of "muertes" for enemies killed in Spanish dungeon runs; Lua error at login without a guild; profession names overlapping the numbers; squares instead of arrows.

Removed

  • Group finder in chat: replaced by LFG Forever and the "Forever" tab.

1.9.2 - 2026-11-06

Fixed

  • Damage meter: "what is doing the most" and the top spells now show during the fight too, not only after it (your own row always; other players once they've been seen out of combat, recognised by their spec icon, like Details!).
  • Fishing: catches are recorded again (with auto loot the game doesn't always say the loot came from fishing).
  • Professions: recipe names no longer run over the skill-up chance and cost per point, and the numbers show as soon as the recipes are read.

1.9.1 - 2026-11-06

New

  • Fishing (/fa fish): choose your fishing key in its window ("Choose key", or Key Bindings > Forever AIO > "Fish / hook"); the same key casts and, while the line is out, hooks the fish (the bobber is soft-targeted, no need to aim). Optional double right-click (off by default). Louder fishing sounds while the line is out, auto loot while fishing, and what you catch per zone with the chance of each fish. Own code, in the spirit of Better Fishing.
  • Damage meter: hover a name (during or after the fight) to see what is doing the most, with its icon, and the top spells with their share; it updates live while you hover.
  • Incoming heals on Forever AIO's unit frames (target, party, you): a green bar after the current health, also in combat.

Changed

  • Group roles now show exactly the role set with the game's "Set role" (no more guessing from talents or class). Bear form no longer turns your role, or a druid party member's, into tank. /fa rol sets your role like "Set role". The icon on Forever AIO's party frames is now next to the level.

Fixed

  • "ForeverAIO has been blocked from an action only available to the Blizzard UI" when pressing Escape (the guild and bank popups tainted the game's popups). This could also leave action bars not showing in combat.
  • Lua error in the dungeon guide's Quests tab for quests whose start only Polestar knows.

1.9.0 - 2026-11-06

New modules (each can be turned off in /fa options).

  • Guild (/fa guild, also opens with the game's guild button and J; "Game window" still opens the game's own):
    • Members: search by name, class, zone, rank or note, online only, sort by rank, name, level or last online; level, rank, zone or how long ago they were on, notes and officer notes; mains and their alts. Right-click to whisper, invite to group, edit notes, promote, demote or remove (as your rank allows).
    • Events: dungeon and raid nights with day, time and size; tank / healer / damage slots, sign up with your role or "maybe", shared with the guild, announce in guild chat, reminder 15 minutes before.
    • Professions: who has each profession and at which skill (from the game's guild list and from members using Forever AIO), with its own sort per profession.
    • Activity: who joined, left, levelled up or changed rank.
    • Management (officers and GM): inactive members with one-click removal, message of the day, recruitment message for a channel, automatic welcome for new members, invite by name, members per rank.
  • Class-coloured names: player names in class colours in chat, tooltips, the game's unit frames (you, target, focus, party), nameplates and over other players' heads (friendly nameplates, names only).
  • Group roles: role icons on party and raid frames (tank / healer / damage), from the game, from other Forever AIO users or from the class; your own from your talents or /fa rol.

Dungeon guide

  • Dungeon guide and dungeon loot are now one window, with the Forever-only dungeons (Thane's Spire, Lordaeron, Excavation, Dalaran...) in their own section; real summaries of each dungeon; your notes shared with the guild showing who wrote them; quests from Questie and Polestar; loot of the new dungeons from Polestar.
  • Dungeon maps inside the guide and a small movable map while you're inside, with your position when the game gives it; a button next to the minimap opens and closes it.

Fixes and improvements

  • CC guard works in combat again: it now remembers the CC you and your group (with Forever AIO) cast, so the nameplate icon and the "Don't break the CC!" warning show even when the game hides aura details. An old wrong guess that switched detection off is cleared.
  • Bags: the close button works in combat; bank bag slots can be bought and filled from the bag bar; each bag's slots have their own colour, and the bank (optionally the bags) starts a new row per bag.
  • Camp icons disappear when the campfire burns out.

1.8.3 - 2026-11-06

  • Map: the camp (campfire) and dungeon quest giver icons were drawn 16 times too big; they now have the same size as every other icon.

1.8.2 - 2026-11-05

  • New button on the world map (top right) for every Forever AIO map icon: click to show / hide them all, right-click to choose layers (gathering on the map and minimap, herbs, mining, chests, rares on the map and minimap, hunter pets, books, camps, dungeon quest givers, entrances, boats and flight masters). Your choice is saved; nodes and rares keep being recorded while hidden.
  • Bags: the window can be dragged by its title row, and the search box no longer shows two overlapping hints.

1.8.1 - 2026-11-05

  • Fixed a Lua error that repeated every frame with the modern UI ("Interface.lua:546: attempt to perform arithmetic on a secret number value"): the target cast bar, the aura rows and the CC guard icons no longer do maths on frame sizes the game hides.
  • Gathering map: herbs are recorded again on Spanish clients ("Recolección de hierbas"), and any gathering spell is now recognised by what you loot (herb or ore), also with auto-loot.
  • Lua errors and blocked actions of the session are saved for diagnostics (ForeverAIODB.diag.lua), even with the game's error window off.

1.8.0 - 2026-11-04

Six new modules (each can be turned off in /fa options).

  • Dungeon guide (/fa dungeons) reworked as a dungeon journal: search by dungeon, boss or quest; the Quests tab shows every dungeon quest as a card with its status, who gives it and where (arrow), the quest you need first, XP, money, reputation and the item rewards as icons ("choose one" apart) with a green arrow on upgrades for you and what your class can't use dimmed; hover the title for the objectives, who to turn it in to and the next quest of the chain; "Show on map" pins every quest giver of the dungeon; a summary with quests available, XP left and upgrades. The Bosses tab shows each boss's loot as icons with upgrades marked. Item rewards come from Polestar's Forever leveling data, from the game for quests in your log, and from every quest window you open.
  • CC guard (/fa cc): enemies under crowd control (Polymorph, Sap, Shackle, Freezing Trap, Hibernate, Banish, Repentance, Turn Evil...) get the CC icon on their nameplate, and you get a big "Don't break the CC!" warning when you target one ("Stop attacking!" if you're hitting it). Tells you when a CC breaks early. CC plan by raid marker: "Auto" assigns your group's CCs, "Announce" posts the kill order and the CC list to the group and shares it with everyone using Forever AIO, so they're warned on those markers even when the game hides aura details in combat.
  • Chat spam filter (/fa spam): hides gold sellers, boosts and real-money ads (on by default), guild recruitment and profession ads (optional) and the same message repeated within a minute. Score-based, so one word alone never hides a message; never touches friends, guild, group or allowed players/words; your own block words; a log of what was hidden where you can show any message again (Shift+click to always allow that player). /fa spam test <message> shows how a message would be classified.
  • Cooldown numbers (/fa cd): the time left on every cooldown, OmniCC-style. Uses the game's own countdown (works in combat) with size that follows the button, outline and colour; hides the numbers on the global cooldown and on tiny icons.
  • Instance tracker (/fa inst): every dungeon run with time, XP, gold and kills, your average time per dungeon, a run timer while inside, raid lockouts, and how many instances you've entered in the last hour with a warning before the hourly limit (5 by default, configurable).
  • World buffs (/fa wb): your world buffs with time left and a warning 5 minutes before they end; Onyxia/Nefarian head and Rend drop times (from the city yells or the buff itself), shared with your guild, with when the next one can be dropped. Most useful once raids open on December 9.
  • Camping (/fa camp): what your professions add to a camp and their effect, a warning when it won't stack with a class buff you already have, camp buffs on you with time left, when your camp items are off their 1-hour cooldown, and camps placed by you, your guild or your group in a list and on the map (with an arrow). "Announce" posts your camp to the group.

1.7.0 - 2026-11-04

Ready for the official launch of WoW: Forever.

  • Talents updated for the launch client (1.60.1.70755):
    • New max ranks: Critical Mass 3, Incineration 5; rogue (Lethality 2, Seal Fate 3, Opportunity 5, Camouflage 3, Relentless Strikes 5, Dual Wield Specialization 2), paladin (Reverence 2, Spiritual Focus 5, Improved Seals 5, Divine Precision 2, Shield Specialization 2, Iron Creed 3, Conviction 3, Champion of the Light 5) and warrior (Improved Tactical Mastery 3, Bloodthrill 2, Flurry 3).
    • Renamed talents are still found by builds: Accelerant (Improved Fireball), Precision (Elemental Precision), Unsealed Wrath (Twist of Light), Coup de Grace (Improved Eviscerate).
    • Talents removed at launch (Arcane Focus, Berserk, Instrument of Law, Quietus...) are skipped, and moved talents (Pathfinding, Missile Barrage, Enrage...) show in their new row.
  • Gear simulator uses the launch racials: The Human Spirit 10%, Tauren Endurance 5% health only, Skyborne Wind Blessed 2% haste.
  • No more "beta" labels: this is the launch version.

1.6.2 (beta) - 2026-10-23

  • Updated for the October beta build (1.60.1.70532):
    • Talent builds follow the new talent ranks (Fire Power 3, Critical Mass 5, Missile Barrage 2, Lava Burst 4...): a build never asks for more ranks than a talent has now, so "Spend next" no longer gets stuck on a talent that lost ranks. Talents that moved rows show in their new place and builds still find them.
    • Gear simulator: Tauren's Endurance no longer gives +1% hit.

1.6.1 (beta) - 2026-10-19

  • Fixed a Lua error ("Trainer.lua:61: bad argument #2 to 'tonumber'") that could repeat after visiting a trainer, when you then used a mailbox, chest or other object. The trainer helper now only reads the list while a trainer window is really open.

1.6.0 (beta) - 2026-10-18

A much better auction house.

  • Full scan: one button reads the whole auction house at once and saves the lowest price and quantity of every item (the game allows it every 15 minutes). It runs on its own the first time you open the auction house or when the last scan is older than an hour. If the server doesn't allow it, it looks up your bag items, your recipes' materials and your list items one by one instead.
  • Auction prices in every item tooltip, with how old the price is and whether it went up or down since the previous scan (hidden if Auctionator is installed).
  • Bigger auction window next to the auction house with six tabs: Scan (last scan, items priced, biggest price drops), Gear (items from the scan you can use, by slot and level, upgrades first with their %), Materials (trade goods by category, the ones your recipes need marked, price trend), Lists, Sell and My auctions. Click an item to search it and buy it; right-click to add it to your shopping list.
  • Inspecting a player: hover their gear to see where each piece comes from (boss, dungeon, quest, vendor, crafted...).
  • Interface editor (/fa ui, or Open in the settings): every change shows at once, no /reload.
    • General: bar texture, font, font size, outline, health colour (class, custom colour or dark), background opacity, scale.
    • Player, target, pet, target of target and party, each on its own: width, height, power bar on/off and its height, power value, name, level, health text (value + %, value, %, current / max, missing, hidden) and portrait (left or right).
    • Cast bars: width and height of yours, height of the target's, icon, time left, cast and channel colours.
    • Buffs and debuffs: on/off per frame, icon sizes, rows of yours, square or rectangular, countdown numbers, grow to the right or left, below or above the frame.
    • Party frames: show or hide, space between them.
    • Buttons to move the frames, reset positions and go back to the default look.
  • Target buffs sit right under the target (no gap) and only drop below its cast bar while it casts.
  • The game's own target cast bar no longer shows over the target frame.
  • Polestar Guides is now a required dependency (the CurseForge app installs it with Forever AIO). Forever AIO loads after it, and the first time it finds Polestar it turns off its own auto accept / turn in quests, auto repair, sell junk and tooltip upgrade lines so they don't run twice (you can turn them back on in /fa).
  • Fixed: Chinese, Korean and Cyrillic names showed as boxes in the modern interface.
  • New profession planner (/fa profesiones), made with Polestar's profession guides plus your own data.
    • Each of your professions has its own tab with an icon, a skill bar, the next cap, and buttons to go to the trainer or open the guide in Polestar.
    • Now: the recipe the Polestar route uses at your skill (known or not, and where to learn it), how many crafts are left and what they cost. It lists the materials for that step with what you have, what to buy and the price, plus where to get each one (vendor, a farming spot with an arrow, or the auction house). For gathering professions it shows where to level for your skill and race, with an arrow. Under that come your own cheapest recipes.
    • Route 1-300: every step (ranks to train, recipes to learn, each recipe from-to with crafts and cost), with done steps greyed out and the current one highlighted.
    • Materials: everything you need up to the next cap or to 300, with the total cost.
    • Buttons to scan those prices at the auction house, add the list to your auction shopping list, or print it to chat.
  • Reminders redone: every reminder is a button that does the thing. Click to cast a missing buff or weapon imbue, call or revive your pet, equip an upgrade from your bags, or open the talents, trainer or professions window. Right-click hides a reminder for 30 minutes.
    • New checks: talent points to spend (with the next talent of your build), new spells at your trainer, profession ranks to train, pet missing or dead, food and drink running low, bags almost full, low durability, upgrades in your bags, and ammo left in minutes of shooting.
  • Threat meter improved: target name, how much margin you have before you pull aggro, and who has it. The warning threshold is yours to set, and the warning names the spell that drops your threat if you have it ready (Feign Death, Feint, Vanish, Fade...). A loud alert fires when you pull aggro off the tank. In groups, nameplates take your threat colour (red: it's on you, orange: about to; tanks see red where they lost aggro). Pets in the group are shown too, and the window has a new look.
  • Talents improved:
    • Marks on the game's own talent window: a ring on the next talent of your build, the pick number of the next ones, and a tooltip line saying where each talent comes in your build.
    • Build picker with each build's split (31/20/0) and the level it goes to.
    • Import a build from a talent string or a calculator link, export your talents as a string, and save your current talents as your own build. Right-click a build of yours in the picker to delete it.
  • Removed the rotation helper: it couldn't recommend a reliable rotation.

1.5.0 (beta) - 2026-10-18

New look and easier to use.

  • New launcher (minimap button or /fa menu): every module as a tile with its icon and what it does, grouped by Leveling, World, Character, Combat and Interface, with a search box. Click to open (a module that is off is switched on), right-click for its settings.
  • New settings window (/fa or right-click on the minimap button): modules by section on the left with an on/off dot and search; on the right what the selected module does, its command, an on/off switch, an Open button and its options. The game's Settings > AddOns page now just opens it.
  • Trainer planner redesigned: summary cards (available now, next levels, your money), spells grouped level by level with big icons, weapon skills with where to learn them and an arrow.
  • Dungeon loot redesigned: wishlist and dungeons for your level first, bosses with skulls and item counts, scrolling item cards with quality borders, slot and type, upgrade badges (upgrades first).
  • Damage meter: numbers with two decimals at most (1.23M, 4.32K).
  • Modern interface (optional): buffs and debuffs under your frame, your pet's and your target's; new cast bars (icon, time left, spark, blue for channels, shield when it can't be interrupted, red when interrupted; your cast bar can be moved with /fa ui unlock); class colours on players' nameplates; your health bar in your class colour; health as value or percent; frame scale, width, cast bar height and buff size in the settings.
  • Bags: free slots of your normal bags and the arrows/bullets you carry, in the bag window and on the game's backpack button (red when almost full or under 200 ammo).
  • Map icons keep the same size on screen at any zoom.
  • New design for every window: dark gradient panels with a soft shadow, amber accent, icon in the title bar, flat close button, flat buttons (main actions highlighted), on/off switches instead of tick boxes, search fields with a magnifier, slim scroll bars, zebra-striped lists with section titles.

1.4.0 (beta) - 2026-10-18

  • New: OpenMap comes with Forever AIO (its own "OpenMap" folder in the same download, by the OpenMap contributors, MIT licence): one seamless world map with every zone stitched together. Turn it on or off in /fa; /fa openmap opens it.
  • Our map icons (gathering nodes with their material, rares, library books, beasts) are drawn on OpenMap's stitched map too, for every zone in view. Dungeon entrances, boats and flight masters are left to OpenMap, which already shows them.
  • The window mover leaves the world map alone when OpenMap is on.

1.3.0 (beta) - 2026-10-18

  • Gathering map: each node on the map and minimap shows the icon of what it gives (Tin Ore, Silver Ore, Peacebloom...) instead of a generic copper or flower icon. Taken from what you looted, or from the node's name for nodes you already had; if a spot spawns another vein, the latest one is shown.
  • New: Loot sparkles (/fa sparkle). Quest items sparkle again (the outline graphics setting hides it), and the herb or vein in front of you gets golden glints with the icon of what it gives, red when your skill is too low. Every game setting it changes is put back when you turn it off.

1.2.1 (beta) - 2026-10-17

Updated for the October 16 beta build (1.60.1.70425).

  • Talents: rows and columns now come from where the game itself draws each talent, so talents Blizzard moves between rows (Priest, Shaman, Mage...) show in their new place; builds find their talents by name, so they still work after a talent is moved, and renamed talents (Improved Fire Blast, Trial by Fire, Grim Reach) are recognised. Talents that were removed are skipped.
  • Gear simulator: Human, Dwarf and Orc weapon specializations are gone (now Ruthless, Earth Fury and Savage, which work with any weapon), so swords, maces and axes are no longer favoured for those races; Skyborne haste updated.

1.2.0 (beta) - 2026-10-11

Fixes

  • Unified bags: the reagent bag is now inside the unified bags (it opened apart), and the B key closes them again.
  • Gathering map: the mark hides when you get close, so the game's own tracking shows whether the node is really there; nodes you just gathered are greyed out for 5 minutes.
  • Whispers: work when the client hides the sender's name; the module is switched back on once.
  • Unified bags open and close with B during combat too (instead of Blizzard's bags).
  • Right-click on an item at a vendor sells it (it equipped it).

Reworked

  • Unified bags in the style of Bagnon: compact flat window, bag bar (show/hide single bags, hover to see a bag's slots, drop a bag to equip it), item level, new-item glow, reagent bag slots tinted, search by name or type, and a unified bank window at the banker.
  • Trainer in the style of What's Training: spells by category (available now, next levels, later, known, ignored) with prices, right-click to ignore, a button on the spellbook, and a new Weapons tab: which weapon skills your class can still learn, the weapon master that teaches each one, where (with arrow) and the cost.
  • Hunter pet guide in the style of a pet atlas: bestiary of every tameable beast with filters, 3D model, spawn points on the map; families; pet trainer abilities; my pet with happiness, food and a Feed button; big alert when your pet is unhappy.
  • Best gear in the style of Gear Quest: up to three hunts per slot with sources, track the ones you want (tracker on screen, arrow, ticked off when you get the item), green arrows on upgrades at vendors and quest rewards, best item for each slot in the character sheet tooltips.
  • Dungeon guide in the style of a dungeon journal: overview with entrance and arrow, bosses with their loot, dungeon quests with who gives them, your notes.
  • Dungeon loot in the style of AtlasLoot: dungeons, bosses and an item grid, filters by spec and upgrades, search, and a wishlist that warns you when you loot one.
  • Rare scanner in the style of RareScanner: rares on the world map and minimap (alive / dead / unknown, tameable), alert with a 3D model and what it can drop, explorer of every rare with its loot.
  • Professions in the style of SkillUp: skill-up chance and gold per skill-up next to each recipe in the profession window, and a next-craft tracker with the reagents you're missing.

New

  • Talents (Talents Forever style): your three trees read from Forever's talent system, recommended builds to level 60 with their leveling order (talentsforever.com, CC BY 4.0, plus a 31/20 Marksmanship build), a level-by-level plan, a "final build" view of how your trees will end up, the next point to spend and buttons to spend it.
  • Attunements (Attune): every chain step by step, what you've done, quest givers with arrow, your guild's progress.
  • Layer tracker: your layer under the minimap, alert when it changes, guildmates on your layer.
  • Library books on the map: the 40 books, which you have and which you've handed in.
  • Damage meter (from the game's own meter: Forever gives addons no combat log): movable and resizable windows, mode picked from a dropdown (damage, healing, DPS, interrupts...), current or overall fight, and as many windows as you want.
  • "Get out!" alerts: avoidable damage from the game's meter, and debuffs you mark as dangerous.
  • Auction house helper (Auctionator style): shopping lists, sell with undercut, my auctions.
  • Map extras (MapUtils style): dungeon entrances, boats, zeppelins, tram and flight masters on the map and minimap; zone levels and fishing skill; coordinates.
  • Move Blizzard windows (BlizzMove style): drag, Ctrl+wheel to scale, positions remembered.
  • Tweaks (Leatrix Plus style) and maximum camera distance.
  • Optional modern interface (EllesmereUI style, off by default): unit frames, cast bars, flat action buttons, square minimap, flat tooltips and chat.

1.1.4 (beta) - 2026-10-04

  • Fix: whispers were ignored when the client hands addons the sender's name as a protected value. The name is now taken from the player's GUID, and if that is hidden too the whisper is still shown (as "Unknown") with its notice, instead of being dropped.
  • Whispers: errors when sending from the window are reported; whisper diagnostics are saved for /fa api.

1.1.3 (beta) - 2026-10-04

  • New: Threat meter (/fa threat). Your threat on your target in % (100% = it attacks you), colored like the game's threat, with your group sorted below it and a warning at 90% if you're not the tank.
  • Dungeon maps: Forever has no dungeon map pictures and Questie has no positions inside dungeons, so the window now shows the entrance (with an arrow) and the bosses with their level and loot count, plus a button to see their loot.
  • Profession helper: with more than five professions the tabs go on two rows; new buttons get the modern look too.

1.1.2 (beta) - 2026-10-04

  • New: modern look for every window (flat dark panels, thin accent border, flat buttons). Can be turned off in /fa.
  • Dungeon maps: when the client has no map picture, the layout is drawn from where every creature stands (Questie), with numbered bosses and a boss list.
  • Fix: professions weren't saved on clients that return an empty profession name; the name now comes from the recipe, the profession list or the window title.

1.1.1 (beta) - 2026-10-04

  • Whispers: own minimap button with the unread count (it glows while you have unread whispers) and an on-screen notice with the message for every whisper; click it to open that conversation.
  • Dungeon maps: the list is filled even when the client doesn't list dungeons under the continents, and dungeons without a map picture show their bosses.
  • Best gear: filter by talent spec, and chests show every zone they spawn in (or that they're random world chests).
  • Profession helper: tabs fit in the window and empty professions are hidden.

1.1.0 (beta) - 2026-10-04

  • New: menu on the minimap button (left-click) with every window of the addon.
  • New: Whispers (/fa w), like WIM. One conversation per person with saved history and times, reply box, invite and /who buttons, sound, auto-open (a notice in combat), option to hide whispers from the normal chat.
  • New: Dungeon maps (/fa map). The client's map art for each dungeon and floor, with bosses and elites from Questie and your position inside.
  • New: Rotation helper. An icon with the next spell to press (and the two after) for your talent spec, with its key binding. Uses Blizzard's assistant when the client has it.
  • New: talent specs. Gear tooltips show the change for each spec of your class ("+14% Beast Mastery +17% Marksmanship +16% Survival"), and the dungeon loot window can filter by spec.
  • New: the unified bags show the bags, bank and mailbox of your alts (button with the character name).
  • Fix: texts no longer run outside their window (long lines are cut instead of overlapping); wider trainer window and XP bar.
  • Fix: professions are read with more versions of the profession API, with diagnostics.

1.0.4 (beta) - 2026-10-04

  • Fix: "Internal auction error" when searching the auction house. The search now tries simpler queries when the server refuses one and remembers the one that works.

1.0.3 (beta) - 2026-10-04

  • Fix: the auction house wasn't detected on Forever, so "Search the auction house" and the reagent price scan did nothing. The addon now also watches the auction window itself, and uses the classic auction API when the modern one returns nothing.
  • New: /fa ah (/fa subasta) runs the gear search from chat.

1.0.2 (beta) - 2026-10-04

  • Fix: the B key opened and closed the unified bags in the same press (one key press calls several bag functions). It now decides once per press.

1.0.1 (beta) - 2026-10-04

  • Fix: the B key could fail to open the unified bags on some clients.

1.0.0 (beta) - 2026-10-04

  • New: Alts and gold (/fa alts). Bags, bank, mailbox, equipped items and gold of every character; item tooltips show how many each alt has and where; search across all alts; mail sent to your alts is added to their mailbox.
  • New: Gathering map (/fa gather). Mining veins, herbs and treasure chests you gather are saved and drawn on the world map and the minimap, shared with your guild and group, with an arrow to the nearest node.
  • New: Experience bar. XP per hour, time to level, kills and quests left to level, rested XP. Drag to move, right-click to reset.
  • New: Mail helper. "Open all" collects gold and items (skips cash on delivery), and a list of your alts fills the recipient with one click.
  • New: Group finder in chat (/fa lfg). Recognises LFM/LFG messages for every dungeon (English and Spanish), lists the groups for your level with a whisper button and warns you when a group needs your role.
  • New: Reminders. Missing self buffs, hunter ammo and pet happiness, rogue poisons, warlock soul shards, profession cooldowns ready on any alt and mail about to expire.
  • New: Unified bags (/fa bags, or the B key). All bags in one window with search, sort, free slots and gold; upgrades get a green arrow and grey items a coin; right-click uses or sells like the default bags.
  • New: Dungeon loot (/fa loot). Weapons and armor of each dungeon's bosses and elites from Questie's database, plus what really drops for you and your guild, with upgrades marked.
  • Fix: visiting the hunter pet trainer replaced the class spell list. Pet trainer abilities are now saved apart and shown in the trainer planner, and the old wrong list is cleared.
  • Fix: the trainer read the service type in the wrong position on Forever.
  • Diagnostics from the trainer, professions and auction house are kept between sessions.

0.9.0 (beta) - 2026-10-04

  • New: Rare scanner (/fa rares). Spots rares on nameplates, target, mouseover and minimap vignettes with an alert and an arrow; remembers when each rare was seen alive or killed and learns its respawn time; shares sightings with your guild and group so you learn timers together; lists the rares of your zone and marks the tameable ones. The pet guide shows the timer next to rare beasts.
  • New: Profession helper (/fa prof). Reads your profession window and tells you the cheapest recipe to craft for your next points, with a shopping list (what you have, what to buy, at what price), warns you to train the next rank before the cap and shows where the trainer is. Gathering professions get zone suggestions for your skill.
  • New: Prices. Vendor prices are remembered, the auction house can be scanned for reagents and for gear, and Auctionator's prices are used if you have it.
  • Best gear now includes items you or your alts can craft, recipes from profession trainers and auction house listings, with their price.
  • Fix: the trainer planner didn't save anything on Forever (the trainer filter needs true/false). The class spell list is now shared with your alts of the same class.
  • Fix: the Equip button (Forever uses C_Item.EquipItemByName).
  • Fix: flight times. Default speed measured on the beta, the speed is refit over all your flights, and the bar shows extra time instead of a stuck 0:00.
  • Fix: rares were labelled as bosses. Rares, dungeon bosses and world bosses are told apart.
  • Calibration ignores samples taken under temporary buffs (robust fit).
  • Errors inside events are now logged for the author instead of failing silently.

0.8.1 (beta) - 2026-10-04

  • Fix: the beast log saved other players' pets (a warlock's voidwalker, a hunter's pet named "Bear"). Player-controlled units and non-tameable families are now ignored, and bad entries saved by older versions are removed.

0.8.0 (beta) - 2026-10-04

  • New: Best gear you can get (/fa best, or the button in the gear window). Scans Questie's Forever item database plus everything you've looted, bought or been offered, simulates every item your character can wear, and shows the best one per slot for your level and for the next 5 levels, with where to get it (quest, vendor, boss or drop, zone) and an arrow to it. Opposite-faction quests and vendors are skipped.
  • New: the addon learns sources while you play: loot (with the creature), vendor stock and quest rewards.
  • Pet guide: a "Best for you" box picks the single best pet for leveling, groups or PvP (chosen automatically from where you are) and the best beast of that family at your level, with an arrow. Beasts now also come from Questie's NPC database (marked "(Questie)" until you see them).
  • Gear: weapon proficiencies per class.
  • Questie, DBM and TomTom are required dependencies on CurseForge, so the app installs them with Forever AIO. In game, a message tells you if one is missing.

0.7.1 (beta) - 2026-10-04

  • Diagnostics: the API check and any module error are saved in the addon's SavedVariables, so testers don't need to copy them from chat.

0.7.0 (beta) - 2026-10-04

  • New module: Flight timer. Next to the flight map, a panel lists every destination with its flight time (green = measured, ~yellow = estimated from route length and stops); click a row to fly. While flying, a draggable bar counts down to landing.
  • Every flight is timed and saved for the whole account, and the estimate for routes you never flew learns your real flight speed.

0.6.0 (beta) - 2026-10-04

  • New module: Waypoint arrow. /way 45.2 67.8 text puts an arrow on screen with distance, turns green when you face it and clears itself when you arrive. Waypoints queue up (/way list, /way next, /way clear) and also show as Blizzard's pin on the world map.
  • Works with TomTom: if TomTom is installed, waypoints are sent to TomTom and its /way command is left untouched.
  • Pet guide: "Arrow to the nearest" button takes you to the closest logged beast of the selected family.
  • Optional dependencies declared for TomTom, Questie and DBM so they load first.

0.5.0 (beta) - 2026-10-04

  • Gear upgrades now use a simulator instead of fixed stat weights. It starts from your real character (class, race, level, talents and current gear as the game reports them), swaps the item in a copy, converts stats with your class and level (Agi to crit, Str/Agi to attack power, Int to mana and spell crit...) and runs a combat model for your role: melee, hunter, caster and healer output with miss, dodge, crit and hit caps, mana sustain, and tank effective health.
  • Forever racials are part of the model: Human +2% crit with swords, Dwarf +1% with maces, Orc +1% with axes, Tauren +5% health and +1% hit, Gnome +5% mana, Night Elf +1% dodge, Skyborne +1% haste, Human +5% spirit.
  • Self-calibration: every time your stats change out of combat the simulator records them and fits the real Agi-to-crit and Int-to-spell-crit ratios Forever uses for your character.
  • Tooltips and the upgrades window show the simulated % change in DPS, HPS or survival and why (attack power, crit, hit, mana...).

0.4.0 (beta) - 2026-10-04

  • New module: Gear upgrades (/fa gear or middle-click the minimap button). Scores items with leveling stat weights for your class and role, shows "Upgrade +X%" in item tooltips, tells you in chat when new loot is an upgrade, and lists every upgrade in your bags and bank with an Equip button.
  • Profiles per class (for example Druid: melee, tank, caster, healer). Change with /fa profile.
  • Respects armor types by level (mail at 40 for hunters and shamans, plate at 40 for warriors and paladins), shields, level requirements and dual wield.

0.3.0 (beta) - 2026-10-04

  • New module: Hunter pet guide (/fa pets or Alt-click the minimap button). All 18 Forever pet families with their new and changed abilities and diet, what to tame for leveling, dungeons and PvP, and the known fast-attack beasts.
  • Beast log that fills itself: every tameable beast you target, mouse over or see a nameplate of is saved with family, level, zone and position, and shows up as "you can tame now" when it fits your level.
  • Beast tooltips show "Tameable (family)" for hunters, in green when your level allows it.

0.2.0 (beta) - 2026-10-04

  • New module: Trainer planner. Open your class trainer once and the addon saves every spell up to level 60 with its level and cost. Shows what you can learn now, what comes in the next 10 levels and the gold you need, warns on level up, and has a "Learn all available" button at the trainer (/fa trainer or Ctrl-click the minimap button).

0.1.0 (beta) - 2026-10-04

  • First version for the WoW: Forever beta (client 1.60.1).
  • Quality of life: auto-repair, auto-sell grey items, faster looting, low durability warning, coordinates under the minimap.
  • Transmog: appearance status in tooltips, alerts when loot or a roll has a new appearance, chat line for every appearance collected.
  • PvP: movable honor tracker (session kills, session honor, honor per hour, weekly stats and rank when the client provides them), most-killed list for the day.
  • Dungeon guide: all 9 new Forever dungeons plus the classic ones and launch raids, coloured by your level, with personal notes per dungeon.
  • Spanish and English.
